The Gathering Storm: A Revelation of the Rapture

The Gathering Storm: A Revelation of the Rapture

The congregation sat in solemn anticipation, their hearts suspended on the promise Paul penned long ago. "I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep," he wrote (1 Thess. 4:13). These words rang like a clarion call through the ages, revealing that death for the believer was not a bitter end but a temporary rest. For those in Christ, death held no dominion. Loved ones who had "fallen asleep" were not lost but waiting—held in a glorious, sacred rest until heaven itself would split open, and Christ would descend to awaken them.

Paul’s words brought comfort and assurance: "If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus" (1 Thess. 4:14). Here was a hope that transcended sorrow. Just as Jesus triumphed over death, so too would all who trusted in Him. Their souls, ascended to paradise in the "third heaven" (2 Cor. 12:2-4), rested in a realm of incomprehensible peace, preserved by God. Yet their journey was not over. Christ had promised to bring them back, their souls renewed, at His return.

The skies would not remain silent forever. Before the sign of Christ’s Parousia—His “coming”—was visible, an "opening in the sky" (Rev. 19:11) would pierce the heavens. It would flash across the firmament "like lightning from the east to the west" (Matt. 24:27), the portal through which Christ and His angelic forces would enter our realm. This would be "the sign of the Son of Man," marking His arrival in power and great glory (Matt. 24:30).

Paul declared the unbreakable sequence of events, spoken "by the word of the Lord." Those alive at Christ’s coming "will by no means precede those who are asleep" (1 Thess. 4:15). The stillness of the skies would erupt with the sound of a trumpet, the voice of an archangel would echo across creation, and a mighty shout would announce His arrival. The very air would tremble as the Lord Himself descended from heaven (1 Thess. 4:16).

The scene would be unparalleled, unimaginable. First, the dead in Christ would rise, their bodies resurrected, glorified in an instant. Then, "we who are alive and remain" would be swept up with them, "in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thess. 4:17). It would be a royal gathering of the faithful, a triumphant welcome for their returning King.

And in that moment, every believer—dead or living—would undergo a transformation. "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet" (1 Cor. 15:51-52). Mortal bodies would shed their frailty, clothed in incorruption and made imperishable. The sting of death would be erased, swallowed up in eternal victory (1 Cor. 15:54).

This Rapture would take place amid the Great Tribulation, as believers suffered under the tyrannical reign of Adonikam the Beast. Persecution, fueled by refusal to accept the mark of the Beast, would push the faithful to their limits. Yet Scripture painted the timing clearly: "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus" (Rev. 14:12). The Rapture would not be an escape but a reward for enduring persecution.

John’s vision revealed the "harvest of the earth," as Jesus, "One like the Son of Man," appeared on a white cloud, crowned with a stephanos of victory (Rev. 14:14). This crown symbolized His triumph over death, and in His hand was a sharp sickle. The earth, scorched by tribulation, was ripe for harvest. At the command of an angel, Jesus would reap the faithful—those who had endured the trials and refused the Beast’s mark (Rev. 14:15-16).

But this harvest was distinct from the final judgment. A second sickle, wielded by an angel, would gather those destined for wrath. These souls would be cast into "the great winepress of the wrath of God," their rebellion culminating in a blood-soaked reckoning (Rev. 14:17-19). This judgment would unfold after the bowls of God’s wrath were poured out (Rev. 16:1-21). Like two mountain peaks separated by a hidden valley, these events—Rapture and judgment—were close in prophecy but distinct in time.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days," the sun would darken, the moon would fail to give light, and the heavens themselves would tremble. Then, the "sign of the Son of Man" would appear, and all the tribes of the earth would mourn as they saw Him coming "on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matt. 24:29-30). The opening in the sky would terrify the nations, and among the Jews, a wave of mourning would spread as they recognized the Messiah they had rejected (Zech. 12:10-11). Their blindness would be lifted as their Deliverer came out of Zion (Rom. 11:26-32).

At the sound of the trumpet, Christ’s angels would gather the Elect from the farthest reaches of heaven and earth (Matt. 24:31; Dan. 12:1-3). This cosmic assembly would culminate in the descent of Christ’s armies upon the earth. His angels would gather the enemies of God for destruction at Armageddon, where vultures would feast on their flesh (Luke 17:26-37; Rev. 19:17-21).

As the dust of Armageddon settled, judgment would begin with the house of God—the separation of the sheep and the goats. But that, as Paul might say, is a story for another time. For now, the faithful awaited the Rapture, the divine gathering, when they would meet the Lord in the air and remain with Him forever. This was the promise of the ages, the triumph of the King, and the beginning of His eternal reign.

