Is the Law of God dead? And if yes, how?

Not open for further replies.
I will end this argument with a very gentle and final question. You are hiding from it. Why JLB? Why don't we debate in front of a neutral jury. I have a whole host of charges and evidences against Paul as you have in his defence . If you do not have the courage and gumption and conviction to face a neutral jury and a televised debate, I will not ask anymore . Just say so please. I'm absolutely ready for such a badly needed debate
Summarizing my question and asking one LAST TIME: Sir are you willing to debate with me with a live audience and neutral jury

YES OR NO? please let me know .
If it's a NO, I'll never ask you again. And if it's a YES I'll admire you immensely:) And look forward to seeing you there ✝️ You choose the venue . I'll come there
But neutrality of jury I shall scrutinize.

Think about my debate request calmly. I'm off to bed ...finally at 6:09 am ! Need some rest!!!!😃
That was a torrid back n forth! Anyway the subject is worthy of sleepless nights. We both feel we are contending for the Lord. Good night/ day everyone. May the Lord be the witness between us .
I will always contend for the Lord ...until I breathe my last.
Look forward to a simple YES or NO.
many thanks in advance 🙏
Just to let you know again we do not have live debates in CF. To keep peace between you and JLB the two of you can take this to private PM and invite me to the PM if you so desire.

YES absolutely. paul came with the express purpose to destroy Christ's doctrine of loving compassion. He succeeded as well. He was the man predicted repeatedly by the Lord in the following verses( and many other times:

Matthew 7: 15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 16:6
“Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

He was repeatedly pointing at Saul the brutal murderous blaspheming Pharisee's coming deception. He did infiltarte the Church ytjrough a "vision" and took over the Church of Christ.
Im a very tiny human being Glory. I fought and fought for the Lord, but finally was defeated last night / early morning. I concede to everyone who believes in this man being an apostle. The Lord asked me to concede and back off. So I do/ did. He put my mind at ease after I has spewed all my venom out against this ravenous wolf, Saul the Pharisee. Totally juiced out :) Plus I lost as well. Too many against one man. TRUTHFREES gave me a piece of prudent advice and that TRUTH FREED me :)
I'll be spending more time with brothers and sisters who do believe this man was a false apostle. These ugly and heated arguments will not happen. It's not fair to 99% here who accept Saul as apostle while I completely reject him as one. So this time I made up my mind, as exhorted by the Lord that I will not argue my case, no matter how passionately I feel about this issue. the Lord says we have to leave the verdict about this debate to Him, for He is our judge.

If I'm blundering, may I be judged and punished by the Lord. that being said, I leave all in love and good wishes. All that juice /the acid of pure unadulterated hatred for paul, I shall not cast on anyone again. For all here love Jesus, and that's enough for me. God bless you all. I'm very very sorry if I hurt your feelings guys, JLB in particular, and everyone else 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for answering me as I do appreciate this. I will leave you with this to think about and I also hope you will not leave CF as many of us enjoy your contributions to the discussions. You are always very pleasant in your mannerism and truly do have a heart for the Lord and for learning.

Saul, before the Lord changed his name to Paul after his conversion on the road to Damascus where Jesus spoke to him was a Pharisee who spoke blasphemy against Christ Jesus and persecuted Christians to death by the very laws he followed, but was done out of ignorance for he had no knowledge yet of who Christ was. Paul knew the laws and no doubt lived by them.

I would like you to study Acts 9:1-31 about Paul's conversion and his fulfilling of the Holy Spirit.

I will end this argument with a very gentle and final question.
I realize the discussion has moved on but I just noticed a type-o in my reply to you that changed the intent
of post 855. In it, I said "There could be no such a thing as a "neutral jury", so fair and impartial debate would be possible. "
What I meant to say was "There could be no such a thing as a "neutral jury", so fair and impartial debate would NOT be possible."

Not that it matters as JLB said it much better than I, but I wanted to make that correction clear.

