Is it dangerous to teach non-OSAS?

Whoa, I'm impressed Jethro, you start a thread to flog me, to bad you are so misinformed about what I believe, because I clearly stated in the OSAS thread #33 how one can know if they are born again or not, ...guess you didn't take the time to read that though.

Don't you think in all fairness you should go back and read what I believe and teach so that you can present the truth, ...then come back here and tell me/us who your spiritual father and mother are and on what day you were born again like Peter has taught us in his epistle vss 23-25.

This thread will be closed for moderator review. It looks like things have to turned into a debate and gotten personal.
1) Give other members the respect you would have them give to yourself. (ToS 2.4)
Address issues/ideas, not persons or personalities. Do not insult, publicly post derogatory opinions of others, post insinuation to belittle or discredit, or otherwise create a hostile environment. Present evidence for support or rebuttal during debate. Bashing the author of another view or opinion is not evidence.

Perfect example of what Paul said would happen,

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strife. 2Ti 2:23

So you believe that Jesus Could have chosen to sin against His Father? Jesus could have chosen to do evil?

Jesus could have choosen to do anything He wanted. Even tried to work a deal out at the end to keep from going to the cross. I am not sure what your asking, but He did not start out with fulll favor from the Father, and did not start out perfected to the place he arrived. He did everything pleasing to the Father. He counted on his works to know God would back all that He said and did.

His Words not mine.

Blessings.

I'm with you brother,

...I praise the Lord because He told me I'm in my Father's hand and I'm also in His hand that means I have two Divine hands of God holding on to me, ...ain't nutin' gonna snatch me away and that includes l'il ole me! PTL

Adam failed the test, Jesus passed it. One sinned, One could have sinned but didn't. Otherwise He could not be our mediator and help us out of temptations, or know how difficult this life is. He had to go through all that we did, only He stayed and remained sinless.

Praise Him for His work!!

Because of this and what He did, it will be worse for those who have known His greatness and then turned away from Him.

I'm an OSAS type, but I also believe in a healthy sense of doubt in one's views. We're human, our views are fallible, there's always going to be something we're wrong about. Being able to read up on and study other viewpoints is an important part of learning and growing.

This issue is a heavy one...there have been times I have lost sleep and lived in near terror over it. Funny thing, when the doubt got to be too much God has always been there to remind me that I belong to Him.

Agreed!

If I were to go by my experience alone, without any scriptures, I would be in the OSAS camp, as God has always drawn me back from my waywardness.

Later when I studied this doctrine, I see just how much God loves me and went to great lengths to draw me back to Himself and protect me from my own foolishness.

Praise His Holy Holy Name forever and ever!

Since God is now protecting you from foolishness, then best to listen to Brother Mike about the Pre-trib Rapture. You do want fully protected right?

I could not resist.

God delivered me from that false doctrine when I was a baby Christian.
