I rarely watch TV. I'm not being morally superior or anything. I got out of the habit after being in 1 year Christian residential rehab ("Jesus Camp"), where TV just wasn't a part of life.
Now, I don't watch it. At all. My daily TV watching might average 5 minutes, if you count the times I sit down to watch a show with my parents or some friends at their apartments.
When I do watch TV, I'm struck by how tranquilized I feel. And by the decidedly anti-Christian messages being pushed, mostly to entertain and sell products.
Then I wonder: is there good TV? What's your take, as Christians, on TV viewing?
