Scripture Studies Re Babylon

Well, i suppose I should recheck, But if memory serves me properly, your latest stuff about the exiles of the Israelites is drivel too. If I recall properly they were exiled three times. Once by the Persians, from which exile they returned in mass when allowed to do so. Once by the Babylonians; from which exile only a remnant returned, because Babylon practised freedom of worship; and the result was the bulk of the Israelites exiled there abbandoned worship of their God; and took up worship of the Babylonian gods instead. The third exile was that done by the Romans.
You are correct; you should recheck. Israel was never exiled by the Persians. They were, however, exiled by the Assyrians.

They were under Persian rule for a year or two, but only because of the previous Babylonian exile. It was God, who worked in the heart of Cyrus and convinced him to let HIS people go free and back to Jerusalem. It is right there in the book of Ezra... right there in the Bible! :study
