The Father is the only true God. No mention of a Son and Holy Spirit here being God. Why? Because Jesus doesn't mince words. The Father is holy and Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what the Father is.
John 17
3Now this is eternal life, that they may know
You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
No mention of someone else named the Holy Spirit knowing the Father and Son.
Matthew 11
27All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
Only the Spirit of God knows the thoughts of God? That means the Son and Father have no idea what they are thinking. That's because the Spirit of God is just another name for the Father, not a different person from Himself anymore than one's spirit is a different person from themselves.
1 Corinthians 2
11For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too,
no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
These are some important points to consider. The Bible doesn't support the Trinity. Now that you seem to be Trinitarian I would like to discuss that with you.
The Spirit of God is never used as another name for the Father. As I posted above:
Act 16:6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by
the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.
Act 16:7 And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but
the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. (ESV)
Rom 8:9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact
the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have
the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. (ESV)
Gal 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent
the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" (ESV)
Php 1:19 for I know that through your prayers and the help of
the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, (ESV)
Heb 10:15 And
the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us;
for after saying,
Heb 10:16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares
the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”
Heb 10:17
then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” (ESV)
It's worth noting that the writer of Hebrews equates the Holy Spirit with Yahweh, speaking as Yahweh in the OT. (It's all the more interesting as he also has the Father calling the Son Yahweh in 1:10-12.)
1Pe 1:10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully,
1Pe 1:11 inquiring what person or time
the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. (ESV)
It's also worth noting here that we similarly see that the OT prophets prophesied by the "Spirit of Christ." So, the Holy Spirit is known also as the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of his Son, among other names. And, it was by the Holy Spirit that the OT prophets prophesied.
Apart from all of that, it makes no sense that the Holy Spirit is another name for the Father, as it would be pointless or redundant in every use, and makes no sense contextually in other uses, such as:
Luk 10:21 In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. (ESV)
Luk 11:13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (ESV)
Joh 14:26 But
the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom
the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (ESV)
Joh 15:26 “But when
the Helper comes,
whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. (ESV)
Joh 16:13 When
the Spirit of truth comes,
he will guide you into all the truth, for
he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Joh 16:14
He will glorify me, for
he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
Joh 16:15
All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you. (ESV)
Act 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. (ESV)
1Pe 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you. (ESV)
Clearly, the Holy Spirit
cannot be another name for the Father.
