Revelation is a Lie?!?

Yes, Jesus will come again. Yes there is a period of the Mark of the Beast, where normal social activity is excluded. Yes, Jesus will stand outside the gates of his own church. Yes, there will be a New Heaven and a New Earth.

Actually, I believe Jesus already has come again, and is among us. The "last days" if you will, come in each generation to test us as Christians, before we are raised again. The "Mark of the Beast" occurs whenever the state takes over completely. It happened under Communism, it happened under Nazis, it is happening again (COVID masks and vaccines). However, the Revelation prophecy is actually a big hoax against Christians by Jews and Romans.
The HyperTexts John of Patmos: Errors, Contradictions and False Prophecies
Hint 1: Much of it is written more like Jewish literature. Case in point, the 30 minutes of silence? Something Jews would know about as it is when the incense is burned in the Temple. (Largely Gentile) Christians would know literally nothing of this, but any Jew would be able to explain it. Ditto for many of the strange prophetic images.
Hint 2: Jesus in Revelation (his name might as well be in scare quotes) is depicted as holding an iron rod, and called a "morning star." That's the name for Lucifer, the false light of the world. Also, the iron rod is a depiction of absolute power. Iron is forged by warlords in weapons of war and destruction. "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors. But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves."
Hint 3: The intense brutality of this 'Jesus' against sinners. Yes, the secular world does some seriously bad stuff, as consequence of their decision to be ruled by kings and not by God. Yet God allowed them to do this. Yes, there may be a breaking point. But this action and its responsibility is to struggle against the "powers and principalities" not "flesh and blood." The state of Babylon will indeed fall, as the state of Israel fell in the Old Testament. Yes, Christians will be put to persecution, time and again. But Jesus said, "And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world." Jesus did not condemn the sinner, he did not even condemn the Pharisee (though he gave them a hard time). In fact, this is why Jesus was betrayed by the crowd, because they expected him to be a liberator or freedom fighter, not someone to forgive others on the cross.
Hint 4: Christians are condemned for having the Mark. Yeah, it is seriously bad news to have a society based around the Mark of the Beast (I heard today of a man who was denied a heart transplant for being unvaccinated). But "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: 'For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." How then can a manmade device separate us? This is what really deceives the elect, that anything on this Earth can make us apart from God. But neither will I swear any loyalty to this false world and its stupid rules.
Hint 5: Likewise, Christians are condemned for unclean food, adultery, or worship of idols. No more than normal. Jesus said on two occasions that what enters a person could not corrupt, only what comes out of a person.
Hint 6.66: Galatians 1:8 - "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a curse!" Yet John (if that is John, since I read 3 John and the writing style seems different) teaches that grace is not sufficient for salvation, but avoiding a Mark, avoiding sin, and being utterly perfect during this time. But all this works theology is not in line with the Gospel. "I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

So here this "Jesus" comes along, and supposedly nukes all the non-Christians, then there are supposedly 1000 years of "peace", where "Satan" will be locked up, yet somehow there is no grace during this time. No sin of any kind will be allowed, and people will try to die but cannot. I'm probably mixing up passages, but you get the idea. We should trust what we know of Jesus, and trust that Jesus does allow evil in this world, because evil is part of God's plan. One day, suffering will fall away. Not free will. A careful reading of Genesis reveals that knowledge of Good and Evil was an intentional gift, not a sin. There is no possible way that God could have forbidden in by putting it (1) dead center in the garden of Eden, (2) not making the fruit out of reach, or (3) not having anyone or anything to guard it.

It think that's everything I want to say.

Thanks for the info, Exeter.
Since that website is blocked by a security treat It's not that hard to look up all the prophecies of the OT as they give Book, chapter and verse. You can also order books that give all the prophecies without any commentaries.

In (Rev.,7:1-4), four angles are commissioned by God to destroy the Land, Sea and Trees. Where in Rev.,is more detail of this destruction given? What is your understanding of (Rev.8:2-5)?
Rev 7:1-4
John is given another vision after these things, meaning after the first six seals that are revealed to him. He now sees four angels standing on the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth in order that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree until Gods servants were sealed.

These servants are the generational 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel, except for the tribe of Dan and Ephraim as they fell to idol worship and allowed God to be removed from them, Judges 18:30; 1 Kings12:25-33; Hosea 5:9, 11;Psalms 78:9-17, 65-67. To keep it twelve tribes since Dan and Ephraim are not mentioned in vs. 4-8 the tribe of Joseph appears twice, once under his own name and once under the name of his son Issachar/Manasseh. Judah is mentioned first as Messiah was to come from the lineage of David.