Les Feldick visited our church a few years ago and one of the things he seemed to stress was how we, not being of Jewish descent, should only be looking at Paul's gospel. And yes, he did in fact distinguish a difference between the gospel of Jesus and the gospel of Paul. This among other things gave me a very negative taste in my mouth for his theology.

One Gospel.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Indeed. One book, from Genesis to The Revelation, written about Jesus

[Psa 40:7 KJV] 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book [it is] written of me,

[Heb 10:5-7 KJV]
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

I believe you have always been passionate about the word of God as well as humble in your attitude in receiving truth.

I have enjoyed several conversations with you in the past.

I would ask that we can come to a reasonable, common understanding of what we believe to be the law (The Torah; first 5 books of the Bible written by Moses) and the law of Moses, ( the law of commandments, which included animal sacrifices, feast days, food laws… giving to the children of Israel by Moses when they left Egypt) so that we are not discussing two different things that are mentioned in the scriptures.

Thank you for answering me as I do appreciate this. I will leave you with this to think about and I also hope you will not leave CF as many of us enjoy your contributions to the discussions. You are always very pleasant in your mannerism and truly do have a heart for the Lord and for learning.
Thank you very much Glory for your kind words 🙏 They mean much to me...
I love CF too much to leave, but if you'd like to believe I wish to do whatever the Lord wills. HIS WILL BE DONE are words I'm obsessed with. Although oftentimes I may not be doing His will. So my ultimate aim is Lord I may not do ANYTHING which is NOT your will. NOTHING. That comes with a lifetime of practice and obedience. And I'm yet far from that, but will continue my journey towards that lofty and worthy goal :)
That being said, Lord wills me not to indulge in any kind of debate over Paul or anything really on CF because it ends in heated and often times ungodly arguments. Since 99.9 % here likely believe Paul is from Lord Jesus, while I staunchly and even vigorously believe he was from the devil, a spectacular divide has taken place between us followers of Christ.
And because that is the case we just cannot have any debate ( without fury) since we are on the opposite sides now-- Pro paul and Anti paul. One of the sides is definitely in fatal error.
The Lord provided a wonderful solution though-- again if you wish to believe friends. He told me "I AM the neutral jury you wanted, to judge which side is right and which is in error, about the authenticity of paul as an apostle "
So when I and JLB ( and some others) were passionately debating, for and against Paul , the Lord was witnessing and recording everything. That gives me a lot of peace Glory :)
Our words and the respective stands we took ( on paul with our respective arguments), are now recorded and sit in front of the ultimate Judge-- our Lord Jesus ( Matthew 25:31-46). Christ will pronounce the judgment on that day on this contentious issue (also).
Who can be a better and more just/impartial Jury than our Lord, and His host of holy angels? :) Justice at its perfection! We will know in ultimate clarity what transpired after Christ departed. I keenly look forward to that day --whichever way the judgment goes. Just exhausted with contending with an overwhelming majority of Christians, with my convictions about Pauline deception. Lol I'm always in a hopeless minority- less than one percent! :ideaI stand with every bit of that and await my judgment from the Lord. I look forward to that day.
Keeping in this mind you ( and other brothers and sisters, including JLB) will hopefully understand and appreciate that I can never have a peaceful discussion without ruffling feathers. paul stands robustly between Raj Sahu and all others who accept paul as a genuine disciple, thereby preventing/thwarting any peaceful discussions. The best option, says the Lord is then to TRUST HIM and await His judgment because we will go on endlessly arguing here on this piquant and contentious matter.
Praise the Lord, for, He has already entered as the Judge and jury on this issue, and now the matter rests with Him for His judgment.
I will accept his justice graciously -- even if it goes against me :) His Will MUST be done in EVERYTHING, including this.
Brother JLB, I have seen your passion for the Lord and His word and in the past, I have learned from you. It's unfortunate that paul stands firmly between us ( and thereby precluding any wholesome/ edifying discussion) and we cannot switch sides now. Too late for either of us, and everybody else.
I wish you well brother, and I wish the same to all here. Lord always tells me to Bless all and Love all. No exceptions, no excuses! :)

