More potential arguments vs the Bible

Scenario: An athiest investigated ex Christians beliefs and asked what they thought they had against the Bible. Here are some arguments:

"So, if we accept God's Gift of salvation that He offers to all, then we are doing a WORK!! ACCEPTING is the work!
Or, is free will gone at some point??"

"If God is not the Author of confusion, why did He confuse the Babel people's language! And then explain Genesis 1:2! "

"If God desires ALL to be saved, then why did He harden pharoah's heart??"

"Can God make a better way to be saved than by the Gospel He laid out in the NT? If not He would not be Omnipotent, and if He could but refused to, would He be morally bad? Again, your Book says that HE DESIRES ALL TO BE SAVED. All! Btw, better way means more quantity of people saved!"
Free will is a myth as all things have a cause.
God does desire that all men are saved and Will be saved and why do you think God will not save Pharoah?

uhuh. Everything is an idol, except the Bible.
So you agree that they can dress up, right?

Satan masquerades as an angel of light. If he can do that, he can sure make believe he is a dead human.

whats this mythical free will you mention
please explain what it is and the scriptural support for it
Try Genesis where adam and eve intentionally rebel against God.
Were they programmed to? No.

You contradict yourself as you must use freewill to say it is false. Irony.

Do you really believe we are just robots who will "just do stuff anyway"?
Justice would be irrelevant if what you say were true.

Free will is a myth as all things have a cause.

You just disproved yourself. Freewill in humans was caused by God. End of story.

But this could be used as an argument against God's Omnipotence.
Then you could say "Ah, but it could contradict an Attribute of God, if done by any other way. And God will never go against Himself."

But then they could say, "WHICH Attribute(s)?"
Then: "Any."
Hey All,
Omnipotent - all-powerful
Omniscience - all-knowing
Why would God argue against His attributes?
Did God know how Pharaoh would respond?
Yes. (Omniscience)
God did not go against Himself.

Keep walking everybody.
May God bless,
Taz

"So, if we accept God's Gift of salvation that He offers to all, then we are doing a WORK!! ACCEPTING is the work!
Since when is "accpeting" a work?
"If God is not the Author of confusion, why did He confuse the Babel people's language!
To scatter them off so they can fill the earth. In another word, diversity. Babel was a fascist totalitarian regime like the 1984 dystopia, ruled by Nimrod who was directly challenging God, that cannot be allowed to exist as much as Nazi or Imerpial Japan cannot be allowed to exist.
"If God desires ALL to be saved, then why did He harden pharoah's heart??"
Obviously not "all", God saves those who WANT to be saved. In the end both the Beast and the False Prophet are beyond redemption, they are thrown into the pit of hell. Pharoah was an antichrist figure who resisted God just like the Beast, he doubled down after each plauge, so don't blame God for his hardened heart.
"Can God make a better way to be saved than by the Gospel He laid out in the NT?
Nope, nobody and nothing else can absolve you from your sins by taking your sins upon themselves, only Jesus did.
If not He would not be Omnipotent, and if He could but refused to, would He be morally bad? Again, your Book says that HE DESIRES ALL TO BE SAVED. All! Btw, better way means more quantity of people saved!"
Not all know the true God, most worship a false god with no saving power at all. Salvation is not forced, it must be consensual.

The Bible easily answers these objections and all others. If atheists are as open minded as they claim, they might consider believing if they heard the gospel applied correctly.
"So, if we accept God's Gift of salvation that He offers to all, then we are doing a WORK!! ACCEPTING is the work!
Or, is free will gone at some point??"
Human beings are born with a conscience that can learn. Asking forgiveness is a work. A work both God and His Son commanded all to do. Our Savior also commanded us to honor Him by caring for His creation and loving others . What's the problem?
"If God is not the Author of confusion, why did He confuse the Babel people's language! And then explain Genesis 1:2! "
Because the people building the ark were all related by Noahs' 3 sons, Shem, Ham and Japeth. Hams kids (and some of his brothers' kids?) got into sin, so a family member who loved God went to the building site and told them to come back to faith in God. Enough listened and lack of "manpower " pun intended) halted building.
Liberally minded people can understand how people who have difference of opinion can be said to @speak a different language.
"If God desires ALL to be saved, then why did He harden pharoah's heart??"
To come to God, a sinner musy humble himself. Any free thinker would think it absurd to send a nobody like Moses to man who was worshipped as a god by the Egyptians. Pharaoh probably laughed to begin with because his heart was hardened by living a life of opulance.
And side note: Atheists are not excused from damnation for believing false teaching. It is the unbelievers responsibility to examine scripture for themselves and remember even the scholars have been proven wrong.
Not unless you think there's something greater than the love a parent has for his children.

Take the person you love most in this world. Your loved one comes in peace, but is hated and crucified for no reason. You are standing at the foot of the cross. Wicked people are jeering and spitting. They tell their victim to come down.

Point is, Jesus lived the mercy and patience God shows sinners every day. If the Messiah had said to those taunting Him "Go to hell", they would have.

So mabye God, in His Omniscience, knew that even if He softened his heart, he would still willfully misuse his freewill. So basically God gave pharoah what he wanted.
The refusal to accept the Lord , resulting in the hardening of the heart is a biblical principle that has never ceased to this day.
What happened to Pharoh will happen to people this day, 7/23/2024.
The majority of people who accept Christ do so before 30 years of age .
As is always the case this principle of the hardened heart is melded to other biblical principles.
This one being directly connected to the admonition of Jesus that God must be accepted into the heart as a " little child" accepts things just as trusting in their Father or Mother.
The older we become and the more we refuse the Lord the harder becomes the heart .

Luke 18:17
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Obviously not "all", God saves those who WANT to be saved.
Timothy renders this belief false.
God DESIRES ALL to be saved.

1 First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made in behalf of all people, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Nope, nobody and nothing else can absolve you from your sins by taking your sins upon themselves, only Jesus did.
This doesn't answer the question.
The Q didn't ask, "Could someone else save us from sin".
What the ask really was:
"Can God make a better way to be saved than by the Gospel He laid out in the NT?
And its "defense" :
If not He would not be Omnipotent, and if He could but refused to, would He be morally bad? Again, HE DESIRES ALL TO BE SAVED. All! Btw, better way means more quantity of people saved!"

What's the problem?
It's that "works save" is false. Faith through Grace, no Works

Where is this in the Bible? The question asked about Babel, not the ark

The ark was built and it survived the planetary flood.

examine scripture for themselves and remember even the scholars have been proven wrong.
:amen

It's that "works save" is false. Faith through Grace, no Works
It's the work our Lord performs in us as we listen to and walk in unison with His Spirit.
Where is this in the Bible?
The good news of salvation by faith in Gods' Son is explained in stories and instructions from Gen.-Rev. The gospel really begins in Genesis. The things God said to Eve, Adam and the devil are explained in the NT as referring to Christ and His church.
The question asked about Babel, not the ark
I know. The builders were descended from Noahs's sons. Noah was from a believing family which included Enoch. Adam and Eve might still have been living when Noah was born. They spread the message that Messiah would crush all evil. I'm a believer in Him.
The ark was built and it survived the planetary flood.
The ark is a picture of being in Christ and we survive because of Him.
The most important thing to remember is God doesn't hear insincerity. Study is fruitless without faith.