Rev 8:2-5
Fire usually represents Gods judgment. The censer that had incense in it and being a sweet aroma sent up to God filled with the prayers of the saints is now filled with fire and cast down to the earth. God is now ready to avenge those prayers of the saints as they wait for their fellowservants that are sealed with the seven spirits resting upon them.

These servants of God will also be persecuted to death during the time of the seven trumpet sounds as they keep the witness and testimony of God and preach to those that yet need to repent. Gods vengeful wrath is about to be released on all the earth as the voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake is Gods great power and authority ready to shake the earth as now is the time of his final wrath before the door of salvation is closed forever.

Thank you for sharing this list and I will archive it for future references. I have used many of these prophecies in my book I wrote on the book of Revelation.

I would like to pass along some insight into this thread at this time, for individuals to consider. It might clear up some confusion when trying to understand God”s long time plans. In all of the Old Testament there is no mention of the second return of Christ. Why? Because under plan (A) the bilateral covenant God made with Abraham and his biological defendants, He intended to establish His earthly kingdom while He was on earth the first time. Had Israel upheld their part of the bilateral covenant (two sided) God was planning to make them the trustees of the gospel, a kingdom of priest, to carry the gospel out into all the earth. All the Old Testament prophets speaking of the Day of the Lord, and John the Baptist preaching that the “Kingdom of God was at hand” were speaking about Christ first Advent. Israel failed to repent of their backsliding during the last opportunity God gave then as outlined in the “seventy weeks” of (Dan.9:24-27), God terminated the bilateral covenant (plan A), and under plan (B) God has offered a new “Unilateral Covenant”(one sided) with “whosoever will” who would live by, and put their faith in Him, to be the “trustees” of the gospel. According to (Galatians 3:28-29), God has redefined the descendants of Abraham, not by biological means but through faith.

The prophecies of Daniel and Rev., are all about plan (B). The new “unilateral covenant” (one side). God foreknew that Israel would by their own free will, would fail to live up to the bilateral covenant. (God does not govern by foreknowledge) Christ second return under His “unilateral covenant” does not depend on and religion to complete the gospel commission. The Father has predetermined certain events and their timing, in order to gather in the greatest harvest of souls in the history of mankind. It is a most wonderful story once clearly understood. But when students of Bible prophecy mingle old testaments prophecy pertaining to (plan A) with the prophecies of Dan., and Rev., (plan B), there is complete confusion.

Example: many Christians think that literal Israelites will make up the 144,000 of (Rev. 7), this will not be the case, because Israel even after three and a half years from Christ death , which marked the end of the seventy weeks, still would not except Christ as the Son of God.

The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God.’ In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.
“The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

This passage refers to actions of both the first and second coming.

  • And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced.

again

Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come,
And all the saints with You.
It shall come to pass in that day
That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
It shall be one day
Which is known to the LORD—
Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
That it will be light.
Zechariah 14:1-7

  • Thus the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with You.

Again this passage refers to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when He returns from heaven with the saints at the resurrection of the dead in Christ. It was from this passage that the Lord taught His disciples privately on the Mount of Olives about His Second Coming.

Rev 8:2-5
Fire usually represents Gods judgment. The censer that had incense in it and being a sweet aroma sent up to God filled with the prayers of the saints is now filled with fire and cast down to the earth. God is now ready to avenge those prayers of the saints as they wait for their fellow servants that are sealed with the seven spirits resting upon them.

I would like to broaden this interpretation with the following:

Rev. 8:2
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

{2} As I looked toward Heaven, I saw the seven angels who stand before God. Each angel was given a golden trumpet. Seven highly exalted angels stand before God. They are “on call” to carry out God’s will at a moment’s notice. These angels were given seven trumpets (in 1994 – see Appendix A) and are waiting for the signal to sound their trumpets. When Jesus gives the signal, each angel will sound his trumpet and a dreadful judgment will impact Earth. I believe the first four judgments will occur over a period of approximately sixty days and they will fall on notably wicked places. The last three trumpet judgments will fall on wicked people. The first four angels have been standing ready to do what the Lord asks of them since 1994. They are waiting for the 144,000 to be selected and sealed. This delay will end soon and when it does, God’s wrath will be released. The first four judgments will kill twenty- five percent of the world’s population. This means that one out of every four people will die.(Rev.6:7,8) Words cannot describe the death, destruction, and chaos the first four trumpets will produce.

