Should the churches have some say in divorce

We must remember in the beginning God warned Satan in "Genesis 3:15 Living Bible (TLB) - 15 From now on you and the woman will be enemies, as will your offspring and hers. You will strike his heel, but he will crush your head.”
 
I've only had two wives, and they were both perfect.

Uh, you DO know, don't you, that God was speaking to the serpent in that passage? Yeah, I thought you did. It kind of sounds like you are thinking God meant husband and wife would be enemies.
 
Thank you. I really couldn't have even imagined anyone as perfect as this one.
 
Someone once told me marriage is a 90%/10% deal.
Both of you should expect to give 90%, and receive10%. It is almost always better than that, so how can you lose?

All offsprings of Satan that comes to a Christian woman will be enemies. This is why many marriages don't work out.
 
You take two givers and you have a great marriage
You take a giver and a taker and there will be problems
You take two takers and you have a nightmare.

That's exactly what I had in mind. The lambs as well as the younger sheep need to have their shepherds sitting down and talking about the wolves and warning as well as teaching. If this were happening, things would be quite different.

Also, in the case where one or the other spouse is saved, there should be nothing to prevent shepherds from sitting down with both spouses and explaing that now there is a spiritual conflict within the home which needs to be resolved, otherwise it will result in an emotional and financial disaster. Why is this not happening? The solution is Christ Himself. God wanted shepherds tending His flocks. Instead we have the wolves and the Roaring Lion destroying them.
