Do YOU think the Word had a name BEFORE the Word was born?
Yes, He was and still is the word. No, I'm not talking about Jesus being called Immanuel as what I'm talking about is not a name as a name is only a title like the English name Jesus, but knowing Him for who He said He is as in "I Am" or "Alpha and Omega".
The Hebrew alphabet has no vowels nor do they use capital letters so the Hebrew spelling would be yhwh for God. It was around the 8th century that the Masoretes added vowels to the Hebrew alphabet and that is where we get Yeshua and the English Jesus. This is why you see G-D written at certain times in articles as the translators try to respect the original Hebrew.
The English word Lord is used in the OT to denote God, Genesis 18:12 as an example, but also used in the NT to denote Jesus as Lord, which refers to someone who is of a higher rank like God. This is why Jesus called himself "I Am" and "Alpha and Omega" as being co-equal to God as being the very essence of God's nature. Same also applies to the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God.
All the names you find in the Bible for God and Jesus are not their actual names like our parents naming us, but man's word which represents the nature or the essence that is God like that of Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS (yhwh in Hebrew): for he shall save his people from their sins. The essence and nature of His name is that of God's plan of salvation before the foundation of the world no matter how many different names are used in the English translations they are all co-equal with God's Spirit.
In the name of Jesus for the remission of sin, but in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit for full empowerment that comes by God as His Spirit (Holy Spirit) indwells us. One baptism for remission of sin and another for the baptism of the Holy Spirit as all being the Godhead within us.

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, then it is Jesus Himself, Who is the Baptizer.
When we are baptized in water by a person, then it is done in Jesus name.
When we believe the Gospel, the Holy Spirit is the One who baptizes us not Christ.

He's confusing me a little bit.
He said the word Yeshua is not in the bible.
Jesus is an English translation for Yeshua...so I'm waiting for his reply....

I'd just like to say that in the N.T. the distinction is made between LORD ...... God Father
and Lord ....... God Son

OK that's what I understood.
We are all born of water and blood (of Jesus --- we who are born again).
Then God Father and God Son and God Holy Spirit agree with this water and blood and that makes two that unite.

The closest Name in the Hebrew word be for Joshua, which in Hebrew has the same meaning as Jesus does in the Greek.
This can also be identified from a passage in Hebrews.

I challenge you to come up with the name Joshua in Hebrew and what it means and what Jesus means, and why the scholars of one version of the Bible rendered the name Jesus in the KJV, while the scholars of the NKJV, rendered it Joshua.

John's baptism was literal, but yet symbolic for cleansing after one repented of their sin. Notice in Mark 1:8 I have baptized you with (actual) water, but he (Jesus) will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. (Not water, but baptize you with the Holy Spirit after you have repented and made clean again through the washing of the word as you become a new creation in Christ.
Jesus never baptized anyone in literal water that we know of and also instructed the Disciples to wait upon the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Acts chapter 1, and then commissioned them to go out preaching the Gospel (word/living water) and to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:16-20.

I'm not sure why...
Possibly a filter on your end that is keeping them from getting through.
You have explained this before as well as myself in post #84. If one goes back to the original Hebrew alphabet and not the modern Hebrew with vowels added it takes out so much confusion of the meaning of the English names given of God and Jesus.
I do feel it's time to move past this and get back to the topic of this thread.
