Temporal Salvation?

I love you too! I hope you still love me after what I just stated to Jethro.

Jethro Bodine is not real so he doesn’t count. You can say what you want. He is an algorithm that has been programmed to react with certain answers to those who push an OSAS agenda.

This saves the staff from the endless “non questions“ which ignore scripture, that are presented by brainwashed people who have no desire for the truth.

“Jethro” as we call him has a preprogrammed chip with over
250K preselected and designed responses that are stimulated by certain words and phrases used by the algorithm to respond in various ways.

So.... no harm done.

Hope you still love me after this answer.

PS. Just joking with you. You are loved and appreciated.

Those brothers who hate, no longer have eternal life.
hate is not a fruit characteristic of a true child of God . does that mean if they done you wrong you have to forget it.. no it means i will no longer associate with them or trust them

That’s good because they no longer have eternal life remaining in them. Pray that they repent.

This verse refers to a Christian brother who resorts to hating his brother, for whatever reason...

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

15 Everyone who hates (works against) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer [by God’s standards]; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15 AMP

15 Anyone who hates his Christian brother is really a murderer at heart; and you know that no one wanting to murder has eternal life within. 1 John 3:15 TLB

The security and 'forever-ness' of salvation is not that you automatically have it forever when you get saved.
That's what saved means! There's no explanation for what saved means if it's not eternal redemption.

The Ministry and Sacrifice of Jesus is what is eternal and doesn't have to be redone, not your possession of it.
Everything the Lord Jesus does in His glorified state is eternal and can only be done once, thus inheriting eternal redemption can only be a single act and cannot be duplicated (as you've mentioned).

You have to continue to believe in that which is eternal and doesn't have to be redone to continue to possess that which is eternal and doesn't have to be redone.
There's not much I can reply concerning believing the unbelieving. The only description of unbelieving is the position of man prior to believing, e.g. an unbeliever can become a believer, but a believer cannot become an unbeliever.

so one more last attempt i have asked for scripture saying temporary salvation ..might i add i am asking IN accordance to the TOS

I still have yet to see Scripture that describes one believing and then stops believing.

But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 8:13

  • who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

These believed for a while.... which means they no longer believed.

To me this means temporary believing, results in temporary salvation.

What does believe for a while mean to you?

Does it mean permanent believing or temporary believing.

Paul teaches the same principle in 1 Corinthians 15:1-2.

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

  • by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that wordwhich I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

If we do not continue to believe, but fall away in unbelief, our initial believing by which we were saved was done in vain.

What does saved through faith mean to you?

Do you have faith in Jesus Christ for salvation?

What happens to the person who departs from the faith?

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1

i have asked for scripture with the words temporary salvation you have yet to respond
Is believing for a while, temporary believing or permanent believing?
they was never saved still waiting on scripture temporary salvation
when it says he gives us eternal life

Yes agreed. Christians who hate, (sin) without confessing or turning away from their or sin, are to be considered as tax collectors and heathen; ie sinners

Same for those who do not forgive.

This is entry level Christianity 101, Jerry.

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
Matthew 18:12-17

  • But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

Read the rest of Matthew 18 to discover what Jesus sad about those who do not forgive.

You have been given the scriptures many times.

Please answer the question Jerry.

Please explain how temporary believing results in permanent salvation.

you have given me no scripture that has the words temporary salvation . until i see the scripture with them exact words .

i will not be answering any more questions . i have the right in accordance with the TOS. i say he gives us eternal life i post scripture showing it.
Is believing for a while, temporary believing or permanent believing?

Please explain how temporary believing results in permanent salvation.
just as soon as i see scripture with the words temporary salvation you play hard ball so do i . you can either produce scripture with the words temporary salvation or you can admit there is no such scripture with them words

And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
Matthew 18:12-17
you treat him like he is.. i am fully aware of the scripture to .i have even preached on it. it fell on deaf ears . the flesh can ignore the spirit that doesnt always mean they are no longer saved . it just means there hard headed . in hebrews scripture does say if they reject the chastisement then they are illegitimate kids no father probably not saved 2 men as example peter judas . peter come back judas commited suicide i doubt he was ever saved

that doesnt always mean they are no longer saved .

These who have been warned by several people including the Church are lost, Jerry. Please actually read what is written rather than just spout your preconceived ideas.

Pretty much that’s all you have done in this thread is just promote your opinion, when I take the time to show you exactly what the scriptures say.

Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:14

Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:6-7

The content of this teaching by Jesus Christ Himself is about His sheep who become lost.

There lost!

Lost does not somehow mean saved.
Lost never will mean saved, Jerry, never.
Lost means you have returned to being a sinner; unjustified.

You can attempt to redefine biblical words and terms all you like, all your doing is showing yourself to lack integrity in doctrine.

Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. Titus 2:6-8

Eternal life is knowing Him, Jerry.

Please stop trolling me Jerry.

Here is the scripture for the last time that says we must hold fast to that word by which we were saved, or our initial believing was done in vain.

Paul teaches the same principle in 1 Corinthians 15:1-2.

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

If we do not continue to believe, but fall away in unbelief, our initial believing by which we were saved was done in vain.

That principle applies to me, and you and every Christian.

But tomorrow if a brother no longer believes in Christ, and falls away from Christ, in which he departs from the faith, them he is no longer saved.

If you disagree then please show the scripture that says a brother can depart from the faith and still be saved.

I still have yet to see Scripture that describes one believing and then stops believing. The issue is scripturally discerning between one falsely professing and appearing to look like a Christian, and one who is genuinely a Christian.
The genuinely saved Galatians stop believing the gospel that Paul preached to them by which they were saved and turned to a 'different' gospel (Galatians 1:6-7, Galatians 3:1-3).

The genuinely saved Corinthians stopped believing the gospel that Paul preached to them and by which they were saved and turned to a 'different' gospel (2 Corinthians 11:2-4, 1 Corinthians 15:1-2,12-17,33).

....and what do you suppose happened to those Saved Believers that fell into error?

....and what happens to those that “ preach” a False Gospel ......Those That propagate Error?

Eternal life is knowing Him, Jerry.

trolling is that what you call it? you keep giving scriptures that does not say temporary salvation

if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2
if and unless you believed in vain UNSUCCESSFUL, USELESS .

i really fail to see how you think im trolling . since either A you cant produce scripture that that reads we have temporary salvation . or B it dont exist does it i know what eternal life is God does not save a person on temporary bases . you either are or your NOT . no straddling the fence

But tomorrow if a brother no longer believes in Christ, and falls away from Christ, in which he departs from the faith, them he is no longer saved. -- (scripture with them words please)

If you disagree then please show the scripture that says a brother can depart from the faith and still be saved.
sorry until you reply to my question .i cant reply to yours .your making it a one sided discussion
