So let me get this straight. If you saw a big man with 6 fingers, your caution radar automatically comes up because he "might" be a Nephilim?

How then do you tell if he really is a "Nephilim"? Can you trust anything he says?

Difference between a Leper coming close and a big man with 6 fingers is that there is a chance of getting a disease from the leper. Your not in any physical harm from a big man with six fingers. I try to stay away from people with colds too... That's not discrimination. Discrimination of a Leper is when you say, "Your a sinful person, that's why you got the disease". Discrimination is when we look at the outward appearance of somebody and make a negative judgment based on their physical trait.

Edward ,
I'd like to see you post the passages from the Bible for the demons who beat the pulp out of anyone sending them run naked...

As far as Canaan, I'm sure we would disagree there too.

What I hear you saying is that inviting anyone who is big and has 6 fingers to dinner is like inviting the devil to dinner. If I am hearing you incorrectly, please forgive me.

For the record, if I saw anyone who is big, small, tall or round with 6 fingers or any other deformaty, I would think no less of them as being a child of God, or having the potential to accept Christ in their life and become a child of God. Nowhere in my thoughts would I consider them as evil or fallen simply based on their physical stature.

You can't love others as yourself if you believe they are fundamentally different from you. People have been dehumanizing other people throughout history, and justifying discrimination in the name of caution is just veiled insecurity. Discrimination can also be justified in arrogant ignorance, as was the norm in Jesus' day with regard to Jewish men vs. Gentile dogs.

How can you tell if a big man with 6 fingers is a Nephilim?

Is there a difference between a big man with 6 fingers and a Nephilim?

I don't have a problem with you disagreeing at all.

As I've told others, it's when one's interpretation of a passage pits one group of people higher as another. For example, the Mormons us their own book and combined with the Bible and their book they deem that the mark of Cain is seen clearly through the Negros. In their eyes, Negro's bear that mark and as such, blacks are not allowed to hold any office within the Mormon community simply because they are looked upon as lessor in stature.

Likewise, I've heard people say that if a big man with six fingers or six toes came into their church, they would have suspicions over them, as the Nephilim have no place in heaven. Thus, it could be said that a big man with six fingers of six toes would be looked down on based on his physical traits and in my book, that's discrimination.

To finish my rant, I can say that I've seen seasoned Christians who thought higher of themselves than they should to where it is reminiscent of a Pharisees who stands on a corner praying, "Thank you God for not making me like the prostitute or tax collector", in which the Pharisees completely lost his mission for God, which was to be a light, not bring more darkness into the world.

I don't know what the higher and lower that you are talking about. That is the ways of flesh. The ways of man. We just have different points of view. It is also not my place to judge a nephilim if I come across one:-). That is up to God.
