-God holds us accountable for our deeds.
JLB
God holds us accountable for our deeds, and He holds Jesus accountable for our sin. (If we are born again).
Isn't that a unique situation?
Such is the case and the wonder of the CROSS.
And a person says...."yeah, but, if you believe that, then you are giving yourself a license to sin".
And a person responds....."absolutely not"......but instead, im giving Jesus The CHRIST the credit for my sanctification, justification, redemption, atonement, and salvation".
I simply refuse to take any credit away from the God of the universe, the Father of all creation, and the ABBA of The Christ, and come on a public Christian forum, and actually try to lead people to believe that i am responsible for God's Grace.
I would not , ever, presume, against the Blood of Jesus, by pretending that im in charge or responsible for keeping myself saved.
NO NO NO.
I wont be the one here, or on any Christian forum, or in any pulpit, verbally or otherwise substituting my own self righteousness for the Mercy of God.
Not as long as there is a God, a Cross, and a Savior who are all listening to my intent and watching my thoughts.
So, in that case, I'll continue to give my Savior and KING all the credit He earned on the cross, and will never ever do despite to the Spirit of Grace by claiming that i have to do anything to save myself, or keep myself saved.
I know who Saves, and i know how He did it., and i can assure you that He didnt need my help on the Cross, or after it, to get me to heaven,...... not me, or anyone else.
Then a joker says...."but if Romans 4 is true, and God does not imput (hold a believer accountable) any longer for their sin...
If that is TRUE.....If the bible is not LYING......then what about all those "works of the flesh", that we could commit.
Do we just get away with it?
Umnmmmmm HUMMM.
Are you kidding me?
Listen up, .... it is a fact that we are no longer under the law , and therefore, cannot be judged for our sins, as this is a part of the finished work of Jesus on the Cross......"we are REDEEMED from the curse of the law".....which means we are free from the JUDGEMENT DUE US for our sin, = AFTER WE DIE.
However, ither before we are saved or after.....if we participate and willfully so in "works of the flesh" behavior, then a spiritual law comes into effect..
"Sowing and Reaping"..
And this fact of God's dealing with us, means, that we will suffer on the EARTH, for our behavior, or we will be blessed by it.
"Choose this day whom you will serve."...God or your flesh.
So, it is a fact, that the Blood Atonement cannot be removed from you if its has been applied, but, if a person, subsequent to salvation decides to fall back into the world and wallow in the pig's den of the flesh, then they will find themselves dealing with Hebrews 12:6, sooner then later.
And this scripture comes into effect anyway, on behalf of all the born again, but it comes into effect much worse, if a believer will not stop backsliding.
And by the way...."backsliding" in the New Testament sense, if only applicable to an eternally redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb Son of God, as only an eternally redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb Son of God can do it.
See that?
So, if they wont stop with their flesh and carnality, then they will eventually become a victim of a seared conscience, and as Paul says,.."they will die".
Thats how it works.
Christianity is not tinker toys.
Its actually not simply fun and games and goosebumps and being entertained by the "worship team" on Sunday morn.
So, Just how serious should you take your relationship with God??
= Just as seriously as Jesus suffered and died for you, so that you could have this eternal relationship with God, as That is how seriously God esteems His Gift of Eternal Grace.
