In Today's News

The world needs an honest currency. Bankers are confiscating purchasing power from the average person's wage, thus needlessly impoverishing many.

The government takes about 74% tax on fuel that includes GST, so that is a tax on a tax, and Auckland City got hit with another 11.5% tax on top. That's a tax on a tax on a tax.

If you put $100 gas in your car (that's about standard a avarage fill a tank) , the government just took like $85. Lol.

I had no power for nearly two hours not that I need it or must rely on it. What were they doing why the power was out?. On a side note there was no chaos in the region. Not good for the local economy, that's a lot of business transactions stopped for two hours, im guessing that would be a few million.

Let's see what our forum power expert Mr jasonc has to say.

High posted lines can't repair those live.we had a boat take out one and it caught fire, power was out for a half hour ,mast burnt fast and ones it was below the line power was turned on,once the fd pulled it from, the danger that boat was derelict for months .I,was reading pepper tree when that happened.it was near a route i had today to read .I could have simply photo graphed it while working with my dlsr,I have put that in my work truck and took photos of a power plant .

They said one was down for maintenance and another tripped, and that can take out an entire region for hundreds of miles?. How does it trip the same time another line is under maintenance?. Coincidence?, Or does another line take all the current or whatever you call it and can overload when another is down?

You must explain the system of power.

Do I want to post the photos of sub stations ,he old sub 7,it went down and it took most of the grid with it .I,was at s restaurant and ,nearby, and was about to call Vero electric dispatch and noticed many, lights dark ,the light was near the restaurant it wasn't flashing .I,decided once I,saw 53rd,43rd and 58th out ,that they already knew .

Fpls tie in to Vero took,a dump, and Vero repaired it,they could have posted up sub 6 and switched off sub 7 and it would have not caused a boil notice ,power was out for a week, for some .it was weird .

Insurance companies probably don't enjoy power cuts as most business's and some people in general rely on it.
It happens .fpl charges contractors for mess ups. People used to shoot rounds at this one,it has a sub station 14107813_10208717090236412_6346321823552281533_o.jpg

No need for people to get violent and shoot rounds over a power cut. Just shows how much people rely on others if they feel they need to flip out. The cave man would be thinking how insane these people have become and don't appreciate nothing. People should appreciate what they have. Even the stone agers would have been stoked with just a candle.

The cave man and stone agers can humble people and put them back in there place.

No for a power outage just for fun .I,plan to photo an odd angle of that power plant from a a view I,saw today ,its replacent sub station has a concrete wall over 8 ft tall .fpl probably heard of that and decided to do that.the other sub stations that have don't have walls like that .
