Those poor people in Venezuela.

I wonder how Spain is going to solve their drought issue. Maybe eat a few more vegetables or something. Desalinization is expensive and energy intensive. I'm not sure their pig industry can build enough desalinization plants, and import enough oil to power them, to supply their needs.

Finally in sports, The Cleveland Indians had a MAJOR victory yesterday as they beat The Baltimore Orioles eight to nothing during yesterday's game! :woot

I just wanted to make a couple more comments about today's report. It looks like eight is also a lucky number for Lucy, and after watching that video, I'm thinking that poor spider! :sad I might be more of a cat and dog person but I still felt really bad for it.
 
Its interesting how all of those eights lined up like that.

Then the Indians won by 8.

I wouldn't feel comfortable driving one of those electric scooters in heavy traffic.

I don't want any of those tacos. Yuck.

Lol! That's true, I didn't think about the Indians' score lining up with the story about the baby. And thank you, God bless you too as always. :cross (and I will most certainly not be ordering a spider taco! That is just so wrong and disgusting! :erm)
 
They should stop with the inflation already. With all that oil, Venezuela could be a prosperous nation. If only they had an honest currency so that capitalism could feed the people.
 
Those same comets and asteroids that put moisture on the moon help replenish moisture on the earth. Earth's gravity isn't quite enough to keep all of the moisture here. Some of it gets lost in space.
 
Terribly sad, tragic, that the body of Mollie Tibbetts has been found in Iowa.
I assume most likely she was killed by a male.
The fact of our fallen natures is revealed too often in our treatment of females by males.
