"Go and sin no more"

But unless we repent we will perish. The soul that sins it WILL die.

Yes, let us repent and let us define a true repentance. For God gave men over to the lusts of the flesh because we did not esteem Him as God and were not thankful.
Will it now please God if we take credit for righteousness and blame the unrighteous while we're at it? Let us define what is the great sin that gave birth to all sin. Then we can truly repent.

How about no unforgiven liars, or maybe the forgiven liars will inter!

I find it quite fruitless to stand before God in Christ and trying to give cover to the tempter that operates in my own mind. I find no truth in that coverup. IN truth there is a DIVISION between that working and US as believers, IF and WHEN we eventually 'see' it.

No excuses for that one in me.

I believe Jesus put it this way:
Luke 18:11-14

New International Version (NIV)

11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.â

A believer who knows the facts of this is much more likely to be divided because they are repulsed by the fact of it, and humbled by that same fact. No matter how much paint we cast upon the outside of this tomb in order to appear totally righteous, the fact remains within.

It's simply pride in my estimation. When God divides us from our pride, we see the devil in us.

I hold no pity to that which I carry. The Wisdom of this matter has taught me truly what it is to fear the Lord, as this is only the beginning of Wisdom.

Well said. Thank God and to the credit of His mercy and understanding that the fear of God is not the end of wisdom.

Re: "Go and sin no more" Through the Power of the Gospel

For it is He that worketh in us to will and do His good pleasure. We are the Temple of God and through His Spirit He has given us all things that pertain to life and goddliness. We can do all things through Him who strengthens us. And we are more than conqueors through His love.

Healed not healing. What we believe is what we get. By our Faith we are made whole. Have faith and believe for he has given us all things pertaining to godliness!!

Tis the Gospel. Through His stripes we Have been healed. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Jesus said, "The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

Interesting Huh? Guess what is even more interesting. His next words!!!

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Just in case we missed that.... Let us see it again.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

You see we are given exceeding great and precious promises: that by these promises we might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2 Peter 1:4

Did we catch that? Having escaped. Done deal, have faith. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

So we can cast out demons move mountains through the Holy Spirit, but can't live without sinning?

God warns us of such.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent ( those who can't help themselves, no control, live without sinning), fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
