I felt a good one about 2 years ago.I was laying on the couch reading a book and the house did not sway it just violently jerked.It was about a 5.I live by Battle Ground,Wa.I think you might know where that is.

Oh sure, I know Battle Ground! I'm in Blaine. The closer you are to the epicenter the more violent the quakes are. A 5 can feel like a bomb going off if you are close to it!

Yes,I also heard it depends on how deep it is.

Yes,but that is what they are predicting for the Pacific NW.Only God knows when but we have been warned now by Geologists for awhile.

The San Andreas fault is do to act up, but I pray it does not go up to a 7, 8 or 9. Because if it does there will be many, many deaths and a 8 or 9 will break up bridges and and buildings. Japan builds buildings that can give and some of them are on like rollers with counter weights on the roofs.

Our news here has said it will be at least a 9.Yes it will do a tremendous amount of damage.Authorities have been trying for a couple of years to get some of the bridges up to date for this quake.

Yes Kathi the San Andreas fault is going to give you all a good one, we just don't know the day that those tectonic plates will do their thing.

Yep, he was from the Seattle area, about 110 miles south of me.

The last time I was in Canada you did not need a passport.All you needed was one piece of ID.

The problem is the American gestapo, er, uh... I mean customs agents. They won't let you back into the US without either a passport or an "enhanced" driver's license, which I THINK are only available to people living close to the border. There's been more than one person who accidentally missed the offramp and was forced to go through Canadian customs to turn around, then when the came to American customs they got detained and treated like terrorist suspects for many hours.