This Rapture would take place amid the Great Tribulation, as believers suffered under the tyrannical reign of Adonikam the Beast.
Adonikam, being a Jewish man was the ancestor of a family that returned from the exile with Zerubbabel. His name translates "my Lord has risen. He was of the men of the people of Israel. Ezra 2:1-13; Nehemiah 7:5-18. If you notice Ezra says 666 and Nehemiah says 667 these are the sons of Adonikam including all the women and children in the numbering of his family, including himself, and has nothing to do with the number of the beast being 666 in Rev 13:18.

endtimenews.net gives Adonikam the number 666 as being the beast/son of perdition, but that is only the numbering of his sons, daughters and all the children in his lineage. Scripture gives very little about this man other than he was a tax collector and helped build Solomon's Temple. Everything else leading to him being the last antichrist is all speculation without any truth. Nowhere in scripture does it mention anything about a pretrib Rapture as scripture calls it being caught up to meet Jesus in the air, 1Corinthians 15:50-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. This takes place immediately after the final tribulation during the seventh trumpet sounding, being the worst tribulation that has ever been, nor will ever be again, after the reign of the beast out of the earth causing many to take the mark of the beast deceiving even the elect of God if possible. Matthew 24:29-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Rev 13; Rev 19:11-21.

You need to quit relying on endtimenews.org and get back into the word of God. 1 John 2:18-27.

EndTimesNews is my site, I own it. Everything on it I wrote.

Revelation 13:8 is a riddle. Riddles have rules to interpret them. The wording itself gives the clues how to solve it:

The Hebrews used Janus Parallelism to teach hidden meanings, and that is why Adonikam has 666 and 667 numbers. God the Holy Spirit put that in Scripture so John could use the difference to point to the same name, when the riddle is solved.

You assume parousia (coming) is one instant trip. The word means a coming-presence that people experience as a King is coming to their city. Christ raptures the church during His coming, it does not mean We go up, and He goes down immediately to the earth. There is time between the rapture and landing on the earth.

The Rapture is clearly revealed in Revelation, it happens while the Beast is persecuting the church trying to make us worship him, but before the bowls of God's wrath are poured out:

11 "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write:`Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. (Rev. 14:11-16 NKJ)

The coming of the Lord is the second coming of Christ which is the day of the Lord; the Day of Christ.

I agree, but you ignore the "sign of Christ's presence", an opening in the sky that likely will flash like lightning. How long that appears in the sky before the actualy descent onto the earth by Christ and His angels is unknown. But during that sign, Christs descends with a trumpet sound and the dead in Christ rise and the church is raptured.

There is celebration in heaven for a time, and many of the resurrected church volunteer to join Christ and His armies to fight at Armageddon.

When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew. (Ps. 110:3 NLT)

30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matt. 24:30 NKJ)

Then the Jews and all who repented upon seeing the One whom they pierced are gathered up by angels:

31 "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matt. 24:31 NKJ)

NKJ Daniel 12:1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. (Dan. 12:1 NKJ)

Then Christ and all His holy myraids descend to slay the antichrist beast, his armies and the Nephlim mighty ones. There is a great feast on their dead carcarses.

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
18 "that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
(Rev. 19:11-21 NKJ)

During this time angels go out over the earth to snatch all the wicked wherever they are, and slay them or bring them to Armageddon to die in a great heap, vultures circling overhead

32 Remember Lot's wife!
33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.
34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."
36
37 "Where, Lord?" they asked. He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."

(Lk. 17:32-18:1 NIV)

The sign of His coming will be seen by all on the earth.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. I expressly said it would shine like lightning = everyone sees it.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

This verse is speaking about the son of perdition as there is no mystery there. This will be a Luciferian system comprised of economic, political, militant, environmental and a false religious system. This beast system that Satan works through gives its power to the beast out of the earth as the beast out of the earth appears as the Lamb of God, but is a false Christ being the son of perdition, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 with two horns. The two horns represent the Old Roman Empire that received its deadly wound back in 1798 by General Berthier who made his entrance into Rome and abolished the Roman government and established a secular one. That caused them to scatter into the other ten nations (ten horns). The wound was healed in 1929 by Mussolini.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Lightning comes quickly and this will be the same with the coming of Christ who comes with clouds and every eye will see Him. There is no hole in the sky that will open as you say.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

How can you dispute what these scriptures are teaching us.