Rev. 8:3
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

{3} My attention was directed toward the golden Altar of Incense located before God’s throne. I saw a highly exalted angel serving at the Altar of Incense. He had a golden censer in his hand.

Before we discuss the importance of this scene, some background information about temple services is required. Two different altars were used in the earthly temples built by Moses and Solomon. Services conducted at these two altars teach us that God does not forgive sin, instead He transfers the guilt of a repentant sinner to the horns of the Altar of Burnt Offering. This may be a new thought, so please consider the following illustration: When a sinner commits a sin, the penalty for sin (death) rests on the sinner’s head. The only way a sinner can escape this penalty is through faith in God’s grace.

Before Jesus died on the cross, repentant sinners in Israel had to go through a certain process to be set free of their guilt (condemnation). A sinner had to present a perfect lamb to a priest at the Altar of Burnt Offering. Standing at that altar, the sinner confessed his sins by putting his hands on the lamb’s head and declaring his sinful actions. After confession, the sacrificial lamb was placed on the altar and the sinner took its life by cut- ting the jugular vein. The priest captured some of the lamb’s blood in a cup and sprinkled the blood on the horns of the Altar of Burnt Offering as a record of this transaction. The sinner’s guilt was transferred to the horns of the altar via “sinless blood,” and the sinner came away from the altar free of condemnation (forgiven).

At the end of the religious year, the High Priest cleansed the Altar of Burnt Offering on the Day of Atonement. The accumulated guilt was transferred from the altar to the head of a scapegoat and the scapegoat was then taken out into the wilderness by a very strong man. The man was instructed to take the goat to a desolate place so it might die a protracted death. Two points stand out in this process. First, sin itself cannot be forgiven, but guilt can be transferred from the sinner to the temple’s altar via the blood of a perfect lamb. Second, a scapegoat was required to cleanse the temple of accumulated guilt. On the Day of Atonement, the guilt which had accumulated on the horns of the altars was placed on the scapegoat’s head and the scapegoat was led away to die.

The Old Testament ceremonial system demonstrates two truths. First, the blood of a perfect lamb (representing Jesus) was required to release a sinner from the penalty of sin. Second, the guilt of sin was put on the scapegoat. This point confuses many people. Jesus lived a perfect life so that He could provide the sinless blood required to transfer our guilt to the author of sin. Because sin cannot be forgiven, the author of sin must die for creating sin. Lucifer will die a protracted death. He must suffer and die for his own sins as well as the guilt of those who received Christ as their Savior.

Now that we have considered the daily service conducted at the bronze Altar of Burnt Offering, we need to turn our attention to the golden Altar of Incense and its daily service. Try to keep this thought in mind as you proceed: Daily services at the golden Altar of Incense provided “corporate atonement,” whereas daily services at the bronze Altar of Burnt Offering provided “individual atonement.”

Two levels of atonement (two altars) were required in the earthly temple because of timing. When God initiated temple services in the wilderness, the population of Israel exceeded two million people (and the nation became much larger later on). Therefore, an Israelite could not bring a sacrificial lamb to the Altar of Burnt Offering each time he sinned or at any time he desired. He had to wait for his turn. The Talmud indicates that the twelve tribes were assigned specific time periods when they could come to the temple for services at the Altar of Burnt Offering.

For example, suppose the tribe of Judah was scheduled for services at the Altar of Burnt Offering during the month of Tishri (the seventh month of the year). Suppose also that during the year, all of the people belonging to the tribe of Judah sinned a few times each month. Because sinners cannot live in God’s presence, the Lord provided a way for the tribe of Judah to be “covered” from guilt until their turn came for the Altar of Burnt Offering. The grace extended through the whole year to the tribe of Judah came through daily services at the Altar of Incense. Here’s how:

A priest conducted a special service at the golden Altar of Incense each evening and morning. He took a perfect one year old lamb from the temple’s herd and sacrificed it on the Altar of Burnt Offering. Then, he carried the blood into the Holy Place of the temple and applied the lamb’s blood to the horns of the golden Altar of Incense. This process was conducted to benefit the whole camp. The guilt of the whole camp of Israel (not the guilt of a particular individual) was transferred to the horns of the Altar of Incense twice a day. This daily atonement allowed an all-consuming God to live among sinners without destroying them. The blood applied to the horns of the Altar of Incense kept God’s wrath away from the camp.

