So who or what is doing the possessing?

Since the fruit is not good, well, it is not the Holy Spirit. I have seen clips of these services. Sounds like hell in there. Looks like it as well....people screaming. I read an article by a former pastor at the Toronto Blessings church and when he found himself rolling around on the floor singing sarcastically "Mary had a little lamb" he knew the spirit possessing him was evil. He left and eventually told another paster that the church had more trouble with back biting and jealousy after the "blessing" fell than before.

Angels are spirits.

They were created and have bodies. Demons were not created by God.

Where did they get those bodies?

God made them and some of their bodies are described. People were visited by angels and the BIble says so.

You really don’t know of any visitations by angels described in the Bible? You never read the account of Sodom? Really? You’ve never read where an angel visited Daniel? Or John when he wrote Revelation? Or Mary visited by Gabriel? I mean I can post these but it would be helpful to know if I’m dealing with someone who’s never read much. I would need to start very basic. (All those visits were by beings who had bodies. They weren’t disembodied ethereal clouds of a being.)

The account of the source of fallen angels is known. The account of the source of demons is not given. Jesus cast out demons, not fallen angels.

Now do you want me to give you the scriptures for the above as you’ve never read the biblical account of these?

Sharon osborne tells a story: I was sitting downstairs reading and ozzy came down in his underpants and said "weve been talking it over and decided you have to die" I said "who's we?" So ozzy jumps on me and starts to strangle me, ozzys eyes were black ozzy wasnt there - sharon tells the story another time leaving out the black eyes part.

Ozzy says: I woke up in jail and they told me I tried to kill sharon and I thought they were.........ummmm "cussword" crazy...

He didnt remember any of it.....

The devil uses ozzy until maybe one day they decide ozzys more use to them killing sharon where he can then really write diary of a madman.... I sure interest would of went up for awhile had he finnished it...

Ozzys also said that when a certain devil shows up I know I'm gonna get drunk that night - till he passes out

Listen to the ed bradley interview of bob dylan where he clearly lets him know in a sideways sort of way that he had help writing the songs and that he still tours to pay back (doesnt say devil but you know what he means) for his life of fame...

They believe they can never go back to God (Im guessing, or back to no devil as your friend) that the devil owns their soul....

There are none. So, let's not confuse the subject.
God providing a body for one of His elect angels is one thing but demons appearing in a body is another.

ONE in God's creation has a will that overrides God's Sovereign will.
Unless God gives permission to man or angel to do a thing it does not get done.
Free will in TIME is an illusion.
Note that Satan could do nothing to Job unless God gave the permission. And note the restrictions of that permission after permission had been given:

12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. Job 1:12.

And again:

6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. Job 2:6.

So, yes, Satan is an obedient servant of the Lord of Hosts and God Most High.

Demons and evil spirits are the attitudes of the mind.
They do not possess a body but are intangible.
God created angels and man. And demons, especially evil spirits and attitudes emanated from both Lucifer, his fallen comrades, and man. Ever had an evil attitude? Such an attitude that appears on your countenance? Surely, you've been pissed-off as Christian and when you were in the world? Where do you suppose those attitudes come from?

There's a reason why Paul said this:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Cor. 10:4–6.

There are only four spirits the gift of discerning of spirits discerns:

1. the spirit of fallen angels.
2. the spirit of elect angels.
3. the spirit of man.
4. the Spirit of God.

These four and no more.
