I don't think I want to.You've never met Anton, have you?
Now! Is that fair? You done taped the poor little fella's lips shut!
I'm back from Vacation! We all had such a great time.
Driving down to the Cabin's we saw 6 Elk! Just standing in the road. It was really neat!
The first night we had pie at a restaurant and then cooked dinner at the cabin.
The next day we went horseback riding. I was so excited! I couldn't wait. So I picked the biggest horse there to ride... and once I got in the saddle I was TERRIFIED! I wanted to get off halfway down the trail, almost starting to cry. I was getting scraped by tree trunks and the trail was so narrow. We went up and down a lot the hill, and there were lots of rocks. So, my horse decided to take a shortcut on the trail going down a path and I was freaking out because it was so steep. I didn't scream or anything but I was so scared...and then, the last ten minutes of the trip I relaxed and enjoyed guiding the horse, trusting despite the bumps that I wouldn't fall out of the saddle. The guide lady kept me safe and encouraged me to keep on going and that it would get better-and it did! I learned to push against the tree trunks and the horse would follow and avoid them. It was such a great experience! I will never forget it! After riding we had lunch and then a late dinner. In between Matt and I went hiking around the creek. When we came back everyone just relaxed. I taught Matts Mom how to play Pyramid solitare. We lit a log in the fire place and laid next to it. Around 10 we went and looked at the stars. We picked the brightest one and named it M&M (Matt and Maria). So today we woke up and left the cabin. We stopped by a state park with trails and amazing views of caves and trees, hills, mountains. It was lovely. I also saw a bald eagle flying really close to our car. It was neat! So we came home, unloaded the car, and then went to one last dinner. We all ate a lot!!! The food was part of the fun though. Star did not even bark once. She was fine riding in the car. She loved sniffing around the cabin. She had a great time- you could tell. But I can say, it felt good to go, and good to come back home.
Your experience has a great deal to do with why we were chaps when we work from Horseback here. Glad you learned to relax and to work your mount.I'm back from Vacation! We all had such a great time.
