The Derailing Thread

It's so nice to have a son old enough to drive through Atlanta...so I don't have to.

I did Chattanooga...fair is fair.

*Sigh*

Children make great slaves....I mean helpers.

I live in Cumming, on Lake Lanier and fly out of Atlanta most every week for work. I have no driven in or thru Atlanta since last summer. I commute on the MARTA train to and from the airport. Oh, weekends in ATL can be ok - but weekdays? Yea, good luck with THAT....

We made it through pretty good. Traffic wasn't all that bad. Stopped in Lovejoy to pick up some ribs at Kroger's. Two hours more of driving/riding....heh heh heh.

I've finally made it...to the land where pickup trucks all have cattle guards (for the deer) and rifle racks...trash fires and farms. (We have to drive through a hay field to get to the house.)

And there are a ton of stars in the sky...more than anyone can see in the city.
And lots of bugs.
And lots of love.... except for....(cuz we don't talk about those people and they did_________)

Did you know that if, at age 56, you go for a walk in hilly country for four hours and ten minutes - that when you get home you will be hungry and tired? :)

That is why Christ said blessed is the poor, because someone that has nothing fullfils the law and are blameless because all sin comes through selfishness and poor people dont know what selfish is. They love, share, care, and appreciate the little they get.

I met a homeless man similar situation, he had a sandwich the only food he had and offered me halfs. Equals. No selfishness and greed.

They inherit the Kingdom of God.
