hello Cygnus, dirtfarmer here
Are we told what Cain used to kill Abel? It could not have been a gun; they were not in existence then.

The dead babies count at over 58 million now sense 1972 Self protection and family protection are not even close to hunting down a abortion murder and then acting justes on him. That act is not justified .. Tell bet he did not kill any more after thatOh really?
I believe a gun was used to kill an abortion doctor in Florida.
Does your Christianity allow you to feel justified?

You have dove off the cliff, hoping the water doesn't break your neck, old friend. Holding a gun does not mean shooting someone and shooting an aggressor does not mean to remember your training and to shoot Center Mass. Shoulder and leg shots at ten foot or less are perfectly acceptable. Watch some creeps rape my wife is notBill, you are always ready to use your gun(s).
I hope you don't make a mistake someday.
The LORD of the Bible, (the Jewish Bible) is Jesus. (Jon, 3:1-3) The 27 books of the, misnamed, New Testament are life application commentaries on the Bible Jesus wrote!King David was just that, a King.
Jesus is our king.
We should follow the ways of our king, not an Old Testament Jewish king.
He would be just as dead if attacked with a hatchet.Oh really?

Or ran over in a car.the clinic fire bombed,or pipe bombed. He would be just as dead if attacked with a hatchet.
one can severely restrict abortion, even ban it....and abortions still happen, and the women involved often die as a result, or are permanently injured...especially poor and working class women.
based on what's happened in Australia, for instance, it does seem that severely restricting access to guns reduce the number of deaths due to gun violence (or...human violence involving guns, if you prefer....) considerably.
Here's what's terribly wrong with your analysis:one can severely restrict abortion, even ban it....and abortions still happen, and the women involved often die as a result, or are permanently injured...especially poor and working class women.

Culture, by your argument in Japan and those states your right to unlawful search and seizure isn't the same as in the u.s. .also the fact that your ignoring the high rate of knife attacks in those countries.one can severely restrict abortion, even ban it....and abortions still happen, and the women involved often die as a result, or are permanently injured...especially poor and working class women.

And slavery,we just busted a few rings of child sex slave rings.Yes and other murders still happen.. Should we then legalize other murders?
No, Jesus came down to mans level to raise us up to His level, with Him. (Heb. 2:5-18) We shall judge the world with Christ as sons of God and brothers of Christ. We will judge the world with Christ (1 Cor. 6:2-4) Study the Scriptures Allen. You lower Jesus down to your level.
Who are you?
Shame on you!
No, he punched the Hippie at the airport in the nose. ☺Bill, you are always ready to use your gun(s).
I hope you don't make a mistake someday.
Neither You, I nor any other will ever stop evil. there are nations all around the world that refuse to allow their peoples to defend themselves with a gun and yet I have never hear one of the anti-gun proponents use their decreased murder rate as a reason to base our national policy on... makes one wonder.one can severely restrict abortion, even ban it....and abortions still happen, and the women involved often die as a result, or are permanently injured...especially poor and working class women.

He knew, he is trying trash talking as one or more members here do to excite people, he's not stupid.Allen Wynne you must have realized you were presenting a controversial opinion. Your response to opposing points of view seems a little over the top. You have your opinion about owning a gun. Great. If you're going to take the next step of criticizing gun owners who want to protect their loved ones, you are really setting yourself up for a backlash.
Uh, Willie, I wish I could say that his nose was all I hit.No, he punched the Hippie at the airport in the nose. ☺
How about protection against thugs, murderers, rapists, arsonists, rioters, etc.?I'm against guns. I don't think they are Christian, unless you are a hunter for food or live in the wilderness for protection against wild animals.
Jesus said: "...he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." (Luke 22:36b)I just support the right to bear arms.
But that's a worldly thing, not a Christian thing.