We know from Scripture that ceremonial services in the earthly temple are shadows of services that are conducted in Heaven’s temple.(Heb.8:1-5) Because this parallel exists, we can determine the meaning of the service that John describes in Revelation 8:3-5. Here is a brief explanation:

Jesus began interceding for all mankind (corporate intercession) at the Altar of Incense on the day that Adam and Eve sinned. Jesus stood between the sudden death law (Gen.2:17) and the guilty pair. Jesus explained His intercession to Adam and Eve when He covered them with animal skins. For 6,000 years, Jesus has protected the whole world from the sudden death law because He interceded for us daily at the Altar of Incense. Prior to the cross, God required individuals to show their faith in God’s plan of redemption by offering a perfect lamb on an altar of burnt offering. Abel showed His faith through obedience, Cain did not. After the cross, burnt offerings were terminated, but living by faith remains unchanged. God still requires each person to surrender his will to God’s will. He calls us to offer ourselves as living sacrifices.

The corporate intercession that began when Adam and Eve sinned will soon end. When it does, the censer at Heaven’s Altar of Incense will be cast down and God’s wrath (the seven trumpets) will break out. God will release the four angels at the four corners of Earth and His four deadly judgments will punish the world. His four deadly judgments are sword, famine, plague, and wild beasts.(Rev.6:78) The seven trumpets contain these deadly judgments. (Continued in next post)

Rev.8:4
And the smoke of the incense, which came from the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

{4} I saw a brilliant angel standing at the Altar of Incense. He served the Lord as a priest, then I saw all of god’s saints on earth kneeling in prayer. They were fasting and praying, imploring God to do something quickly because it seemed that everyone on earth was about to perish. World leaders were crying out for peace and safety. (1Thes 5:3) While the saints were earnestly praying, the angel was given much incense. He put the incense on the altar’s live coals and a cloud of sweet fragrance filled the temple. The sweet scent, along with the petition of the saints, was presented to Jesus. He saw the entirety of the situation on Earth and was moved. There was war on Earth, the saints were very anxious, and the timing was perfect. Jesus sat in deep thought for a few moments. I could see deep agony reflected on His face. Then, He spoke to the angel ministering at the altar. He said, “Stop the corporate atonement service, there will be no more delay.(Rev.10:6)

Since this scene occurs after 1798, Jesus is seated on the throne. He is not the priest at the Altar of Incense. It should not be surprising that angels serve God as priests because human beings will also serve God as priests.(Rev.1:6, 5:10, Heb.5:1) The angel-priest casts down the censer because Jesus gave Him the command to do so.

Why are all of the saints praying? What is the relationship between casting down the censer and the prayers of all the saints? The casting down of the censer and the termination of corporate intercession is the answer to the prayers of the saints. I assume one event which would move all of God’s saints to pray the same prayer at the same time would be a nuclear exchange. Paul makes it clear in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 that when people are saying “peace and safety,” God will send sudden destruction. When Revelation 8:3-5 occurs, the world will be on the edge of self-destruction and the saints will be praying for the Lord to intervene. World leaders will be demanding peace and safety and Jesus will respond. He will tell the angel who ministers at the Altar of Incense, “It is finished. The delay (that began in 1994) is over.” Corporate intercession for Earth will be terminated. The angel will respond by removing the re from the altar and throwing it down on the Earth. This dramatic action indicates indignation. Corporate mercy has ended, the fourth seal will be broken open, and the appointed time of the end will now begin.

Rev. 8:5
And the angel took the censer, and lled it with re of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earth- quake.

{5} The angel serving at the Altar of Incense removed the live coals on the altar and put them in a censer. Then he threw the censer to Earth. There came peals of deafening thunder that caused people to panic. There were voices coming out of the ground and huge bolts of angry lightning filled the sky. Then a great earthquake violently shook the whole world for several minutes (Rev.8:5) and then the whole world came to a standstill.

When the censer is cast down, Jesus will immediately empower His servants who have been selected and sealed. The 1,260 days allotted for the Two Witnesses will begin. The 1,335 days allotted for the Great Tribulation will begin. The “end of days” begins when daily services conducted at the Altar of Incense cease. (Dan.12:11-13) The appointed time of the end is a well-defined period of time.(Dan.8:19) Everyone will see and feel God’s wrath. The Great Day of the Lord will be terrible.

