How's your weather today, where you live?

i would like you tell me how you like it when cold water from defrosting snow feels on your head.i hate that.
What that feels like? Cold and wet.
But I love snowball fights. You gotta make sure your opponet will feel the wet and cold on her/his own head, too.
This winter I had a snowball fight against a 4 year old. I lost.

yeah its one thing to have fun with it. but another to sleep in it and work in it.ie car repair cause its cold and the tires need to replaced. i couldn't imagine doing that. i had to do that for the army.

It's 6:25 AM, 71 degrees, and a chance of rain, which we need.
I don't understand why you all aren't down here with me.

Been snowing the whole weekend and there's lots of snow. Now it's gonna get warmer the next week. That's gonna be a slush mess.

A lot of care is needed. When my wife and I went to church this morning, she nearly went down on the ice. When there's a bit of thaw, then it freezes again, it can be treacherous. My good lady was mercifully preserved anyway.

Yeah that's gonna happen. Thawing by day, freezing over at night. Already had that last week. I went down on the ice and broke the headphones of my mp3 player in the process. :sad

So sorry to hear this, Claudya. Hope it didn't hurt you too much, as opposed to the player.

I don't want my wife to break any bones...

The most painfull thing about it, besides losing the headphones, was that there were two guys walking behind me, and they saw it happen. So embarassing.

Well that's kind and caring of you! :)

I hope they offered to help you up from the ground...

Well, kind of obvious I would think this about my wife, anyway...

No they didn't. They were too far away.
I would have slaughtered them if they'd offered me help. That would have been like making fun of my misfortune.

Yeah i guess so. I bet she wouldn't want you to get hurt either.

Claudya: You are a very independent young lady, anyway... :)

Glad you were okay.

Thanks. :) But it's not a matter of independence, it's a matter of low self confidence and lacking emotional self control. Anger is what I feel most of the time every day and a tiniest bit (like slipping and falling on the icy snow) can make me explode. :sad

Kansas City: Sunny and 48. Tomorrow? Repeat of Thursday, only worse, so they say. Personally, I don't think this warm air is going to let that much snow fall. It will probably come down mostly as rain.

I wonder if the weather in Kansas City, Missouri can ever be different from the weather in Kansas City, Kansas? :chin

(I guess this applies generally and not just to the weather condiditions being reported.)

Since they are about 800 yards apart, no so much, though metro KC is big enough that thunderstorms and the like can pass through one segment of the city and not affect the other. I remember several years ago a slow-moving cold front kept the high at KCI down to 49, but at the south end of the metro that day, it reached 71. Go figure ...

Interesting... :) Ty for your intriguing comments...

I also reckon that even slight changes to the height of the land can make a lot of difference.
