My friend said I should look into this so here I am lol

It's funny how Christians like to quote Jeremiah 31:31-34 as if it's written to the church, chapters 30 and 31 is one oratory to Yudah and Yashar'el. And if you read the Hebrew it is a Renewed Covenant, except now the Covenant is written on the heart and not sapphire stones.

Yes renewed covenant. The Abrahamic Covenant was renewed and now is the New Covenant.

It is written to Israel; the Israel of God.

Remember these two things:

  • The Lord Jesus Christ made covenant with Abraham.
  • Abraham was a Gentile; a Syrian. A type of the one new man, being both Gentile and Jew, or if you will, being neither Jew or Gentile.

Through Isaiah He says it this way —

I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles
, Isaiah 42:6

Jesus Christ is our covenant, just as He was Abraham’s.

No, our understandings are not the same. Jews are physical decedents of Jacob, plus those who have formally converted to Judaism. Gentile believers are those from all other nations who have accepted Jesus as Messiah and are grafted in (Rom 11) to the cultivated olive tree of Believing Israel.
This would refer to the tearing down of the dividing wall.

If you read all of Romans 14 you will see Paul is talking about food and fasting days. He wrote Romans from Corinth and they were having similar issues....the Pharisees in the Gospels talk about fasting twice a week and wanted to know why Yahusha and His Disciples didn't fast.
Welcome Eltequa.
Nice to have you aboard.

That Colossians Scripture is taken totally out of context and means exactly opposite of what you claim.

Please give the Scripture, book, chapter, and verse where God changed the Sabbath to sunday ?
The Sabbath is from dusk Friday to dust Saturday. You, I and everyone you know has violated it. It is punishable by death. We do not believe it is in force any longer by the Scripture I posted, you believe I took it out of context and it is in force. Therefore, if you are correct, who can be saved? I hope you are wrong sir.

The Renewed Covenant is the Sini Covenant the one broken by Yashar'el, you know the 10 Devariym/Commandments. Jeremiah chapters 30 and 31.

So you don't believe the 10 Commandments or Isaiah 56:1-9, or when Messiah said; heaven and earth will pass away before one yod or tittle of Torah passes away....Matthew 5:17 or 18, in that vicinity if my memory is correct.

No sir.

Please use scripture itself to make your point.

“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. Jeremiah 31:31-31

  • not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt

The law of Moses was always temporary.

The Abrahamic Covenant is what the law of Moses was added to, UNTIL the Seed should come.

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
Galatians 3:16-19

By saying “until”, the Holy Spirit is indicating the law was temporary.

We believe in Christian law sir, of which nine of the 10 commandments, as well as some other laws of the Law covenant are. Jesus was the end of the law Rom 10:4.

I am not opposed to you observing the Sabbath law, but of course like Paul stated, I am opposed to those who judge others for not observing it. I do believe however that if you have made the vow in your heart to obey it, then you should be willing to accept the penalty for violating it, don't you Eltegay? I am very much opposed to hypocrisy.

The Sinai Covenant was broken and the Covenant was written on Sapphire stones it is now Renewed and now written on the Hearts of Yahs Children as stated in Jeremiah 31:31-34 the Abrahamic Covenant NEVER was Renewed and NEVER BROKEN. YAH fulfilling the promise of the Seed of the Woman and making Abraham the father of many nations.

I wonder if some gentiles have a clue as to what they owe the Jewish people.

The Ezekiel scattering of the Jews that mourned over the sins of Israel:
Spoke of God in those Nations they went to
Took some of the nations people with them to Jerusalem to worship yearly.
God blessed the nations that listened to the Jews that sighed over their sins.

By the time Paul (a Jew) went to the nations with the gospel, they had 400 years of hearing about God.

The Jews have several types of information:
The oracles of God
Hidden things of creation
The law of Moses
The weightier things of the law
Contact messages from God
The prophets telling what would happen
A Jewish Messiah
Much more

There are times when the New Testament needs the Old Testament so one can understand.

Beware gentiles (of which I am one) that we get too high minded.

Hypocrisy ! Please name the Renewed Covenant book, chapter, and verse where GOD did away with the 7th Day Sabbath that has been in Place since Genesis 2:3 which God made that day HOLY.
Romans 10:4...For Messiah is the "Goal" of Torah for Righteousness to everyone that believes.

Matthew 5:18...For Truly, I say to you, till Heaven and Earth pass away not one yod or jot, will pass from the Torah/Law until ALL is accomplished....the earth is still here Messiah hasn't returned and the resurrection hasn't happen.

The Sabbath law did not become a requirement until the law covenant sir. It was one of the laws God released us from under Christian law as shown by Col 2:16,17.

Since you violate the Sabbath, are you willing to accept the punishment for it by law Eltegay?

As I said before you take Paul's comment out of context...Paul is telling pagan converts, DO NOT let your pagan family members or your pagan friends judge you concerning keeping the Sabbath, the Moediym/Yah's Feast, Obstaining from things that you know are sacrificed to IDOLS,..

Abraham keep the Sabbath...Genesis 26:4. The Feast and Yah's Commandments.

Might you provide Scriptural support for your comment of Abraham keeping the Sabbath sir, but please answer my question of why you violate it regularly, but promote it?

Genesis 26:5....

No mention of Sabbath keeping in Genesis 26:5... which is why you didnt post the actual scripture.

Here is the first time we see the Sabbath mentioned in scripture.

430 years after Abraham died.

Then he said to them, “This is what the LORD has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’ ” Exodus 16:23

You're being intellectually dishonest and you have forgotten God made the 7th Day Holy in Genesis 2:3.
