Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus. It means "Yahweh [the Lord] is Salvation."I disagree.
What language is Yeshua?

Yes. I think it's really bad for newcomers that don't know to check anyway and just leave thinking no one wrote them...Same with me, wondering. I occasionally receive alerts but mostly don't.

YHWH is God Father from the O.T. Hebrew.
But I also have read it explained that it means
the Lord is salvation.
But Lord = messiah, Jesus
LORD = YHWH, God Father
It seemed as if you were saying we are to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
JLB
It is what I am saying. Per the directive of Jesus to the disciples in Matthew 28:19 we are not just baptized in the name of Jesus alone, but through the full Godhead that is Father, Son and Holy Ghost as Jesus is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, Ephesians 3:19; Colossians 2:9.
Seven names of God as in Father, Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit being the full Godhead - Deity
1. YHWH-Yireh - Yahweh will provide - Genesis 22:13, 14
2. YHWH-Rapha - Yahweh that healeth - Exodus 15:26
3. YHWH-Nissi - Yahweh our banner - Exodus 17:8-15
4. YHWH-Shalom - Yahweh our peace - Judges 6:24
5. YHWH-Ra-ah - Yahweh is the way, my shepard - Psalms 23:1
6. YHWH-Tsidkenu - Yahweh our righteousness - Jeremiah 23:6
7. YHWH- Shammah - Yahweh is the light - Ezekiel 48:35, John 1:1-4
Hi EZ,
OK that's what I understood.
We are all born of water and blood (of Jesus --- we who are born again).
Then God Father and God Son and God Holy Spirit agree with this water and blood and that makes two that unite.
Very nice. I've never heard it described that way.
The water and blood is from here
The three are from heaven. = two units.
You are born of water and blood both physically yourself,
How do you know the seven names of God are supported by John 1:1-4?
I don’t see where baptism in water is done any other way, but in Jesus name.
Apparently Jesus name carries the authority and fulfills the requirement to baptize in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.
IOW, when we baptize in Jesus name, we are baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, as well as the Holy Spirit.
It was only #7 that I used John 1:1-4, but should have been John 1:1-9, to show Yahweh is the light being Jesus in those verses.
FHG,
Where is the NT Greek 'Yahweh' found in these verses?
Oz
I've always worshiped the Father and the Son and I don't pray to the Holy Spirit,,,but maybe we should?Food for thought....
You are born of water and blood both physically yourself, and through Jesus. You are born again, ei Born of the Spirit by the Father, not by the son; else you might be considered a grandson of God as opposed being called a Son of God.
As a Son of God, if I should say to you: if you have seen me you have seen the Father, should you then call me God the Son?
Some worship the Son as God, and know not the Father. Some worship the Father, and know not the Son. But when the witness comes full circle and heaven and earth agree, then both the Father and the Son will take abode, and you three shall become one flesh.

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 8:16
Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.
Acts 10:47-48
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Acts 19:5-6

I think ,
When you say in Jesus's name, it signify all 3.
When we pray, we ask in Jesus's name, signifying we believe that God became flesh, died for our sins, resurrected the 3rd day, which gives you authority.
We pray to The Father, in Jesus's name,
We are a believer! John 3:16
Same person, but different offices.
