Third Temple Update

vet, we are only disagreeing here mostly on the issue of who the antichrist is and who the thing is that will cause the falling away of the decieved. i am not disagreeding the satan and angels will literally be cast down. I am saying that satan or any other angel will not posses one man who will be " the antichrist" but that the enemy does nothing except mimic the same pattern God does. There is a spirit from the bottomless pit that will come and inhabit the decieved who fall away. that spirit is apollyon, the little horn. not a singular man who will sit in a physical temple. but an unclean spirit who will exalt himself in people who were part of the body of Christ. the temple of God. then those people will fall away and depart from us which reveals who they were as paul says and john describes it like when those antichrists leave us it will be manifest that they were not of us.

Just because something is spoken of in the singular does not scripturally mean always that it is one singular person. Often it means that it is a corporate body of people that are united in the same purpose or spirit.
We especially see this in end time characters. we see the " woman" is spoken of as one woman but she is not one almost everyone agrees with that. the "manchild" is spoken of in singular but then a couple verses down is shown to be a " they". Those same people in is 66 are shown to be a singular " manchild" and then said to be " her children" showing they are many. We are told in the word that we who are many members make up the body- singular- of Christ and that we will even as a body come into the unity of the faith unto A perfect man singular built up into the measure and stature and fullness of Christ singular. we also see the end time harlot and all agree this is not one woman who is a prostitue or who cheats on her husband, it is a system of many people who are spoken of in the singular.

All these are many membered bodies that are unified in some spirit and purpose who are spoken of throughout scripture in the singular form although they literally contain many individual people.

as far as spiritualizing, just because something is spiritual in meaning does not mean it does not literally happen- it literally happens in the spirit. The problem with not wanting to " spirtualize" things in the word of God is that the understanding of prophecy is spiritually understood and we have to know who and what things are spiritually to be able to see what will literally happen. Do we believe a literal monster beast is gonna come out of the ocean? of course not we are told the seas are peoples and we are told all through the word of God, most clearly in daniel that beasts are kingdoms ( not individual men) ruled over by spirits.

That idea of spirit possession for the antichrist is definitely one point where you and I differ, strongly. In the Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 references about Satan, God said He was going to show him that he's nothing but "a man".

That doesn't mean Satan inhabiting the flesh body of someone else. It means his angelic body de facto coming to earth and manifesting on earth how the angels manifested to people as written throughout The Bible. That's the kind of idea the Rev.12:7-9 Scripture is giving, his literally being cast out of Heaven down to this earth, in person, as himself, with the image of man that God originally created him with.

Throw away the Hollywood movies on this one, for Satan is going to appear on earth with the image that God created him with, the image of man'. This world ain't ready for that, for it's gotten away from understanding The Biblical difference between the earthly and the heavenly, and how the heavenly order can manifest here among the earthly, forgetting that the angelic body doesn't have to be born in flesh to appear on earth:

Heb 13:2
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
(KJV)

For that to be true, it has to mean the angels can appear on earth looking just like men. No wings attached to their backs, not flying around, but like literal flesh men appear, yet they aren't in the flesh. Genesis 18 with the "three men" that appeared to Abraham is a good lesson on that. And how do you think Jacob wrestled with the Angel of The Lord as written? (Gen.32).

Job 1:7
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, "Whence comest thou?" Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."
(KJV)

Rev 12:7-8
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
(KJV)

The message is that Satan is going to be booted OUT of Heaven with that war. That means he won't be held in the pit to have his dominions possess people, he's coming in person.

Rev 12:13
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
(KJV)

Luke 10:18
18 And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
(KJV)

Rev 6:12-13
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
(KJV)

Not only is the devil going to appear on earth in his angelic form, but his angels are coming with him ("stars"; see Rev.12:3-4 also about his first rebellion).

That event isn't going to be like Rosemary's Baby type stuff. He's coming as a beautiful angel. That's how he will work great signs and wonders on the earth that will be so strong, that it would almost fool Christ's elect.

I don't think you've yet learned how Satan used this earth in his original rebellion...

Rev 12:3-4
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: ....

Satan's original rebellion against God was made up of a system on earth that had "seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns". We're to mark that system of old that had only 'seven crowns' with the one of Rev.13:1 which is to have 'ten crowns'. Ezekiel 31 is even a parable about that time when Satan first rebelled on the earth. He used this earth for his original rebellion. The big pimple to pop in the last days is his attempt to do it again, from Jerusalem, the area where God said He chose to dwell forever. This is why our Lord Jesus showed that time when he is cast down to this earth will be a tribulation the like that has never been before for this world age. So when Rev.11 shows that beast that ASCENDS from the bottomless pit to kill God's two witnesses in Jerusalem, that's literal, for that's about his casting out of the heavenly to this earth in person. As much as his servants would probably love if he possessed their flesh body, that's not how he will manifest.

But I'm sure those who wrongly believe our Lord Jesus isn't going to rule here on earth de facto in Person probably have a problem understanding all that.
