I'm BAAACCCCKKKKK!!!!

So anyway handy, people are telling me that you're a real bigshot around here so let me ask you:
Should a pastor receive a salary?
What does the Bible say?

This is strange or perhaps it comes from a higher source? Earlier this week the thought of you went through my mind, Handy, and I was wondering about you and what you've been up to. And now, here you are again. Good to hear your voice or should I say read your print? Welcome back! :dancing

Mike AND handy are back? STOP THE PRESSES!
No, no.
Like this...

lol... people will say anything.
Sounds like a great topic for discussion, is there a thread on it somewhere? If we talk about it here, Reba just might come after us with the chair! While were talking about it, we could also address whether or not in this post-Christian and increasingly anti-Christian society, whether or not churches should remain tax-exempt.....

Well, since I think the idea behind tax exemptions/breaks is to encourage people and businesses to do something beneficial for society I'm guessing sooner or later the gov will have to decide whether or not what the church does is beneficial or not. Or perhaps the church at large is going to have to decide if what their tax exemption is allowing them to do is going to be beneficial to society or not.

Yikes, I hear reba coming.....:couch

lol... I think I'll generate a thread on the subject. I was just reading about mega-million dollar-churches and how their tax exempt status might be jeopardized if they refuse to marry gay couples in states where gay marriage is legal...and it does start with the whole idea of churches gathering money to support itself rather than to give to the poor and needy.... Yeah, if we get into all of that on this thread, Reba will have to bring in reinforcements! :lol

I'll post a link when the thread is ready.

WOW! You get right with it.
We'll have to start something.

Come on Dora, fess up. It seems no coincidence that I popped my head up a week ago after a long hiatus, and then you come round. Read the fine print of your stalking order. This is just as grievous as it would be to follow me around town in your car. I'll tell you again. I don't owe you $5!! You have the wrong guy! :)

Hey there you are. Missed you too brother. :)

Jethro Bodine I'll have you know after viewing that picture I washed my eyes out with soap, took a shower, viewed 1,000 pictures of puppies and kitties, and I still can't get it out of my head
