You love cameras. What do you think of these ones?

I disapprove of those. The authorities should protect people from property and violent crime, not abuse cameras to enhance their revenue. There are better tax collection methods than that. That type of thing just makes people mistrust authorities, instead of cooperating with them to make the streets safe.

No wonder Kiwis hate cameras.

I agree with you that authorities should not abuse cameras to gather revenue under the name of safety and security. It is acturally a state in Australia that are doing it.

Just revenue gathering.

Its long been known that over zealous traffic enforcement is the fastest way to turn the public against the police. Australia will soon find out that abusing cameras for revenue collection will quickly turn the public against cameras.

People want to be protected, not fleeced.

Exactly, and the sad thing is police officers are just regular people like everyone else who are just doing there job.

Yes, there are a lot of nice police officers. They should be allowed to concentrate on protecting people without the revenue collection stuff, and the drug wars should be directed solely at anyone who sells to minors. More of the public will be on their side then. Perceive them as protectors.

I totally agree.

Oh my goodness. Does anyone remember the other week how I said there was bad bagpipes and a bird chirping and it was really frustrating disturbing my peace.

I'm in the same spot now relaxing on the deck and the bird is quiet and whoever is learning the pagpipes have improved majorly and now sound really good im impressed with how much they have improved they are actually in tune and key. I actually have peace. No bird blowing my ear drums out, and good bagpipes by some random person. The bagpipes the other week we're so bad I have never heard anyone play a instrument so bad and out of tune.

I don't like how the government says if you witness an offence you must report it by law...

That can put civilians at risk. Mobsters tend to bump off witnesses or target them for intimidation before the court date. Some witnesses are put in witness protection. They have to move to a different city, and never talk to their families again. Its a ticklish situation that needs to be handled with care, not heavy- handedly.

It would be joke of the month. If you place it realistically on a small scale, you pay taxes to spy on yourself so you can fine yourself when you make a mistake. That's what it is. Bit you don't get rewarded, the government does takes millions from it.

And it does not prevent anything, by the time someone is busted on camera and they receive a fine in the mail it's too late, if they were going to maybe, who knows, could cause an accident, as that is why it's illegal, and in the name of safety, it's already to late. It does not prevent anything. Just revenue gathering. Biggest scam ever.
California sells your DMV info .tags etc ,type of car ,and accidents and license info .

The so called war on drugs is a complete joke. Just like the establishments war on anything.

The amount of mind altering synthetic drugs the public are legally prescribed to by the system are just as crooked as illegal drugs. They are all mind altering.

The biggest drug dealers on the planet and it's a fact is pharmaceutical companies.

How crooked is it that someone prescribed by a doctor on mind altering drugs can legally drive under the influence as it's "not an illegal substance" yet anyone else gets arrested and thrown in a cage. All meds can have side effects or this and that. People on strong anti depressants and can drive and work, yet someone who smokes a cone of weed gets arrested or loses there job.

The double standards in this world are a joke.
Not true, you can fail jail if your prescription says don't drive.

Dui ,driving under influence is different then driving while intoxicated, dwi, unless you, give blood they can't prove what type or without a breathalyzer .

...legally prescribed...

There are lots of helpful legally prescribed meds out there. The problem comes when the DEA makes American meds so hideously expensive that people can't afford them. So they self medicate with whatever the can get ahold of affordably.
