In Today's News

She is in Wayne County Jail. She will most likely have to explain her actions to a judge, who may order drug treatment or a mental competency evaluation. They don't want her running free until they figure out why she did such a dangerous thing. Until they determine if she is a threat to herself or others.

I see,.. I guess that makes sense then.

I wonder how missionaries evangelize in such areas.

The point was firmly made and proven with evidence in the video. If a officer tells someone they do not have the legal right to walk down a public street and if you go there you may be breaking the law for breaching the peace, then it is conquered land.

She was allowed to walk down the street, just not to walk up to locals and start criticizing the locals' beliefs.

I am not sure how a soapbox evangelist would be treated in such areas. They are not criticizing others, but they are trying to convert locals to Christianity. The locals might object. I think missionaries have to hide their activity in some locales. Witnessing covertly. I remember one missionary speaking at a local church. He was trying to convince people in the church to go on a vacation there, and smuggle in cash on their person for them.

Right, not allowed to walk in front of the mosque. Everywhere else was okay, as long as she didn't confront people.

A street preacher would probably not have been allowed to preach in front of the mosque either. That street is indeed captured territory. People were yelling at her where she was. Preaching in that neighborhood would be a challenge for missionaries. Some locals seem to be violently hostile to the Gospel.

Uhhh.... probably won't get help either.

Jordan is rather...twice shy when coming to things like this. Yasser Arafat's fault from when the Palestinians tried to destabilize the Government of Jordan decades ago.
Jordan only dodged that bullet by giving the Palestinians the land that Israel took from them when they attacked all those many years ago. (The West Bank and Golan Heights)
And if this guy is stirring up trouble like what Egypt has been through...he isn't likely to see daylight for a long time.

Poor seal.

I am glad that you are feeling better. I felt like I was coming down with a cold before, so I gargled with Listerine, took a vitamin C, and then a nap.

Someone suggested that they buy goats in California to trim the foliage back somewhat. They do that in some other places, and it works.

That was nice of Haylie and Reagan to return that wallet. I also like that security system at the front door.

That's amazing that the plane was able to fly under a bridge before landing. I'm glad no one was hurt.

I hope you continue to feel better. May the Lord bless you.