It is my understanding that since 1994, four angels have been holding back God’s deadly judgments. There have been huge disasters on Earth, including earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, and fires, but these have not been God’s deadly judgments. They have been prophetic samples of events to come. The difference between a random act of violent nature and God’s wrath is a message of redemption. There are several instances recorded in the Old Testament where God’s wrath broke out and thousands perished. When these instances occurred, there was always a divine message. As we approach the day when the censer will be cast down, remember that perfect love drives out fear. If we abide in Jesus, there is nothing to fear. He has promised to be with us until the end of the world. Given the scope and scale of destruction presented in the book of Revelation, it seems almost impossible that anyone will survive God’s wrath. In fact, less than fifty percent of Earth’s present population will live to see the Second Coming; yet, amid all the coming devastation, remember that God is love. He has carefully and deliberately designed the Great Tribulation to save the largest number of people possible and the Bible says a numberless multitude will be redeemed! God has several objectives for the seven trumpets, and as we have discussed, one objective will be to shatter the religious beliefs of mankind. When religious people discover that their religious beliefs are false, the honest in heart will discard their worthless paradigms and embrace God’s truth as proclaimed by the 144,000 and they will be saved.

Here is my own scenario of the end of days.

When the son of perdition takes his literal seat in the holy place of Jerusalem, 2Thessalonians 2:1-5, Jesus warned us to flee as He has a place prepared for us wherever we go to, Matthew 24:15-21; Rev 12:14. At this time many Christians will be taken captive that did not heed the warning to flee and if they will not denounce Christ and bow down and take the mark of this beast, who falsely claims peace and safety to all who takes its mark, they will die a martyr's death.

God's protection is absolute to those who are His own and escape into the wilderness as they trust in Christ to help meet their needs. Just as God told Moses to strike the rock for fresh water, Exodus 17:1-7, and sending manna down from heaven and providing Quail for meat, Exodus 16, so will be the same in the end of days, Philippians 4:19.

Nut shell scenario of what will happen during the first six trumpets of Rev Chapter 8-11 that leads up to the seventh trumpet and the 3 1/2 years events of Chapter 13 with the beast out of the sea and out of the earth.

God’s wrath is poured out into the world as chastisements for disobedience, but also a warning that man needs to repent and turn back to God before the door of salvation is closed forever when Christ returns.

Hail and fire can be likened unto meteors that fall from the sky. A third of the trees and all the green grass are burned up which makes a third part of the world with a shortage of oxygen in the air that is created from the carbon dioxide from the trees and living plants. Seeing that this is Global the intense fire and smoke from all the trees and grass burning can travel for miles causing much more damage throughout the nations. The trees that produce various healthy foods for our wellbeing will become scarce. The green grasses that would probably include crops of wheat, barley, corn and so forth will be destroyed causing a shortage in food. The animals we depend on as a food source will also die as they are left without vegetation they need to live on.

This great mountain burning with fire could be a large asteroid as the third part of the sea is destroyed along with sea life and the third part of the ships that sit in it. The third part of the sea turned to blood by reason of all the animal life that is killed and those men, women and children who are on these ships that are destroyed. Take into consideration the disease that would spread from all the rotted sea life that is rotting away washing up on the shore and the flesh of those who were burned along with the ships.

These ships will more than likely be types of fuel tankers, merchant, fishing and luxury cruises ships traveling the waters. With the third of these ships being destroyed means a third part of the world’s fuel and food supply would be destroyed. There is only one ocean, but divided by four regions as being the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Arctic Ocean, and the Indian Ocean. This would be like the four corners of the earth as being North, South, East and West. The only difference between the ocean and the sea is that the ocean is much larger and feeds into the 108 seas around the world that also flow into our lakes and streams that provide us with fresh drinking water and other sources of food.

With the third part of the sun, moon and stars being darkened this will affect mans source of electricity and heat that is vital to keep a certain degree of the earth warm, and generated power in homes, hospitals and manufacturing plants including nuclear reactors.

Agriculture and navigation would be hard pressed as it takes the solar power from the sun to run the solar cells that produces the energy needed to run farming machinery and trucks to take the produce to manufacturing plants where the produce is then distributed to market.

