IS JESUS CHRIST GOD?

I do not know what the Roman Catholic church teaches on the Trinity as I am not Catholic. I'm not using the word "The" for Jesus, but that Jesus is the word of God sent down to earth, personified in the flesh to teach that of what God gave to be spoken to the Jews first and then unto the Gentiles.

To answer your question is Jesus Son of God, I already explained that in post #27.
That's why if we are an moderator or teachers or someone with authority it is good to know how the denominations believes are in some point so that we can answered and clarify things BIBLICAL. Go on YouTube and see: "The Origin of the Roman Catholic Church. Many people is thinking that all Christians is against the Catholic members. The real problem is the leaders of the church. Go and take a look for yourself.

Yes. Jesus is the Son of God.

He is the Lord God.

Why don't you not open a private so we can speak openly prive? And you can invite others also that are open for understanding why we believe the way we did it and if it is Biblical.

She is not of the antichrist Catholic Church.

Please refrain from making derogatory statements or you may lose your privileges to post here.
My friend I will LOOSE my live for the truth. And the truth is the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. Not manmade traditions and twister of the scriptures.

Scriptures that reference Jesus being referred to as God:
John 1:1-14; John 10:30; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8, 9; 1 John 5:7, 8, 20; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 3:17; 13:14; Isaiah 9:6; 44:6; Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:23; 28:19; John 14:16, 17; Genesis 1:1, 2 (cross reference John 1:1-14); 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 1:15-17; John 14:9-11; Philippians 2:5-8; Rev 1:8

Scriptures that reference the Holy Spirit as being God:
Psalms 139:7, 8; John 14:17; 16:13; Isaiah 40:13; 1 Corinthians 2:10, 11; Zechariah 4:6; Luke 1:35; Ephesians 4:4-6; Romans 5:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; Titus 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21; Jude 1:20
The Bible clearly states what God=. What Jesus =. What the Holy Spirit =. We don't need no other teachings what the =, is. The other is, is from Satan. Galatians 1:1-10.

I think that you don't know wat the word God means. I am human and my child is also human.
Jehovah is God, so Jesus is also God.

Please read John 10:34-35 "

Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;"

We are human. As Christians, we also have the divine nature in us.

Again you don't understand what this verses means. What did God says to Moses? What did Satan says to Eve? And also what did God says? Take the whole contends of the scriptures, not only one verses.

You can speak plainly here in the thread.

I know I will.

Why do you believe the Holy Spirit is not God?

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
1 John 5:7

What do you believe these three are, if not God?

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

What do you believe the Holy Spirit is, if not God?

Angel?
Man?
God?
Other?

Ok, you can tell what the Holy Spirit is from the scriptures.

God the Father = God

Jesus Christ = God

The Holy Spirit = ?

What do you say these three are?
  1. These three are one God?
  2. These three are one Spirit?
  3. These three are one Family

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

If me and you and another friend saw an accident. We must appear in the court, shall we be three in one, or are we are witnesses at the same spot?
God = The God
Jesus = The God Son and is automatically God.
Holy Spirit = Their Spirit, their own life. Their power, that's why it is everywhere. It is their breath/mind, something that belong only to them. And when we received their Holy Spirit in us, than ot isn't more that are speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit that are speaking to the one that are listening.

The Holy Spirit is God power. Can I write who the Holy Spirit is?

The Holy Spirit is God power. Can I write who the Holy Spirit is?
The Spirit OF God
For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Jesus HIMSELF despite what any others might state referred to the Spirit as another. The Father does/did not.
Father's promise=In the last days I will pour out My Spirit...
Jesus-“If you love me, keep my commands. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth.
Acts 2
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
Isaiah 42:1
"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.
Isaiah 61 as Jesus read from the scroll
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners

So the Father calls the Spirit His own. "My Spirit"
I believe Him.

If you agree that the Holy Spirit is God own Spirit than here we are surely in the same thinking. It is BIBLICAL truth.

