The Spirit works with us each and everyday, to empower us to walk according to the Spirit; to practice righteousness.


This involves our participation to live according to the Spirit, who dwells within us, rather than living according to the sinful desires of our flesh.


The Spirit will led us and empower us to love our neighbor.
This is the way of life; The way of eternal life.


Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:12-13


Here are the two choices we as born again Christians, (people who can indeed walk in the Spirit), we are faced with each and everyday.

1. For if you live according to the flesh you will die;
2. but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

These are the two choices; live according to the flesh, or live according to the Spirit.


Notice the phrase... if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Please read that —

• if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Can you see that we are required to put to death (crucify) the deeds of the body... by the Spirit.


There is a divine effort that we as Christians must put forth in this daily battle against our flesh. Our flesh strives against the Spirit. It’s a battle.

The question is, whose side are you on?


I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:16-17

• Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Are we investing ourselves towards strengthening our inner man, or are we investing our time gratifying our flesh.

I actually was given this revelation quite recently. God humbled me BIG TIME with me trying to walk the line of holiness. I knew I am born again and I know his Word, I know what the Word says and I know what I'm supposed to do (that is what I thought) Then, POW!!!! YOU better wake up Girl and LET ME DO MY THING. Now, maybe you guys will have to receive your own humbling moment, but you shouldn't have to if you are able to receive what is being said.

The consequences are that they hold bitterness in their hearts that turns to anger, vengence, hate and resentment which we are instructed to turn away from as in such things we are walking in disobedience to God's commands and does not consist with a state of grace. This also cause one to quench the Holy Spirit that pains the Holy Spirit.

Act 8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Refusing to forgive someone will not cost you your salvation, but it will disrupt your fellowship with the Lord. In effect, the Lord is saying you can not fellowship with me and experience my cleansing power until you forgive the person who has wronged you. God will not damn you, but we disciplining you in which He does lovenly for all waywardness, Hebrews 12:5-11.

I'm gonna do a little side note, cause I recently had been spending lots of time on here with you all. My husband was fearful I was going down a rabbit hole and wasn't gonna come out. Anywho........Marriage. I had spoke earlier about the church being the bride of Christ. Then this happens - - John 14:15-17 "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Okay....That is the new covenant you enter into. The two become one flesh. I'm gonna speak about the covenant as a marriage that we do not get divorced from, because God is love and part of LOVE is it perseveres! He is faithful and true to complete his work in those who truly LOVE HIM! We mess up, but he is God and he is patient with us. See, on that first part of the scripture it says "if you love me" Okay ☑ Then, he says, "you will obey what I command"☑......SEE, right here he is testing your faithfulness to HIM, to see if he should enter into a covenant with you! If you check those boxes then he will give you the Spirit to be with you forever!

He is promoting hyper grace, which is an extreme false doctrine that leads people to believe they can “live anyway they want” because it’s up to Jesus to fix them apart from any cooperation or participation from ourself.

I must admit, you usually pick good applicable passages!

Gal 1:6 shows the start of Paul’s reproof concerning the issue being “removed,” not in deed but in thought upon considering the false teachers suggestions, and not conceiving them. For nowhere is there confirmation that they actually decided to follow these errors. This is also evident by the phrase “should not obey,” as opposed to have not obeyed (3:1). Notice 3:3 is also a question and not an implication, as there are only admonishments throughout the Book, along with Paul reminding them how they they are redeemed, by grace, not the law. We should also realize that many believers at that time were immature in the Word, it being close to the beginning of Christendom, i.e. "unskillful in the word of righteousness" (Heb 5:13).


4:10, 11 Paul is telling them he is wondering about them, not actually accusing them. I think he was appealing to their integrity by saying something that he knew was not so, which was that they would have wasted his time on them.


(5:2) Here Paul is not accusing that they went back, but admonishing them that if they actually desired to trust in circumcision they are not trusting in Christ, resulting in no spiritual benefit to them.

(5:4) The phrase "you who are trying" is not a specific accusation but a general supposition, that if anyone is trying to return to trusting in the law, it would be as though you have fallen from grace. This supposition is a hyperbolic expression with the sense that it would be impossible to do, for no one can trust in the law and grace, it just doesn't work. It's one or the other, and the former is no way to redemption, but rather needs redeemed from (Gal 4:5 ).

I believe Paul knew they were genuine believers but was addressing the matter in a way they could learn the most (5:10).
