Is the OT a closed book you?
Have you never read the story of Naman.
Because I answered your questions with that story.
It's a yes or no question. When you take a stand by one of those, I will proceed with other questions.
Strengthening families through biblical principles.
Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.
Read daily articles from Focus on the Family in the Marriage and Parenting Resources forum.

Addendum: I am not a moderator either. I strayed from my lane into yours. I am an ambassador to the recovery forum. I am going to bow out now and go back to the recovery forum. My apologies.
P.S. I am open to the idea that everything can be found in the Bible. The Holy Spirit has not led me to that conclusion yet but I am young and an eager student. So far, the Holy Spirit has let me wallow in my liberal philosophy so I can help people like me who are still struggling to find the way. God's Way. Here is my other post about this subject and I will leave it at that. The Way by Susan Peabody
Yes. I started teaching when I was ten. I used to beg my sister to play school with me so I could teach. Then I had all my friends come to me for advice and I started teaching about solutions to problems. In 1979 I got a teaching credential in California, but I could not deal with the public school system. So I started teaching about recovery from addiction at Piedmont Adult School. Adults sit still. I taught there for 15 years and then veered off into counseling and writing. Today, I do all three. I used to teach what I read about and what I learned about myself through self-analysis, but now I am under exclusive contract with the Holy Spirit. No I am not crazy. I just love to enlighten people and help God help them change their life the way he changed me.
If they do not know Christ they surrender to goodness or love. They intuitively know to love their neighbor and serve the poor. They are doing God's will guided by the Holy Spirit rather than the Bible.
Bless you. I needed to hear that as so many people get upset by my posts. God's timing is always perfect. He used to open windows after they closed. Now he opens the windows before they shut. Put another way. He hinted that I was to get to travel if I gave up all my possessions. Then he evicted me and had the storage people sell all my worldly good. I came to this forum and met John and we are going to start a ministry in Kenya for African Women to learn how to love and esteem themselves. We named it the Christian Women's Union. Put the word out. Here is the link. Women's Christian Union
Is this normal here? The moderator derailing threads?
Original Question: My question to the group, is could the Father call someone out ( say before the scriptures were available to the masses 15th century ) to respond in Faith, even though they have never heard of Christ or the good news of the Gospel?
Yes he can and yes he did. You tell me who he called.
Adam???? The Prophets??? Abraham?
In the scenario were discussing , there is no scripture yet! Only Grace made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.
Let's say the day after the resurrection, God the Father wanted to call out someone on the other side of the globe. Grace is in affect for mankind, the Father is calling someone out. In your understanding, could that called out one respond with an act of saving Faith?
It's really just a yes or no answer.
hah a reformed one.I don't agree that everyone is called, but that's another discussion.
No, not familiar with them.
I am off to bed. I just wanted to make sure somebody answered your question. When I watch debates it is my number one annoyance. I scream in my head: "Answer the question for God's sake." LOL I will check your progress tomorrow.
I know there was no written scripture yet and that is what I was trying to show you in post # 35. No, it really is not just a yes or no answer. Grace has always been in affect since God covered the nakedness of Adam and Eve with coats of skin making the first blood sacrifice for the atonement of sin and saved faithful Noah and his family from the flood as there was only the oral being of what God spoke to men before that of Moses writing the Torah.
Without scripture that we now have in the written of the OT and NT then everything is only speculation and opinions and Christian discussions would be fruitless.

Watchman 2 in answer to your question from the OP, which I can't see why you could not see it in post #35, is yes if one would only listen to Him calling them as that has never changed. All were, have, and still are called by God as He draws all men unto Him. Many are called, but few are chosen because not everyone will answer God's call to salvation.
Are you purposely not giving a straight answer, because you already see the handwriting on the wall. That the Faith the church world claims that saves " believe and recieve", would not work for most of humanity before the 15th century.
If you can accept that truth, we can continue onto what matters, what true NT saving Faith is.
