Bible Study God at the first did visit the Gentiles

Hey Brother hhh, from past posts I assumed as much, and now I know I don't have to find them. Thanks. :)
Oh no Brother Eugene! You have added to my knowledge a lot, with your input! I may know an answer, when I ask a question; but, I never assume I know everything there is to know, about anything.
I appreciate your use of Colossians in this thread; and what you added to Apology: please participate in any thread I start, I sincerly appreciate you. Thank you Eugene.

P.S. Eugene, you've earned enough respect from me, that even the one time I disagreed with you, I read every book with the word we were discussing in it, and felt bad to disagree with you.
My point is, you're intelligent, well spoken, and very personable.
I would consider it an honour for you to respond to my posts; please feel free to let me know, if I offend you in anyway, I would feel rude to offend somebody as meek, and soft-spoken as you have shown yourself to be.

Hi Jason, you have spoken very true words here...

It is written, And there shall come forth a rod out of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
Is. 11:1

Did you ever notice how many Gentiles are in Jesse's genealogy?

Wasn't Jesse more than half Gentile? if you don't think so, can you please show me scriptures to prove he wasn't?
actually jesse was a Hebrew. he was a Hebrew because his mother was a Hebrew. the father delineates land, and the mother was delinates heritage. because ruths son married a Hebrew jesse was fully "Hebrew". nice try.

ruth 4. the wives need not be listed but its implied.otherwise there would be no Hebrew nation. even the Hebrews that deny Christ wouldn't make that mistake.jacob wives were what? and whom was isaacs? Syrian?

How do you know (what tells you) Obed married a Hebrew woman? Sorry, I'm still trying to understand some of this.

it would be mentioned. to marry a goy for a man who was godly meant he was disobeying god. remember the grief esau caused rebecah and Isaac? and also the commands in the torah on that? remember that Naomi choose to become Hebrew and that would have happened under the judge Samuel. that implied that isreal would be sinning under his watch.

I can see that Rahab begat Boaz, and Ruth begat Obed of Boaz; but can you please name the Hebrew woman you allege begat Jesse?
when you can name a holy cannanite that loved YHWH but didn't live in isreal then you have your case.

bible? you say?

When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shall cast out many nations before thee, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; 2 and when the LORD thy God shall deliver them up before thee, and thou shalt smite them; then thou shalt utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them; 3 neither shalt thou make marriages with them: thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 4 For he will turn away thy son from following Me, that they may serve other gods; so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and He will destroy thee quickly. 5 But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire
weren't those the nations that he judged and said in judges after Joshua that he wouldn't remove because of isreal' sin? yup the Moabites were there. jebusites? david took that city and made it Jerusalem. amorites? they were around look after david and well cannanite is all encompassing. that would make obed a sinner and jesse as well.

and we have the son of david who was from a woman who married a Hittite who served god, a man named urijah. he wouldn't fight and die for a nation if he didn't love its GOD.

Then why wasn't Boaz a sinner?

it would have been noted. whom taught david about the YHWH it was a command? the parents would have. david never married a foreign woman, and told Solomon not to do that. that's why. bad habits are learned often.

Jason: I began this by pointing out, that you cannot prove Jesse's mom wasn't a Gentile; unless you can use the scriptures to prove she wasn't, I've made my point. I'm taking a nap. Aloha

So Boaz was disobeying God when he married Ruth, who was a Moabite proselyte?
For some reason I was thinking that within the Law a man could marry a proselyte but a woman could not.
Remember the two daughters when their father died they appealed to the court for the inheritance of the land. The court agreed but they could not marry outside their own tribe even, so that the land would stay with that tribe.

no he was keeping the inhertence of his kin. but the man who went to moab sinned.

that and this would be a problem for the sons of a Moabite. if david wasn't a Hebrew then he was subject to this.

According to the Bible, the Moabites opposed the Israelite invasion of Canaan, as did the Ammonites. As a consequence, they were excluded from the congregation for ten generations.[36] The term "tenth generation" is considered an idiom used for an unlimited time as opposed to the third generation which allows an Egyptian convert to marry into the community. The Talmud expresses the view that the prohibition only applied to male Moabite, who were not allowed to marry born Jews or legitimate converts. Female Moabites, when converted to Judaism, were permitted to marry with only the normal prohibition of a convert marrying a kohen (priest) applying. However, the prohibition was not followed during the Exile; and Ezra and Nehemiah sought to compel a return to the law because men had been marrying women who had not been converted at all.[37] The heir of King Solomon was Rehoboam, the son of an Ammonite woman, Naamah

and we know where that went. so I find it hard for any devout Hebrew to willingly do that.

so you say that jesus was a gentile? by that extension you said that.

if by the fact that obed was a Moabite, then how could enter into the temple? and pray. he cant.

the Moabite male was cursed unto ten generations. that meant. what? that Solomon, reboham, david, and others from jesse wouldn't be in the temple. we know that wasn't the case.

I will aslo that hhh is assuming that to be a Hebrew one genetically had to be one. uhm jews never said that.i posted a link to that case and if I didn't I would. the point im making is that the wives if they were Hebrew or not would be a concern. to be a Hebrew one must be doing torah. its not a race, but a faith. so unless one wants to argue that jesus was a roman, and also a heathen have at it.

What does it matter that Obed married a Hebrew or not; he was not but the half Hebrew son of Boaz and Ruth a proselytized Moabite. I had not previously looked at any of this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitzevet
Nitzevet (Nzb'th) was a Jewish woman who was a mother of King David according to the Talmud,

The Talmud tells of David’s mother being Nitzevet bat Adael?

To understand the hatred directed toward David, we need to investigate the inner workings behind the events, the secret episodes that aren’t recorded in the prophetic books but are alluded to in Midrashim.

they are taking a messianic verse and applying that orally to david, read the verse and what it says. its talking about jesus not david. though its possible that david could have been that hated. don't know. interesting for thought

I believe you to be speaking of Psalm 69, but is the history as pertaining to David's mother incorrect in the Talmud?
