vic C. said:
I then provided much scriptural evidence for teachings against judging another’s faith. I never used the word hypocrite. Vic did. Those were not my words. I said it may be wise to understand how your actions line up with scripture.

Of course, I had the response that somehow I pulled those scriptures out of context, and they do not apply to modern Christians. It is ok to judge another’s faith.
Yes, I did use the word hypocrite. That was clearly the intent of your post. No one pulls out verses like those if they weren't quick to point out someone's hypocrisy. It's bad enough when Christians do it; it's wrong for someone who's not spirit-inspired to pluck scriptures out of context and use it as prooftext against us. You were using them as a means of judging us and at the same time, telling us it's wrong for us to judge.

That's hypocritical. Rationalize it any way you want. :-?

Now I respectfully request we drop it and get back on topic please.

It clearly was not the intent of my post.....

vaultzero4me: You cannot biblically support your rejection of the TOE unequivocally, yet I can cite verses against you judgements on fellow Christians.

The literal meaning of my words imply that she can not fully support the notion of a weak christian for a TOE believer, yet I can scripturally show where the bible speaks out against judging another believer.

That is not making any judgments on her faith. Just laying out support against such actions. There is no value judgment implied by me of her person.

I do not recall using the terms "Lukeware" or "Young" (young implying less understanding of the faith and scriptures, unless I missed the true implication. ie correct me if i am wrong Grace.) Those would have been value judgements.

I will gladly drop it.

 What the bible says about people that proclaim that they are Atheists.... Romans 1

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

You are denying his existence so as not to obey him.

MATTER IN MOTION
1. Is the material reality the only reality (are we just material creatures in a material world and nothing more)?
2. Is reductive materialism synonymous with reason and science? Why?

AFTERLIFE
1. What happens after we die?
2. Do you KNOW there is nothing more beyond death? How?
3. Isn’t the Christian’s hope for heaven a better bet than the atheist’s hope there is no hell?
4. If God does exist as Biblically revealed, would hindsight on Judgment Day render Christians inappropriately prejudiced or gullible?

SUPERNATURAL
1. Is there a supernatural realm, a reality that lies outside sense perception and outside the reach of modern science? If not, how do you know?
2. Is God a byproduct of wishful thinking? Why?

1. The Bible is not wrong. Men are? And nowhere does it say in the Bible the Earth is 6000 years old.
2 God is a spirit. Natural man does not have this spirit. It is given. Faith to believe is from God. We don't have to prove this faith or our believe in an ALLMIghty God. WE know it is true because we have his Spirit. They don't.
3.Men do terrible things because they are sinners. Often in the name of A god they do not know. Religion is useless and ugly without his Spirit as men without his Spirit are unable to understand and so many use Religion to TELL someone How to live, what to do, ect. Control, over others, sought after by men without his Spirit in the name of Religion stinks. This is not the Gospil. The gospil is all men need a Saviour and he is Jesus Christ the Lord.