Bottom line: I will participate by learning but not contributing here on CF--- in light of all I mentioned above. Hopefully, you will appreciate my situation/ viewpoint, for, if a deception of this large a scale/ magnitude did occur ( in case it did at all in the first place! 😀), it will most certainly have a very deep impact and far-reaching consequence on the last day.
Lord's rich blessings and wisdom be with us all. lots and lots of heartfelt love to everyone ❤️

is there any way you can stay on the forum and have discussions with people who don't get upset?

i understand your position and there are many things we could discuss - if you don't read or reply to those who react to your position there are others who can have a peaceful discussion -

i have been realizing that i can have a great scriptural discussion without ever quoting paul - he's hard to understand any way - all other bible authors speak so much more plainly and profoundly - the same way God does

Sister Glory, I worked in the legal field. Often-times when people do not have valid identification, we used two CREDIBLE witnesses along with their current state-issued identifying documents to establish/ confirm their identities since on their own they have nothing to prove/ establish anything (especially their own Identities) . We did NOT go by stories and "visions" :biggrin2 but by witnesses who can be deemed CREDIBLE, after, they have established proof of their legally acceptable, STATE ISSUED identities. All this is done to PREVENT fraud and deception and make sure the public is protected from such acts of crime.
In the case of paul, the witnesses who "witnessed" paul's "conversion" were violent murderers of a LYNCH MOB who had murdered many Christians, brutalized many others, and PREVENTED hundreds , if not thousands, from being saved by PREVENTING them to come to Christ. Each of these will of course be judged individually on the last day, as we all will be. No salvation without judgment. Lord places value on each soul-- for all were made in His image....
Keeping these things in mind, I am afraid I'm in NO position to accept the testimony/witnessing of these bloodthirsty mob members on that fateful day who claimed ( if they at all did!:lol) of Saul's "conversion". You are most welcome to -- the Churches did anyways.
To confound their "witnessing" further there are THREE CONFLICTING accounts presented in Acts. Check 'em out Glory... all there in the book of acts :)
If you cannot, you are welcome to view my 40-minute video ( of diligently reached Verses-- I NEVER speculate but always provide verses, mostly of Christ Himself) on youtube about the dark and devious story of the conversion of paul, fraught with lies and deceit and UNASKED questions. Check my video ONLY in case, you cannot find the three CHANGING accounts of the " conversion" story witnessed by these lynch mob members, and enemies of Christ who were the "eyewitnesses " of the man who murdered Christ, along with His friends.... the other Pharisees. These are mentioned and asked by many Christians---"Why did the accounts of pauls purported conversion CHANGE?"
Being legally trained, I am in absolutely NO position at all to accept such "credible" witnesses. I would rather walk away from an assignment than accept HIGHLY DOUBTFUL witnesses. I have always sacrificed MAMMON (John 6:24) for duty. plus I'm super fearful of losing my job if use such "credible witnesses" as the Churches did!:idea
And this truth of accounts being changed is JUST the tip of the iceberg in the story that Saul presented to the Churches regarding this dramatic conversion ( that too in a flash! ;) from being the murderer of Christ and Christians to becoming the greatest benefactor of Christian faith.
There are many more highly questionable events there. I have mentioned and recorded ALL of 'em on my video, with concerning verses, and presented to the public and the Lord Jesus Christ, as MY LOUD protest against the genuineness of this 13th "apostle"
Keeping all this in mind I'm SO looking forward to the day of judgment-- when finally we will NOT have to debate anymore, vis-a-vis the truth of this apostle.

