The Tiny House Movement

Yeah, never been there but I know Florida has some of the best boating areas in the world!
the only issue I see with that is also that well storms and hurricanes. and well you do if its hooked up to a doc, pay for the slip and electric. I used to read the city marina's 50 or so meters.

Are you sure you want to do that? Remember, I'm a male chauvinist pig :lol. I may treat you poorly.

But if you really want to be one, fill out an application and leave it with my property manager. I'll look at it in the morning...if I feel like it.
Oh just a nice bowl of porridge in the morning will do.Most owners of a Castle were chauvinist pigs...right?

How many cooking tanks a month is being used on the boat ?
Cooking tanks? You mean like propane tanks? If so, it depends a lot on the weather since it's heated with a combo of propane and electric too. This summer 2 five gallon tanks lasted me 4 months. But in the winter if we get a cold snap I can go through that much in a few days! Most boats aren't insulated very well, and it can be in the mid teens and windy here for days at a time.

there are also a few rv parks/trailer parks left. the nicest one is pretty good for what I have seen. I used to live in an rv. talk about cramped space.

I'll pass on the hurricanes, thank you! Same here on the dock. Pay for slip rent and electric. Fresh water is free.

Yeah, most RVs are smaller than my boat. I live alone so I could do it if I had to, but I hope not to have to! There's a lot of trailer parks around the Pacific Northwest area, but the nicer ones are really expensive and the less expensive ones have a lot of people in them that I would prefer not to live around! The other people in the marina where I live are all really great people to be around.

I think I would rather deal with a hurricane(week warning) then a sudden shake or volcanic ash with may be a month at the most of a warning if you get one.

our city council pondering getting rid of our marina. they didn't know one hundred thirty years ago that was the only way to get into vero.

Some are better than others, but none can compare to a well insulated house. You really can't have 6" thick walls and roofs stuffed with insulation on a boat. Of course, you can also put up the sails and head to the tropics too... :-)

Yeah or unless you go down there where Jason is, and then you run the risk of waking up with your boat upside down, or 5 miles inland on top of a residential house roof.