I already know the origin of the Roman Catholic Church. No Christian should ever hate the Catholic members or any member of any religion even if we disagree with their church doctrines. Catholics view the Trinity pretty much the same way we have been presenting it in this thread. I do not hate you for being a Mormon, but do not agree with their two books of doctrines Joseph Smith wrote and deemed them divinely authoritive, but comes against the true doctrines of Christ for what He has already taught. I do study the doctrines of other religions to expose their false doctrines, but it's more for my own knowledge in case I need to talk to others.

I can only go by the doctrines of Christ as I study them and have no need of extra books that are not divinely authoritive as when I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach me then the truths of God's word is revealed in all truth.

Yes, but I would state the "Fathers" Spirit.
That would show why the one who sits on the throne in REV is the one Jesus calls His Father. Because Mary conceived by the Spirit OF God.-the Spirit of our heavenly Father

No mention of the person of the Spirit
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live

No mention of the person of the Spirit
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

The Father living in Jesus had to be by His Spirit. Jesus didn't state the HS was living in Him doing His work. He said the Father was living in Him doing His work

Jesus declared the Father the "Only" true God until one believes Him they will never accept that truth. I believe Him and state likewise. Like Paul One God the Father and One Lord Jesus Christ.

When did the host of heaven state "Gods" place will be with man? At the 2nd coming or when the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven.
Did you find God the Son, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit declared in Heaven? Or was the one on the throne declared God? The one Jesus calls His God as well.
In the days of the sounding of the 7th trump the kingdoms of the whole world will become the Kingdom of "God" and HIS Christ

Listen, Jesus was before Mary. When Jesus became Human it was for to die for our sin. Like I told you before, that you are talking everything literally how it is written in the Bible. But the spiritual things you cannot see. Are you thinking that the Holy Spirit has have sex with Mary? It is just a question.

You are viewing this as what is taught in your religion that God, as the Supreme Being of the universe, gradually acquired that position over a long period of time by living a perfect and righteous life and has a flesh and bone body. This is why you can not see that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit all equal God's Spirit as all three are co-equal as being God's Spirit.

1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1 John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Water in these verses means living water as in the living word of God, John 4:4-26; 7:37-39; 12:44-50; Ephesians 5:26; 1 John 5:5-8; Jeremiah 17:13; Zechariah 14:8, 9; Rev 21:6-8; Ezekiel 47:22

Jesus is word, light and life that is God transfigured in the flesh.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Gods Holy Spirit has come to indwell us and teach us. John 14: 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

It's all God's Spirit manifested in the flesh of Christ and the Holy Spirit being God's Spirit that indwells us. All three, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are existence, being, and life that make up the full Godhead. Can we comprehend all of this, no, as we can only know in part until Christ returns and then we will understand the full when we are with Him in the New Jerusalem.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

I Am who I Am. This name tells that God is beyond definition, comparison and no limiting name could ever be given Him. He is self-existent and eternal. Exodus 3:14; 6:2; Isaiah 40:28; John 8:58; 10:30; 14:6; 20:28; Rev 19:6.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily

Please refrain from telling others they have no understanding just because they do not agree with your understanding in how your church leaders teach you.
They also can say the same my friend, if you read exactly what the Bible says, and interpreted contrary the Bible, should I have to be agree with you? This is an example: Matthew 5:17-18. Jesus says think not, or don't think. But why the most Christians are thinking the opposite? The see it and read it and know it, but go against it. You all are thinking that the laws are done by the cross. Why don't just follow only Jesus?
God said REMEMBER my Sabbath and keep it Holy, but the most denominations have FORGET it. And now are keeping the Sunday Pagan SUN worship. Do you think that God is happy by breaking His Commandments?

I'm not a Mormon! I am a Seven day Adventist of the pioneers. My believe is in the foundation of the Bible and the church of the Bible. I am a Sabbath keeping person.

They are one and the same as Mormonism is the predominant religious tradition of the LDS movement started by Joseph Smith in Western New York in the 1820's and 30's.