Finally: I know you are a kind-hearted person Glory🤗, I know that from the posts I have seen of yours :) I wish not to hurt you in any way --please understand that .. BUT, neither am I in any position to accept that what happened days after Christ departed--- it was very, very dark and devious.
I will accept either --Christ's accolades or condemnation--- graciously, but I am in no position to accept this man as an Apostle of Christ, especially with the shreds of evidence he presented :) It's all but a cruel joke Glory... And although I have tried to make things lighter, it is not funny at all

God is not overcome by deception - He is too powerful for that - the first deception in eden ruined the paradise lifestyle - it is a shame this happened but God can use anything to bring Himself glory - there are many present day and ancient deceptions that permeate christianity and other religions but don't despair - you can't right it - yet God can work His marvelous work despite it - when everyone reaches heaven they will see the truth - but right now don't despair - the deceptions can't defeat God no matter how pervasive they are - let those who are deceived hold to the little truth they have - it is sufficient - tiny bits of God's truth still win in the end over massive amounts of fraud - God is so amazingly powerful that way - the deception will remain - it is lodged permanently - that is the devil's doing - look away from that and fix your eyes on God - watch how He works powerfully even when His people are massively deceived - the greatness of our God is limitless

Amen, Amen, and Amen :nod.... well said brother, our God is greater than even the infinite universe. His spirit FILLS everything that is in the universe, Jeremiah 23:24
Correction about mammon in my previous post --it's MATTHEW 6:24 and not John 6:24. My profound apologies for the error. the word, mammon, KJV version uses is found in the Greek version. No other versions used it though. I read a lot of Biblehub translations and the Greek lexicon to make sure all is in sync. I recommned everyone to do that. The coming year, 2022, im devoting exclusively to studying the Red-lettered words of the Lord. I simply cannot get over them! 😊 when i study them its like Jesus standing before me and teaching... often times spanking me!😃
Thank you TRUTH ... 🙏

amen - red letters win - God wins - the glory of God can't be overcome - even a tiny bit of God's truth is sufficient for God to work despite massive error and darkness - God is truly amazing and Almighty - the devil thinks he wins through deception - he doesn't realize how nuclear dynamic a tiny particle of God's truth is

for_his_glory i was thinking that from now on when people quote paul exclusively as their doctrinal proof that i would ask them to confirm that with a 2nd biblical source - God said out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses is a thing confirmed - doing this would make paul's claims either provable or not - at the least it would get people out of 11% of the bible and into the other 89%

Here is a passage from Acts, where Luke is recording the words of Paul and Jesus.

Words of Christ in red —

So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance. For these reasons the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me. Acts 26:15-21

Amen . That's a very good point 👍 Never thought of that, in terms of the numbers you provided. Very true, very accurate, and Biblically sound in my humble opinion. Thank you for sharing it. Learned a new thing today :) Bible is so deep and an utterly inexhaustible source of divine wisdom. The more you study, the more it seems to expand!

Actually Luke is the one who wrote Acts under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Do you believe Luke was also in on this “conspiracy“, to deceive the Church into accepting Paul as an apostle of Christ?

Words of Christ in red —

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.
And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus. Acts 9:15-19

Luke also recorded the words of Ananias who the Lord sent to Paul.

Luke and Ananias confirm that the Lord appeared to Paul and sent him as a chosen vessel.

No credible witnesses to prove them.

We have Luke who wrote the book of Acts, recording the words of Jesus Christ (Red Letters) which He spoke to Paul (Saul).

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” Acts 9:3-6

We have Luke recording the words of the Holy Spirit, as the Holy Spirit sent Paul out with Barnabas as apostles for the work of the Lord.

Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said,Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.
Acts 13:1-5

So far the credible witnesses we have from scripture that Paul was an apostle of the Lord, being sent out as a chosen vessel.

Luke the author of the book of acts
Jesus Christ of Nazareth
The Holy Spirit
Ananias
Barnabas
Simeon who was called Niger
Lucius of Cyrene
Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch
John as their assistant.

  • Then there was the Church In Jerusalem, including the apostles and elders.

And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.
So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them.

Words of Christ in red —

But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:16-18

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. 2 Peter 3:14-16

Here Peter associates the epistles (letters) of Paul with the rest of the scriptures.

I personally believe Peter to be a credible witness.

How about you?