Vehicles such as cars, ambulances, planes, trains and the list goes on need an energy source from the sun in order to run their engines. The darkness of the third part of the day would be roughly around eight hours of daylight being lost and total darkness of night as the moon and stars are illuminated by the sun at night. A flashlight would be useless to see in the dark as it needs energy from the sun to run the battery that turns the light on.

This much darkness would cause people to panic in the streets creating chaos as the love of many will wax cold, Matthew 24:12. Riots would break out causing looting and lose of life as those who have not will do anything in desperation to take from those who have much. IMO Marshal law will be enforced as we see history repeat itself with many Christians taken captive that did not flee and killed as they refuse to denounce Christ and take the mark. They will also die a martyr's death, Rev 6:9-11, especially vs. 11. Also we are not to fear what man can do to us, Matthew 10:28.

This is where the mark of the beast comes in during the seventh trumpet as this NWO is a Luciferian system of economics, political, military, educational and false religious power that gives power to the beast out of the earth being the son of perdition. By lying signs and wonders the beast will deceive the nations (people) into taking its mark. IMO I think the mark is the thoughts of our mind and the actions of our hands reaching out to this beast that promises peace, safety and provision as many will bow down and worship this beast who claims to be God.

After the 3 1/2 years of this Luciferian reign on earth that will wear out the saints, Daniel 7:25, then every eye will see Christ coming in the clouds with His army of angels that are then sent out to gather those saints who are alive at His coming and those who sleep in their graves, Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Rev 19:11-21. We are gathered up to the clouds as we receive our new glorified bodies in order to meet Jesus in the air. From the air He destroys the beast and false prophet by the brightness of His coming only speaking their destruction casting them into the lake of fire. Satan is bound for a time as Jesus sets out to destroy all the nations that followed after the beast. Satan is then released in a final attempt to destroy the saints as he sends his angels out to surround the camp of the saints, but the angels are consumed by fire and Satan cast into the lake of fire. Then comes God's great white throne judgment and the books are opened and all are judged. Then this present heaven and earth are burned up and made new again and the New Jerusalem is ushered down from heaven where we will be with the Lord forever.

In the New Testament we find details describing the “Second return of Christ”. I’m sure you are familiar with them. They inform us that when Christ comes He comes the the armies of Heaven, not aware He comes with Saints as you state, He never touches the earth, every eye will see Him, He kills the wicked who have the “mark of the beast” by the sword that comes out of His mouth (a command). and he invites the birds to eat the flesh of the wicked. At His “second Coming” the living that are alive, and the righteous dead that are raised up, will join together to meet the Lord and His army of angels in the air, and reign with Christ a 1,000 years in heaven. After the 1,000 years have ended, Christ and then, all the saints shall return to earth within New Jerusalem. Christ then raises the wicked, to conduct the, “Great White Thrown Judgment”. God will reveal to all the lost why He could not save them, and then fire will reign down on them and they will be destroyed, Afterward God will create a New Heaven and earth, and the Saints and Jesus will dwell here on this earth made new, without the curse of sin.

Of course this is a global event, not a Judaic prophecy as is (Zechariah.14) Zechariah was written between 518-520 B.C., five centuries before Christ first Advent. So why would God give Zechariah details of His second coming as you claim, when He had not yet been born as Jesus. Think on this, would Jesus have any need to return to heaven if Israel had excepted Christ, as the Messiah/the Son of God/The Lamb of God? How do you understand John the baptist message, “The Kingdom of God is at Hand?” Was John misinformed by the Holy Spirit? Or was he a false prophet?

When you read more of the contexts of (Zechariah 14:1-21) Is there any mention of Christ coming in the clouds with heaven armies, and in the Glory of the Father. That the dead in Christ will be raised, that the saints will be given immortality, that every eye will see Him, that the saint will return to heave and reign with Him a 1,000 years. Zechariah informs Juda, that the Lord will be living in there presence, I assume in the same manner as He did when He was born of man. The earthly sanctuary service was still prophecied, Is Zechariah, describing Christ Second Coming, that you have in mind?

I have a NKJ, the heading over chapter 14, reads: “The Lord’s second Coming to Jerusalem”

At His “second Coming” the living that are alive, and the righteous dead that are raised up, will join together to meet the Lord and His army of angels in the air, and reign with Christ a 1,000 years in heaven.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-17

When He returns the saints in heaven will return with Him, and He will gather His people at the resurrection (the dead in Christ) and rapture (those who are alive and remain) together in the clouds with Him, in the air, and then He will destroy the wicked, including the antichrist.

