If what Alisa Childers said is true, and the sermon that led to this supposed revival didn't even contain the gospel message, and that progressives are supporting this supposed revival, then those are two huge red flags that this could be just hyper-emotionalism. Add to that that the NAR is supposedly getting involved, which, if true, will likely lead many astray from the gospel.

I have an uncle that is posting pictures from Asbury and you can see a number of people holding up cellphones to record or take pictures. That supports what I stated earlier that there are going to be number of people there that are either just experience chasers or want to be able to brag that they were there. A large number of people are apparently arriving from outside Asbury, which doesn't prove anything. If people are willing and able to take record and take pictures of what is going on, then it suggests there really isn't much going on spiritually in terms of revival, unless God limits his workings to those in the front half of gathering.

A missionary in Nepal posted a true revival there.police arrested many street preachers but unable to stop the word going out.

It's illegal to openly preach there

Yeah, I just looked at his FB page and he was there already. It also looks like he's planning a "revival" in Lakeland again, from April 14-16. "Re-digging the well of revival," he calls it.

I did post two of them earlier in this thread--one on page 1 and the other on page 2.

I don't know about this.. I'm not feeling the good vibes here and still seeing the same old problems of ignorance in people. I don't believe there is a big revival happening. Just another distraction from the fact we are living in Revelations and things are getting worse, not better..

I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy or bummer Bob here but I'm sensitive to vibes in the air and they're not much different and actually a little worse this week. If a revival was in fact breaking out wouldn't you notice it taking place?
 
Christ_empowered we hope/pray for the best and prepare for the worst.

I just don't feel or see anything revival related as the internet claims and you would think that this would be instantaneous, not just in one area. Then again maybe I really am surrounded by evil people... I don't really know how this even supposed to work.

While God can use that but it's also verified to the Word .

Sadly I'm skeptical as I hear that it's in a chapel and not a church with elders to decide proper doctrine and to minister to those who need discipliship.

If one repents and has no home church likely one wont stay saved or even grow .Satan doesn't just shrug and give up. He watches and plots and pushes and pulls .

HOW TO RESPOND TO THE ASBURY REVIVAL​



Why is it so urgent to have the right response to the revival currently taking place at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky? Well, let me answer that with a story about the California condor. That great bird was virtually extinct when one of these giant vultures with a 10 foot wing span laid an egg. The nest was located high up in inaccessible mountains, yet the forestry service had to keep its location hidden. And for good reason.

It was all over the media. Naturalists tried to find the nest to photograph the egg. Others wanted to camp near the egg and video it in hopes of catching the moment that it hatched. It is ironic that the very people who claimed to dearly love the bird were the greatest threat to its life. It is strange that a bird so powerful, as an adult, is so vulnerable at birth. The same is true of revival—it is vulnerable to abuse, at birth.

In fact, your first reaction to the news about Asbury is a test of your condition before God.​

Be honest. When you heard about Asbury, which did you feel: jealousy, hurt, criticism, or doubt? Did you feel some kind of carnal curiosity about it? Some responded immediately by thinking of ways to exploit it to their own ends.
