God's perfect Lamb is our Saviour...

Joh_1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

IMO the Cross is the center of time, not time as in number of years, It is/was the center of God's plan..His universe.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but you are right. Wow, a dividing line. B.C. & A.D. As much as the atheist can shout their disapproval, The dating is in their face. I'm surprised they haven't tried to change it.

the idea of the center of the world to jews is the city of Jerusalem. why? because there the Lord in heaven touched the earth. its where the heavenlies touched the earth. this was changed at the cross. now its wherever a saint goes and does god's will. why that was and is taught in Judaism. we have the full measure given to us by god.

:goodpostI really like your post Jason, I had never thought of it that way, Wow, and just to think, there will be a new Jerusalem when Yahweh creates the new heavens and earth. Thank you for sharing that.:amen
 
that could be taken that way. I have that leaning but I don't think it will be a place like the old Jerusalem. we can worship god were we are and talk to him the same. god did this with adam.

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

What does the tense of "ye are come" mean to you guys?
To me it says we are there . When i look around i see we don't act like it. Like the spoiled brat at Christmas who just wants more... We want this and that, God sent us His Son..... forgives us our sin, sent the Comforter, Tells us we reign in life and we pretend it is nothing...we want something more, something new, something different,

You are absolutely right Reba. It's a shame that we don't live our lives with the knowledge that we actually live in what Almighty Yahweh has provided us through the shed blood of Yahweh. Once in a while I like to use Their proper Names.

Not only do we want more, but we want to do more.

We want to add to what Jesus did, by doing the external, visible things that the law of Moses required, such as,

Not picking up sticks on the Sabbath.

Removing the yeast out of our home on the week of Passover.

Observing special feast days.

Wearing special clothing that is not a blend of cotton.

Not eating certain foods.

If we can do these things and many more like them, plus what Jesus did, THEN, we will be right with God (righteous).

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:3-4

you called him eretz? the land? jason isn't a Hebrew name. my middle name is and well my last name is Hebrew but not in the bible.

We are to warn others of the approaching enemy.

Jesus came and declared the kingdom of Heaven, He sent his apostles forth preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and Paul made known the mystery of the kingdom that has been hidden since the foundations. Please tell me, where in the scriptures you are commanded to warn others of an approaching enemy? Who is the enemy? And how do you turn any to righteousness by showing them unrighteousness?

6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.' 7 "So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. 8 When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. 15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:15,21

45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

The consequences for taking the mark of the beast and worshiping him is:

"If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." Revelation 14:9-11


Have you yourself ever warned anyone of these consequences?


The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life to turn one away from the snares of death. Proverbs 14:27

So you would like a warning? How about: You have worshiped Jesus in the image of his death, and you faithfully wash your sins in his blood, but it is time to rise from your slumber. For Christ has come, and we shall worship Him in the image of His resurrection.