Those of His people with receive glorious bodies that will shine like the sun and never die anymore; clothed with immortality!

But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Luke 20:35-36

Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Matthew 13:40-42

When He returns and after the wicked are removed, He will be seated upon His throne in Jerusalem to reign as King over the earth for a thousand years.

Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;

The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come,
And all the saints with You…
And the LORD shall be King over all the earth.

In that day it shall be—
“The LORD is one,”
And His name one.
Zechariah 14:1-6,9

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. Revelation 20:1-3

Glory, I appreciate so much, this post, as I get an overall picture as to want you understand in closing events. I will respond, but first I want to dialoge with JB further. Too, I mentioned in an earlier post if you would share with me the rules of interpretation you think are valid, I would do the same. I haven't responded to you directly as of yet, however, what I understand as valid hermeneutics at this time, I have posted. If you haven't already read that thread I started earlier, please check it out. It's titled,"Why the Experts Disagree." This will explain what I believe and the four valid hermeneutics and why students of prophecy should understand this crucial topic if they wish for the Bible to be it's own interpreter. Only after you read that will you understand what I have to say as I respond to overall view of closing events.

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire.
So far today my devotions have been about the Kingdom of Heaven, particularly as described in these similtudes:

Wheat with Tares Growing:
Mat 13:24-25
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; (25) but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
Branches with Birds Nesting:
Mat 13:31-32
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, (32) which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches."
Flour with Leaven Spreading:
Mat 13:33
Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."
Field with Treasure Hiding:
Mat 13:44
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Merchant with Expensive Pearl Purchasing:
Mat 13:45-46
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, (46) who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Dragnet with Fish Gathering:
Mat 13:47-48
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, (48) which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.
Landowner with Labourer Hiring:
Mat 20:1-2
"For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. (2) Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
King with Wedding Guest Inviting:
Mat 22:2-3
"The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, (3) and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.
Mat 22:10-11 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. (11) "But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.
Virgins with Lamp Trimming:
Mat 25:1-2
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. (2) Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Mat 25:10-13 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. (11) "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' (12) But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' (13) "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Too, I mentioned in an earlier post if you would share with me the rules of interpretation you think are valid, I would do the same.
IMO the rules of interpretation is only that of the word of God as understanding the literal and the symbolic when it comes to understanding the book of Revelation.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

JB, Wish to dialogue with you more on our previous issue, before we get into a different discussion.

I have had the blessing of knowing a author, and founder of a online ministry. And have read most of his books and watched many of his study videos over the last three decades. His ministry is nondenominational, and for all people of all faiths. His main focus is the study of Dan., and Rev.

Having said that I want to share with you want he has to say to his readers in a more recent book he authored called, “The untold Story Of Jesus”, pg. 20, by Larry Willson. By the way he passed away over a year ago.

Proof Text Demands

Some people demand a “proof text” for everything said about an infinite God as though a “sound bite” is the only or best solution. Bible verses are building blocks and when properly arranged, we discover truths which are otherwise unknown. I am not opposed to the use of “proof texts” as long as they are not used to put the Bible in a state of internal conflict. I am opposed to the idea that everything God wants us to understand is explicitly stated. God draws us into a study of His Word by requiring that we analyze line upon line and precept upon precept. Every truth does not require or have explicit statements. For example, suppose two facts in Algebra are stated: A = B and B = C. From these two facts we can deduct a new fact, A = C, even though there is no explicit statement saying that A = C.

The Bible is full of precious truth, some truths are explicitly stated; many have to be deducted. This makes studying the Bible so exciting! Truth is proven true by the harmony that comes from the sum of its parts. Unfortunately, some people are not reasonable, they insist on a “proof text” declaring that A = C when there is none. I often find this belligerence to be a smoke screen. Some people have staked out a position and are afraid their “theological house of cards” will fall, or be found inferior, if A = C. An honest-hearted, mature Bible student knows when the Holy Spirit is leading him into “all truth,”32 many “theological houses” have to fall and be rebuilt. I do not believe today what I believed fifty years ago! I have had to tear down many of my “theological constructs” to resolve apparent conflicts. This process never ends and it is so exciting! I do not fear what the truth may be, I just want to know what it is and apply it to my life!

