In Today's News

Everyone is inside a big prison. There is no freedom. It's an illusion.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36 NKJV

Stone walls do not a prison make,
Nor iron bars a cage:
Minds innocent and quiet take
That for an hermitage.
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone, that soar above,
Enjoy such liberty. Richard Lovelace

How can someone who loves and trusts God at the same time think man's security cameras watching there every move is so great and can protect them in the name of security?

For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Romans 13:4 NKJV

Defend the weak and the orphans;
defend the rights of the poor and suffering.
Save the weak and helpless;
free them from the power of the wicked.
Psalm 82:3-4 NCV

The strong are commanded to protect the weak.

Hey everybody, I just wanted to say really fast that there is no news today, but I hope that everyone has a wonderful rest of the day and God bless. :biggrin

I find it amazing how people are put on "terror watchlists". If there is enough reason to put someone on a terrorist watchlist there is enough reason to arrest them for treason.

Australia should build a wall.

Edris was born in Afghanistan. They started issuing secure ID to Afghan citizens based on biometrics. Its called SEEK (Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit). SOCOM now has a portable DNA tester that can be used in combat situations to quickly identify people of interest. DNA from IED fragments are put in a data base, and if it matches the DNA of a suspect, they are arrested. Several refugees that made it to the USA were arrested via DNA, and about 70,000 Iraqis.

These guys are allowed to walk free in the west because people don't trust their government. They are afraid if terrorist suspects can be deported or jailed without extensive proof, then regular citizens will also be jailed without proof just because someone didn't like the way they combed their hair. The drug wars and over zealous traffic enforcement have made people wary of police. Millions of people have been in jail or prison in the USA on drug charges. More people are in prison in the USA than in countries considered to be despotic police states. Even though the majority want things like marijuana legalized, meds like Midrin to be legal, and to be able to import meds from other countries inexpensively. This makes people afraid of putting too much trust, lest it be abused.

They should concentrate on protecting people from violent and property crime, then the majority will get on board. Earn the trust of people by protecting them from things they actually want protection from, and not bothering them over things the majority want to be legal. Then people will welcome surveillance cameras and such.

If someone has a terrorist organisation tattooed on them and brags about blowing up planes I would think that is extensive proof. Is that not conspiracy to commit a terrorist act?.

The majority of voters seem to disagree. They haven't been voting to build a seawall in Australia to keep the tattooed people out.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :) We have a really short report tonight so let's get right to it then shall we? :salute

First of all in tonight's news the daughter of a domestic violence victim wound up doing some quick thinking on her part after she called 911 to order a pizza. Here's more of the details. :thumbsup

And even though Thanksgiving is still a few days away the celebration started early when it came to helping five hundred people being served a steamy and hot Thanksgiving dinner. Here's more. :)

Also I'm not really exactly sure how to word this other than the fact that this is rather interesting. :chin

Finally in tonight's news a twelve year old colorblind little boy recently received a special gift that allowed him to see the world in a whole new way. :biggrin

That's all for tonight's news! (And I'm sorry that it is so late) Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes Oh and don't forget, it's exactly one week from today until my second annual "It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year" Christmas celebration! :biggrin2

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :)

I like the story about the dog keeping kittens warm. Cute.

Nice of that principal to give his student colorful glasses. They only work for some people, and are not supposed to be used at night or when driving. They do help some people who have a few red and green detector cells. They work by blocking some of the intermediate colors between red and green to optimize the contrast between the two colors.

That was funny when Elon demonstrated how his supposedly super strong window worked.

I'm glad that 911 operator figured out the code in that pizza order.

May the Lord bless you.

IF there was ever a verse added to the Bible, I think that would be it.......But that's a big IF.

Paul was probably talking to the church in Rome to obey God's servants and ministers at that time and who he sent like Timothy. Also Paul's word is not eternal.

People live in a expensive city and then cry poverty. At least they have a house to actually live in and some food. At the end of the week if you a sleeping in a bed under a roof and have some food your not in world poverty.
