Also i always didn't get something about part 3.If the agents can hop into anybody they want as long as they are not awakened from the matrix's delusional nature.Then why in part 3 didn't they take over everybody who was still jacked into the matrix to fight smith and neo?How many people on here like the matrix ?My favorite is part 2 because of the scene were bane is copied over.
since none of these things are of the Lord I would rather not pollute my mind with what if's that give no glory to the Lord.

I just thought of it as science fiction
There's really pretty much of a parallel in the movies to the beliefs most of us Christians just accept as being "the way things really are." We live content to keep on taking the wrong pill; the Blue, the one we always swallowed (were programed with) as we grew up believing what we experience in our churches is the real Christianity Jesus taught.

Nothing is ever "just something" when it's coming out of the movie industry. Hollywood is the devils playground. Satan is a liar and a master of deception and he uses that expertise to plant seeds of doubt. He mixes in just enough truth with his lies to make his message appear righteous.

Movies are a product of the world. A world that Christians are forbidden to emulate.

I'm more of an anime watcher than a movie watcher these days.

I didn't see anything in the matrix that portrayed a mixture of Biblical truth with lies. It was all just a science fiction movie, nothing to be taken seriously. I do agree that Hollywood has movies that are not appropriate for Christians.

I liked Matrix I. All the ladies kept their clothes on as far as I know. And the plot mirrors Christianity. The program we're all blindly following is sin and the ways of this world. The Chosen one is the appointed one that will open the eyes and minds of the controlled ones and set them free from the 'program'. It's pure entertainment, but it makes me think about Christ and his plan. And it's clean so it's a thumbs up for me.

It is just a movie .I liked the first one the most frank although ive never seen the other ones all the way through.

Hmmm. Interesting brother. Consider a television. It's a light transmitter. That's what it does.
I've thought for a long time that Hollywood is the PR department of the government, and since the prince of the power of the United States runs the government, it makes sense that they run Hollywood. Everything goes through Hollywood. They shape peoples minds and get them ready for things and tell them how they should think.
It was right after the Roswell event that all the UFO movies started coming out. Many times they tell what's going to happen in the future before it happens. What's coming out of Hollywood right now?
They're getting people ready for the Alien event. Open contact is coming. All sorts of hybrid movies are out. Avatar, Species, all that sort of thing. You watch brother, all this stuff is coming.
I saw parallels from the movie Matrix. From what the Physicists are saying now (IRL) is that it can be proven that we live in a digital simulation.I'm not saying that we're all hooked up to a machine somewhere providing energy (that was the entertainment part), but the constants of the universe are not constant. There is no infinity, there are limits and this has been proven, both in the macrocosm and the microcosm. They say that it was proven by taking a particle and cutting it in half, and then in half again, and then in half again, and so on. In theory you should be able to do this ad infinitum, but this is not so! When it gets down to -42 to the (I forget, some ridiculously small microscopic size) that the particle then instead of becoming half size again...it ceases to have locality at all. This disproves infinity. So we live in what is but a shadow of a larger reality that we are unable to see. but it can be inferred mathematically.
Pretty wild stuff. And not necessarily against scripture when you consider that the heavens can be rolled up like a scroll.

Disney is a whole other animal.
The Matrix does not try to portray good or bad. There is no attempt to mislead. As a believer, I know what I am going into before I watch it.
Disney on the other hand, whom many believers let their kids watch with no thought, thinking it can't be bad, need a recheck.
One of many examples is the Rescuers down under.
The film was released in 1977 and 1999 Disney gets around to announcing a recall.
So kids for all those years got that subliminal picture of a women with no top on.
The Matrix was OK, I knew what I was getting into. Something that says I am white, but it's really black, I have issues with that.
one of my favorite movies is Final Destination. The Director did a great job of how the World deals with the supernatural and the fear they have. I don't suggest believers watch it, it's a horror movie.
In the movie people that were suppose to die, live and a spirit of death goes to hunt them down in gruesome ways to make up for it's mistake. The people consult witches, mediums and try to get all sorts of help but Jesus.
Watch what you allow in!!!! Guard your hearts, because even things that have no nudity (Unlike Disney cartoons) Things can be put in to hinder your faith, and get you thinking on the wrong things.
