It's always the devil with you!!

Okay I know I have a tendancy to blame everything on the devil or evil spirits. For example, I've been having an awful day here at work since I got back from mass (we had mass for the kiddos this morning)- just lots of stress and the back fell off of my chair- TWICE!! Plus I have to work on report cards for my specials teachers- and I KNOW those things come from the bowels of hell! LOL So I can't help but think that the devil or some demon is out to ruin my day. But really? REALLY??
Do bad things just happen for no apparant reason? or do demons actually get involved in minor irritants too?
What does Scripture say??

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Hebrews 12:7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons.

It depends, that which will only bring destruction to your life......demons That which will bring about a good change in yourself....God

Someone could be hit by a speeding car and end up in the hospital and it have nothing to do with demons, just an idiot bad driver.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Okay I just want to add some more evidence as to why I'm always thinking it may be demonic: I'm already having a bad day...big man accidentally hurt himself, the mattress that supposed to be delivered by 10 am didn't show up, and I couldn't get a hold of my parents when I needed to talk to them. So I went downstairs to do laundry and as I did I prayed- asking God that if anything negative was trying to ruin my day that this negativity would go away. So right when I came up I saw I had a missed call from the mattress co. I called them back and my delivery will be on its way. And my mom called me back with some good news that my grandma got a new cat. So is it coincidence?
Oh and I noticed everything went wrong after I came back from catholic mass yesterday....hmmmmm

Life is what we make it.

If one believes there's a demon around every corner, they will find a demon around every corner.

That reminds me of how my mom thinks someone's always giving her the "evil eye". The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree eh?

Spiritual realities are just as real as the tangible things we perceive with our five senses. There is more to life than what meets the eye; the natural eye that is. There are two realms running concurrently the spiritual realm, and the physical realm. Both realms are as real as the other. In fact, the spiritual realm is even more real because it is what I like to call the parent realm. In other words, everything originates there. What we perceive with our five senses changes and pass away, but spiritual realities are eternal, meaning they will exist forever. This is what makes the spiritual realm superior to the natural.

Now, whether or not you believe in a spiritual realm does not negate the truth that it indeed exists! It contains spiritual matter, beings, and activities that affect what goes on in the Earth. In the realm of the spirit, there are forces of good and evil, God and Satan, angels and demons. This may sound like something out of a science fiction movie but it is no fairy tale. It is real and taking place right now. There are two kingdoms in operation: the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness. In the first, Jesus Christ is Lord; the second is headed by Satan and his forces. The battle that rages on a constant basis is for the souls of men.

We have been conditioned to believe only what we can see, hear, touch, and smell; however, we must not forget that the spiritual realm is higher than the physical realm. All physical things originated in the unseen, spiritual realm, including all of mankind. We should keep in mind that we are spirits living in physical bodies, and the spiritual things we cannot see are just as real as the physical things we can see.

Amen brother, you've hit the nail on the head with this post. Take that post seriously Regina. I believe that after we cross over to live in the Spiritual realm permanently and learn of the things which took place behind the scenes (so to speak) here on earth, that we will be amazed at all of the unseen influences and activity from the spiritual realm that was (is) really happening.

The spiritual realm IS more real than our natural domain. We are spiritual beings on a human journey. This is why we are told to live for the spirit. We should learn all we can about the spiritual realm and walk in it daily, moment by moment because, we're told to, and it's reality. But remember!!! We have all authority over the demoniac, so don't be scared of them, take authority and have no fear.

Only you know what is going on in your life but if it where me that had this morning I would just chalk it up to very minor annoyances of life.
BUT I believe that when you prayed about them the Lord may have sent a special little blessing your way to make His much beloved daughter smile. :yes

Thanks Deborah. I wonder how many times God has laughed at my silly paranoia. It is such a comfort to know that no matter what nonsense I dream up, the Lord cares so much that He answers my prayers even as He sits on His throne chuckling. Kind of like when a child freaks out that one of their crayons is broken and mom or dad just grins at how such a small (and easily fixed problem) can seem so immense.

I know what you mean. He truly is Abba. He laughs with us, cries with us. Many times I have wondered why He puts up with me. Because He is Abba and that reassures me and makes me joyful to be His daughter. He's made me laugh too and caused me to laugh at myself. :)

I've wondered why the Lord puts up with me too, lol. I'm pretty sure that it's the love he feels for us all. I think that we would all be amazed to be able to see ourselves through the Lords eyes.

so close, so close and yet we fail to see that that a supposed physical creature can suffer pain, know, feel and see - twinc

Sin.....Bad things sometimes happen for God's reasons.Sometimes we do not understand why.We just need to keep on our full armor Ephesians 6:13-17.

What do you mean?

What do you mean?
2 Corinthians 4:18 Amplified Bible (AMP)

18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

Colossians 1 Amplified Bible (AMP)

15 [Now] He is the [o]exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation.

16 For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.

17 And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).

18 He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].
