yes, make a wrong turn. the road to that house is open and acessable. I know it as there is a meter right on it, just about five feet down the road. the home had power probably at one time and may even be liveable.its not uncommon for some here to have no power and have county water, especially Gifford. it appears to have been a farm. with the topo I cant make it out. I had to go back to the 1970. it should the same thing. a cleared field with the home there and the barn barely visable. I aslo looked for those graves as I remember they were all buried in the woods and back in the 80's it was. and then.interesting im mistaken about the Gifford middle school that was use for a k-6. its not there in the 57 topo. You need to 'make a mistake' ??
lol, you thought a misread? theres no meter on that home. I have gone back as far as 57 and found one thing about the graves , possibly, it was open and accessable then as there was a road by them. It takes no time for pines to overgrow and grow to maturity. but well pines forests in florida are rather wide. that is why I could see the graves for some time after the overgrowth.Oh...okay ... a wrong turn! That makes sense!
I know. I have been looking for some things in the older topos. man its changed a lot areas where I didn't know where groves. a few old Spanish homes I could find. I found. It is almost awe-inspiring how quickly nature can reclaim land.

A better looking one I showed last month.1921 model.not bad for a 94 year old.View attachment 7040
More of sexton's work.this was a home first now a bar/Chinese restaurant.it was also near two other sexton home/storefront.just last year this was the western frontier.last year being 80s and early 90s.View attachment 7041
it has sky lights. I have seen them on. that is on tommorows route. it has that shape of a roof and appears real narrow. This was an adaptation of a California style of covered entryway.
I rather like what appears to be skylights to allow light by the front doors.
cause you cant see the sign. most Chinese restaurants here don't look like the pagoda types. though I wish I had a pic of the old moon garden restaurant and nankin. those did.It doesn't look like a Chinese restaurant at all.
Nice!
this image brings back memories. I used to climb inside, under, into, and all over this jet.View attachment 7044
it would never fly today. lawsuits. that plane hurt my child. as they let their child climb the jet and jump of the tail as I did often. it had controls in all when it first was at that park.its now been restored. a relic and one of a kind that is left from the Korean warThat would have been lots of fun to do!
