It's Official, The World Is Going to be Taken Over By Robots

Wouldn't that be great. A robot to do the laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc...

Yeah, although I would personally love a robot doing all my work for me, you have to take the possibility that it could break into account.

No people come to my house to wash my clothes Jason. A personal robot to do household chores and maintenance would be wonderful. Especially as people get older.
It would be sold as all washing machines makes ones life easier for the lady.
I do see old ads from,the 30s.

It won't just be that.we pay people to baby sit dogs during work hours .why even have a dog ?

I think that if The United States of America had an army of robots defending it it would save a lot of human lives.
And the army who beats them won't kill humans ,in,fact an episode of that was made in star trek.drones can be modified to kill you from,a bove, and no easily counter has been made im talkimg about your typical drone

Air Force is moving in this direction. Next gen fighter planes are supposed to work without a pilot. They already have drones doing reconnaissance, so people don't have to be at risk. Army is developing robots to clear mine fields, so soldiers can stay safe. Israel has robots patrolling the border, to keep terrorists out.

They do too. Imagine having to take your laundry down to the river, and beat them against rocks to clean them like in days of yore. Nowadays you just put your laundry in the machine, and push a button.

Yeah but she still makes me feel like she had to go down to the river and beat the laundry on a rock.

Jesus is coming soon.
Hi PZ,,,
I've missed you and are happy you're back.
I agree with you...
I also believe Jesus MUST come back soon...
For more reasons than the bots...but that's a good one too.

Yesterday my two grandaughters were over.
The 17 year old has this little phone box thing growing out of her wrist. She's always clicking some stuff on it.

That was bad enough.
Yesterday I heard her from my kitchen SPEAKING to Cee or Cia.
She was speaking to her phone! You think that's bad?
It was answering her!

She told Cia "thank you you're so helpful"...
Cia thanked her back and told her how well mannered she is.
:confused2

We're getting prepared for the bots.
Learn to speak to them.
Learn to trust them.

Young kids can hardly have a conversation these days...
They speak in SMS language.

So, yeah...it's about time I think.

The latest report in robots taking over our planet is that apparently machines are now giving our pets the ability to speak to us. So I guess we can learn to talk to the animals after all.

Actually, this is pretty cool.
Nothing to do with robots....
A Gorilla was taught to speak in sign language about 30 years ago.
It can be done....

The Russians were experimenting with robotic tanks in Syria, bur they kept losing contact with them in urban settings.

The Russians were experimenting with robotic tanks in Syria, bur they kept losing contact with them in urban settings.

National Interest said:
Unlike high-flying drones, remote-controlled vehicles are susceptible to having their control signals disrupted by hills, buildings and other terrain features. During field-testing in Syria, this caused Uran-9s to suffer seventeen lapses of remote control lasting up to one minute, and two events in which they lost contact for as long as an hour-and-a-half.

Those were just remote controlled toys. Real robots don't need to be run by humans. They think for themselves.

Russia is interested in robots because they have a serious manpower shortage. Their population is shrinking, and the Russian army is a very unpopular career choice with the majority. A robot army is mostly wishful thinking on their part, at this time. Some day, maybe. That day is not today.