The Jews in Christ’s day loved to spar using “proof texts” in their debates, as though eternal life depended on it;33 but for all their learning and memorization of Scripture, they missed the profound truth that Jesus was the promised Messiah! This happened because they errantly searched the Bible to support their religious bias and beliefs, not to understand God’s love, ways, plans, and thoughts. They did not understand John the Baptist was “the Elijah who was to come” because there was no “proof text.”34 In fact, many Jews rejected Jesus as Messiah because Elijah did not show up. Their bigoted experience should be a siren warning us that the Bible should not be treated with arrogance; remember, when it comes to matters pertaining to God, everyone has impediments. Tread softly!

If you and I continue to dialogue, most of what I’ll be sharing will be due to what I learned from Mr. Wilson over many years of study. I have never read anyone who has been able to connect the dots a see the big picture as he has.

After sending my last post to you on the subject of the “second coming” (Zechariah14:1-7) something else has come to mind I wish to pass along for your consideration. Previously in a post of mine I talked about the bilateral (two sided)covenant God had with the nation of Israel. And that due to Israel’s refusal to up hold there side of the covenant, God canceled it, at the end of the 70 weeks of Dan. 9, (A.D.33) Is this something we can agree on?

If you answer yes, than you should be able to understand that any prophecies fore telling that Jesus would come to Jerusalem and reign from there as the King of all nations, have not nor will they ever come to pass. Because, God, is not bound to a canceled convent. This is why as students of prophecy we must understand this issue, or by our misunderstanding we mingle Judaic prophecies, those under a bilateral covent(two sided) with those prophecies of Dan., and Rev., which are under the unilateral (one Sided) covenant. Examples:

God gave Noah a unilateral covenant. I’m going to destroy the earth with a flood”. Noah had no say in the matter, nor does God agree to not destroy the earth if Noah and the people would repent. Why, because the world corporately had filled up it’s cup of iniquity. God’s patience has a limit.

Unfortunately, most Christians do not understand this issue, therefore, their understanding of closing events has the nation of Israel being a big part of the picture. Does this make sense to you?

If so, please note that most of your texts sent in this post are from the disciples teachings after the bilateral covenant ended in 33 A.D., and the unilateral covenant was in operation. Therefor, these prophecies pertain to the unilateral covenant. You then have Zechariah 14, included, which is a prophecy under the bilateral covenant. This puts the Bible in a state of conflict, for many. When this occurs we can be sure we do not understand the scriptures correctly. Because truth is understood when we discover the harmony of the sum of all the parts on any given subject.

With regard to the subject we are discussing, we find harmony in what the Bible is saying when we understand that the reign of Christ In Jerusalem according to Zechariah would have been fulfilled, had Israel upheld there end of the bilateral covenant. They did not, so the New Testament discipels are teaching the terms of the Second return of Christ which is different because it’s under the unilateral covenant.

Sorry, for going on so long here, but this is such an important issue, and I pray you can grasp it’s significants. Believe me when I say I not trying to impress you with this knowledge, but rather I just wish to pass on what Mr. Wilson has taught so many through his books and studies, to help others to correctly understand God’s wonderful plans. It has been a blessing and I want to pass it on.

In another post I will address the issue of the saints coming with Christ at His second coming.

Glory. It's 2:30 am, couldn't sleep, thought I'd ask a question that's been on my mind for some time now. I live in Lincoln, ca as you may know. It's close to Sacramento. Anyway wife and I are leaving here this Monday and driving to your state, SC. Will be leaving my car there and returning by plane after two weeks. Bought a house there in Chapin, very close to Lk. Murry, last Dec. Will be selling our home here and moving there come first of Aug., after wife retires. So out of curiosity I was wondering where you live?

After sending my last post to you on the subject of the “second coming” (Zechariah14:1-7) something else has come to mind I wish to pass along for your consideration. Previously in a post of mine I talked about the bilateral (two sided)covenant God had with the nation of Israel. And that due to Israel’s refusal to up hold there side of the covenant, God canceled it, at the end of the 70 weeks of Dan. 9, (A.D.33) Is this something we can agree on?

The covenant that the Lord made with Abraham and his descendants began in Genesis 17, although Abraham heard and obeyed the call of the Gospel in Genesis 12.

Later on the law of Moses was added to that Covenant until the Messiah came, and ushered in the New (renewed) Covenant which was a renewal of the Covenant He made with Abraham and his descendants. This is why Paul speaks of us becoming children of Abraham through Christ, in which the blessing of Abraham has come upon us.

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. Galatians 3:7-9
