I feel good.
I just had a pedicure.
A birthday present from my wife.
It's nice being pampered.
Wow! 30 years ago if someone told me I would enjoy a pedicure, I would have told them they were nuts!

Is that because you thought it was just for ladies?

Just on that thought by me....we had a terrible time last year getting my grandson, then 8, to wear shorts. He had decided it wasn't manly because his grandpas don't wear shorts or his Uncle Aaron either. :)

Yes, it was just for ladies.
I wore shorts at a wedding when I was 2 years old.
My mother said I hated it because I was all dressed up.

I am going to put some fresh blackberries on a homemade shortcake and top it with whipped cream.Do you think that will work?

Homemade shortcake? Wow. I've never had homemade shortcake before, just the store bought. Sounds good. :)

No,they have not come in yet but I am hoping I can find some and enjoy them with all the craziness that will be going on his in the next two weeks.Blackberries are one of the healthiest things you can eat.
 
Very true, Kathi ... they're great for digestion. I usually dehydrate half the blackberry yield, blend it with dried sage and loose tea for a delicious tea.

This cracked me up.I could relate because when my youngest daughter was little and she was mad at me should would write me notes.I saved about 12 of them.I then gave them to her recently and her and her husband were reading them.They both got quite a kick out of them.
