How to be saved.....

Oh, don't be so humble. You can give credit where credit is due. Like the source for your posts in this discussion?

Thanks for the "reveal". The sad thing about this link is that assurance of salvation is based on a very faulty interpretation of the verse that says "those who endure to the end will be saved".

If that were true, our salvation would be based on our efforts to endure. This is nothing more or less than works salvation. The exact same kind of works salvation that the Pharisees were deceived by.

So when Jesus says, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Luke 6:46 How will you answer him?

"We believe that genuine believers are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, the true church, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and thus, unable to be separated from the love of Jesus Christ."

Can a person who is cast into the depths of hell, be separated from the love of God, in hell?

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Yes.

Can a person be a person who has not genuinely believed?

Was Paul talking about "us" in Christ Jesus our Lord or persons not in Christ?

Yes.

Can a person be a person who has not genuinely believed?

Based on John 3:16, I believe that God loves unbelievers, the world.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Paul plainly says The love of God in Christ Jesus, so us in a reference to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Can a person who is in Christ Jesus, be taken away from Him, by God the Father? Yes.

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:2

Does God love people who were in Christ Jesus, then removed from Christ Jesus and cast into hell?

I asked you:
Can a person be a person who has not genuinely believed?

You quoted my question but didn't answer it.

John 3:16 is a teaching which shows us two ways (put of many others) in which God loved the world. Two of the ways in which He loved the world:
1. The person who believes in him is not judged (thus will not perish).
2. The person who does not believe has already been judged (thus will perish), because he "has not believed" in the name of the one and only Son of God

John 3:14-18 And just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, thus it is necessary that the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.”
For in this way [in the way the Son of Man be lifted up] God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life. The one who believes in him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

After you answer my previous question, please answer:
1. If a person who has believed in the way in which the Son of Man was lifted up were to perish, is what Jesus said above true?

2. Do you think a person who has not believed in the way in which the Son of Man was lifted up is already judged?

First off becoming born again is not a simple formula of words that we recite.
It is a gift from Jesus freely available to all who will:
believe in Him, (not just of Him) and the doctrines that He has presented
submit to His Lordship over all areas of our lives
and follow Him and His doctrines and teachings

I hope the following helps to elaborate.
Blesings to you Billy

2 Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

We all need to allow the true light of our Savior and Lord to shine in us, exposing our sin and deception. If we, however, hold on to any part of that sin nature, the darkness in us will prevent the light from shining through.

Matt 25:29-30 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Be careful therefore how you interpret the Word of God. To those who have the Spirit of God and are born again, much more spiritual understanding will be given. But those who do not have the truth and are not born again, from them shall be taken even that which they believe to have because it represents a lie.

John 3:5-7 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Those that deny the power of Christ is to follow after the commandments and teachings of men.
If you are forever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,
it is because the Spirit of truth is not within you (2 Tim 3:7).

Until you are born again it is impossible to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Once this new Spiritual birth occurs deceptive doctrines are easily observed and avoided.

The very first warning Jesus gives us regarding the last days is to ensure that you are not deceived (Luke 21:8).

Eph 4:30-31 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and blasphemy, be put away from you, with all malice:

Mark 7:9 Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

When we claim to be born again can it be real if we are unable to understand the fundamental doctrine of Christianity regarding our Salvation and when it occurs?

It is the Comforter that Christ sent that teaches us all things and prevents us from following the deceptive doctrines of men. Far too many confuse the tingling sensation they experience from an entertaining well orchestrated cinematic like production, at a building called the church, with that of the infilling of the Holy Spirit that comes upon the members of the church.

If any man does not have the Spirit of Christ or the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, he can not be of Christ. We must be transformed by Christ to put on the Mind of Christ.

1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Our Lord said, “the words that I speak they are Spirit and they are Life” (John 6:63). The teachings of Jesus Christ can only be understood when His Spirit dwells within us. When this transformation occurs then the claim of becoming born again is real.

We are to seek after the kingdom of God and His righteousness, in a continual and diligent manner, without ceasing. The reward that we seek should be that of our Redemption and Salvation upon our Lord’s return, not the deceitfulness of riches (Matt 6:20-24, 33, 13:22, Rom 8:23, Eph 1:13-14).

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

When one is transformed by the Holy spirit with a renewed mind, it is impossible to love the world any longer (Rom 8:23).

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Thank you sir. Let me put my question another way. If asked "what must I do to be saved", what would your answer be?

Please post the scripture that says a person who is cast into the depths of hell, is separated from the love of God, in hell?

My original question.

Can a person who is cast into the depths of hell, be separated from the love of God, in hell?

Does God love His sons who are cast into hell?

From the scripture 2 Peter 2:4

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 2 Peter 2:4

2 Thessalonians 1:6-9 since it is righteous in the sight of God to pay back those who are afflicting you with affliction, and to you who are being afflicted, rest with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels, with burning flame giving punishment to those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus, who will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,

1 John 4:8 The one not loving did not know God, because God is love.

God is love. Eternal Destruction away from the presence of the Lord (away from love) is the penalty for those who do not know God.

Matthew 7:23 And then I will declare to them that ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, ones working lawlessness’.

God loves the world of sinners, even if He must cast them into hell.

Even one of His sheep, who becomes lost, as a sinner.

Does God love His sons who are cast into hell?

This is one of those loaded (fallacious) questions (like 'have you stopped beating your wife') that assumes God casts any of His sons into Hell.

First, what Scripture says God casts His sons into Hell? Sorry, but 2 Peter 2:4 doesn't say anything about God's sons.

It comes from our topic and does not pertain to me yet it is formed as an assumptive, loaded question.

You make an assumption that God sends any of His sons to Hell in the question. Thus it's an assumptive (illogical) question.

The verse you posted doesn't say God sends His sons to Hell.
