Re: Freewill religion is the Man of Sin ! - Part 2

You must be able to choose your path or you are not guility of anything. If God has pre-chosen your fate then you had no choice and are not guility.....God is and that is impossible given the necessary properties that God must posses to exist.

Hi Syzito and welcome to CF.net. :wave

My thoughts on this are that in Jesus we have been judged and are seen as the new nature of Christ. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Them outside can do nothing good and will come into judgment. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, and Romans 2:12, For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.

Genesis 18:25 Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Psalms 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

You must be able to choose your path or you are not guilty of anything.

I suppose you have a scripture that states that ?

It's a basic principle of law.
An example:
A woman who is engaged/married who has relations with another man is an adulterer -- in the O.T. law, adulterer's are to be stoned, but not if they had no choice. Deuteronomy 22:20-27.

The degree of guilt one has for a sin is proportional to knowledge and freedom to choose.

Note: Specifically, from the cross, Jesus says:
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

And again, to Pilate, Jesus said: "The one who handed me over to you is guilty of the greater sin."

a post like this generates strife and judgement .

2. A formal discourse on a topic; an
exposition.
this can not happen as long as each reply leads toward replies of false religion

bro mike you stated
Don't try to get around this. Your no better in understanding than Arminian Views Savedbygrace57................... Their election doctrine is just a watered down version of yours, both misunderstand the word "Whosoever" "All"
what is misunderstood about the word "Whosoever" "All" ? i would like to read your explanation ...

states the statement?!

What I wrote is a paraphrase; so if you're asking for a word for word quote -- no; I don't have that.

None the less, *full* sin guilt requires that the sin's cause not be found outside the person themselves.
In all courts, there is a distinction between things such as man-slaughter, and murder; between theft and robbery;
In a word, courts take into account external CAUSES of DURESS which EXCUSE certain sins to determine the DEGREE of sin.

If God forced someone to hate him (by duress) they have a cause for their action (an excuse/explanation).
Therefore: Sinners must hate God without a cause to be truly guilty.

The point is scriptural.

Dear brother, are the following scriptures what you may be referring to?

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

Ezra:

denial of what ??????

SavedbyGrace57 knows exactly what I am talking about. He knows what stance I take, this is not the first time we have met each other but have known him from years back.

I am not sure why the confusion here.

One positions makes God out to be some fairy fortune teller who uses tricks to forecast the future.

The other position puts the Divine Creator in complete control Of his creation.

One is a watered down version of the other, without the guts and is in denial.

If you need something more exploratory than this as my comment was for Savedbygrace57 who understands where I am coming from, then P.M me or something. To explain it all would go way off the topic.

Mike.

Common sense and logic.God being perfect must by his nature be logical or it would be impossible for the Christian definition of God to be true. In other words this God could not exist.

Walking around a wall 7 times so it could fall down is logical?

Just say'in.

Re: Freewill religion is the Man of Sin ! - Part 2

The for knowledge of the Godhead is not the issue. Surely Their knowledge is 'Perfect!' (Psalm 33:6-9)
There can be NO Doubt there.

But to place God as a sinner is the object of satan.

Clearly we see satan as the liar from the beginning as in Gen. 3:4. And this is another of his lies that most still teach for truth!

I reckon I am persuaded that if God said it, I believe it, and that's good enough for me as a song puts it. I remember hearing of a young preacher much learned in languages explaining to an audience how the Red sea was better interpreted as just a Reed sea probably only waste deep making it possible for Israel to pass over as they escaped Egypt.

On the same stage sat an old Evangelist that spoke next that asked something akin to "My young colleague could be right in the meaning of the word "Red" being a sea of reeds or water plants, but I have to wonder how all of Pharaoh's army drowned in that waste high water?

1 Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Be blessed in, and with the Word.
