LOL!! I will keep this in mind next time I post a video!
I thank you and my back thanks you.

What book book are you reading?
Maybe you could share in case I've read it too.

How are these?
The Good Earth
(about starving people in China)

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
(what was he afraid of? What did he hate?)

Some, on the other hand make perfect sense:
Animal Farm
(about a bunch of animals on a farm) (who acted very human, BTW)

Ship of Fools
(yeah. We're all in the same boat)

Looking for Mr. Goodbar
(better to stop looking)

I am humbled... I am not a book connoisseur. I just REALLY like to read. :)
I've heard of some of those books, but haven't read them.
That's one reason I want a college education... to learn about famous literature.
I read random books. Whatever is my fancy at the moment. I read teen novels. I read fantasy novels. I read fiction. I read non fiction. I have many, MANY Bible teaching books to be read sitting on my book shelf.
Right now I am reading Beauty for Ashes by Joyce Meyer.
If you feel like taking on a huge book, (but is an amazing story) I recommend you read "Forever Amber" by Kathleen Winsor. It's 900+ pages. It is one of my very favorite books. It takes place in London during the 1600's. I think AirDancer would like it too.

Angel,
No college degree necessary.
In fact, it might be better.
Everyone gets something different from each book they read. This is good.
Major themes are common, but if you concentrate on that, you might miss something else!
You like romance set in the past? Read The French Lieutenant's Woman.
And regarding Forever Amber: Yes. You do like never-ending things, don't you??!!

I have to make a grocery list tonight....................bleh

Why can't I just have Christ's never ending bread and fish?

I am going to the Library soon, I will rent that book. And I 'll tell ya what i think!! :biggrin
Get ready...

Did you ever read The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis?
EVERYBODY should read that book.
It's a set of letters. And it's about the nephew of a demon.
And their conversations.
There's a human in the story too.
It might be one of us!