There is no scripture that says once we are caught up to meet Jesus in the air that we volunteer to fight with Jesus and His army of angels.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Nephlim

This is where we differ in our understanding of what the word Nephilim means as it has been traditionally taught to be angels who came down and procreated with women by marrying and having children with them, but this is a false teaching. Only God can incarnate His angels into human form for the purpose of His ministry, not for procreation.

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The way I read this verse is that there were giants in the earth in those days before the flood and also after the flood when the sons of God (Godly line of Seth named in Genesis 5) as they all had sons and daughters, but not all of these sons and daughters obeyed God and fell away from Him and let's not forget the ungodly line of Cain that some of these sons and daughters might have married into Cain's line came in unto the daughters of men and they bare children to them, as some had the hereditary autosomal dominant pituitary gene such as AIP that produces Nephilim/giants the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (this gene had to start with Adam).

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance - Nephilim
Part of Speech: noun masculine
Transliteration: Nephilim
Phonetic Spelling : nef-eel
Definition: "giants", name of two people, one before the flood and one after the flood

By this definition these angels would have to have come down two different times to marry the daughters of men. Once before the flood and again after the flood, but we only find this one time in Genesis 6:1, 2.

There is no such thing as a half angel, half human hybrid called Giants. Nephilim is just a name given to giants that we read about in scripture and even those that are living today being over 6 feet and taller.

Rephaim - race of giants Genesis 14:5-7; Deuteronomy 3:11-13; 2 Samuel 21:16-20, Og the king of Bashan was the last of the Rephaim
Anakim - race of giants Numbers 13:33; Deuteronomy 2:10; 9:2 Anak son of Arba Joshua 15:13 descendent of Canaan, son of Ham
Emim - the proud deserters, terrors, race of giants Genesis 14:5-7; Genesis, 19:37; Deuteronomy 2:10, 11 descendants of Canaan, son of Ham
Zuzim/Zamzummim's the evil ones, roaming things Genesis 14:5-7, 19:38 Deuteronomy 2:20 descendants of Canaan, son of Ham

It's just like the name Lucifer/Satan/prince of darkness/Beelzebub/father of lies and many more names given to this fallen angel. Satan is nothing more than a fallen angel that goes to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it as he still has access to the throne room of God as he stands accusing the brethren as Jesus sits and makes intercession for us. Satan is the opposite of God's goodness as his evil hierarchy includes the third of the angels that have followed after him as he sends them throughout the earth for his destructive purpose in man, 1 Peter 5:8.

This is where we differ in our understanding of what the word Nephilim means as it has been traditionally taught to be angels who came down and procreated with women by marrying and having children with them, but this is a false teaching. Only God can incarnate His angels into human form for the purpose of His ministry, not for procreation.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 2 Peter 2:4-5

What was the sin of the angels in the days of Noah?

Only God can incarnate His angels into human form for the purpose of His ministry, not for procreation.

And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; Jude 1:6

The angels did not keep their proper domain but left their abode in the realm of spirit and God punished them for this.

How am I disputing? What. Focus on one text, and explain how I am contradicting it.

And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; Jude 1:6

The angels did not keep their proper domain but left their abode in the realm of spirit and God punished them for this.
That happened at Noah's flood.

Noah's flood happened because of the activity of these angels, as they corrupted the human race.
That is correct. That's why the abyss is filled with demons waiting to be let out when God lifts all restraint on evil, the first woe of spiritism is released:

CSBO Revelation 9:1 The fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth. The key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him.
2 He opened the shaft of the abyss, and smoke came up out of the shaft like smoke from a great furnace so that the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the shaft.
3 Then out of the smoke locusts came to the earth, and power was given to them like the power that scorpions have on the earth.
4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green plant, or any tree, but only people who do not have God's seal on their foreheads.
5 They were not permitted to kill them, but were to torment them for five months; their torment is like the torment caused by a scorpion when it strikes a man.
6 In those days people will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will flee from them.
7 The appearance of the locusts was like horses equipped for battle. On their heads were something like gold crowns; their faces were like men's faces;
8 they had hair like women's hair; their teeth were like lions' teeth;
9 they had chests like iron breastplates; the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses rushing into battle;
10 and they had tails with stingers, like scorpions, so that with their tails they had the power to harm people for five months.
11 They had as their king the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
(Rev. 9:1-11 CSBO)

Those who do not have the seal of God are those who serve demons.

They will get what they have been serving.

Those who do not have the seal of God are those who serve demons.

Are you saying angels have the seal of God, demons do not. Where did you read that, which scripture?

We were talking about angels. Who are you talking about now?
