UFO Disclosure

If the UFO phenomenon is true, as I suspect it is, then the ramifications of it are Earth shaking! Its not just a matter of whether they exist or not. It changes everything! Science, history, politics, religion(unless your Catholic, cause the Pope has a favorable view of aliens. Indeed he said he would baptize them) economics and finance etc.
uhm no. the matter of what really changes. oh another sientience race to fight, conquer, or be conquered.

Care to elaborate more on that? How would it not change the things I mentioned? Of Course it would, are you kidding? Think about it.

I suppose there are those who would stoop to such a base mentality.

So do you have anything relevant to say?
Hi JonMJ33, top of the morning to you.
Relevancy? :) Probably as much as Letterman gave Yeti in his skit.
I’ll just give a couple thoughts, and them far fetched.

To have even reached this planet, they would have to be so far advanced to our science, and yet they are afraid of having their picture taken, taking command of us, or even contacting us?

I’m just taking online estimates of the distance to the nearest habitable planets (Of course those may be as credible as estimates of dinosaur bones being two hundred million years old) being thirteen light years away. http://io9.com/the-closest-known-potentially-habitable-planet-is-13-li-1585896900
1 light year in miles is 5.88 x 1012 miles. And if you don’t know scientific notation, that’s 5,880,000,000,000 miles. Or 5.88 trillion miles. http://www.universetoday.com/39630/light-year-in-miles/
Does this equate to a space voyager traveling at the speed of sound taking thirteen years to get here?

Oh wait, doesn’t Star Wars or others have space warp potential, or quantum leap abilities of instant transference? All this makes me wonder why they appear is such antiquated vehicles of transportation when they arrive. Of course the use of holograms is another possibility, but at thirteen light years distance, if a decision needs to be made to turn left or right does it take thirteen years to accomplish?

Lastly I propose Pluto, one of our much nearer planets with wrong scientific calculations as to its size. Do you really want to go down that road of error?

History.we haven't x
changed .so instead of fighting over colonies, free trade on earth .just swap it with aliens with better technology.you are swapping hope with world peace via Jesus to aliens
we cheated, robbed, murdered Indians for land, and they killed us in self defense nor were they peaceful. Do you really believe if we know they aren't out there we won't spy on them? Steal tech, and in the process spark a war?

:rofl2People believe what they want to believe.
I don't want to believe anything except the truth. I have zero problems being wrong. In fact I make it a point to figure out what is wrong with what I believe. I like it when I find that I am wrong about something, because it means I am one step closer to truth. Do you have anything worthwhile to contribute to the conversation?

What do you believe?

They don't need to be apart of a cover up per se. Anyone who takes the UFO subject seriously gets scorned and ridiculed, and as such serves as reason enough to not report on the issue for fear of losing their job. However, they are at times reported on the main stream news. Larry King has had several airings with the prime story being the UFO phenomenon. Also, consider the Chicago O'Hare Airport sighting:

For the record, I was a Christian for 25 years, then agnostic then hard core militant atheist. Now I am not really sure what I am. I know I don't like labels, and am much more open to things after all that I have learned thus far.

Really? Are you sure about that? Not to mention, it seems as though you are assuming that everyone in the government knows what everyone else in the government knows? This is absolutely not the case!!
Consider this excerpt from the Washington Post's two year investigative report called "Top Secret America:"

Its called compartmentalization. I was in the Army Reserve for 8 years and experienced just a fragment of what compartmentalization is truly capable of! It is a powerful tool!!!

So the government found a way to justify wasting more billions of dollars without question. This is not new, and has nothing to do with Aliens. When I was in the Air force, I saw a saucer shape aircraft made by McDonnell Douglas and assembled at Scott Air Force Base, a prototype of the new spy planes. (Which they crashed in UT) all with the security clearance of a shuttle driver who had to wait in the top secret facilities for high ranking personal. It looked like a flying saucer to me.

The point though is that if I could see them build this thing as I visited each day, then there had to be thousands of others like me with security clearance that we should not have, see and prove all kinds of other things, and there is no proof, nothing concrete, and nothing our government is hiding concerning UFO's.

All I had to do was sign some papers, and get my yellow badge, you give the government far to much credit on keeping things secret.

As for a Christian for 25 years, not possible unless your the most unfaithful friend someone can have, as nobody leaves Jesus, knowing him, knowing the power of his healing, help, and deliverance and speaking to him and following him. People just don't leave their souce of Help and protection, as people don't think that way. People keep those things that help them in life, they don't discard them.

You should say you were religious in a cult like way, you would not have left the person, no sane person would. You left a religion, you never knew Jesus.

Mike.

I have studied UFOs intensely for nearly 50 years and have had one legitimate sighting (a small disk paced my car at very close range, and both occupants clearly saw it). The best current thinking on UFOs has pretty much nothing to do with aliens in the sense of flesh-and-blood beings in nuts-and-bolts craft who travel here from other star systems. The Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis just doesn't fit the facts. The best thinking involves an interaction with another dimension or a parallel (or higher) reality. Even among those who are not religious, the notion of UFOs as "demonic" (or at least "spiritual and malevolent") is taken seriously and has gained popularity in recent years. The demonic theory actually does fit the facts quite well - as well as the facts of the related "alien abduction" phenomenon. One thing I know for sure (and many other serious researchers have noted as well): too much involvement with UFOs is not a healthy thing and is potentially dangerous.

"Secret military technology" is one of the theories that absolutely does not fit the facts. Especially over the past 20 years, "secret military technology" does explain (or at least could explain) a fair number of incidents, but there is no way it explains the UFO phenomenon. Just as an example, there is a heavy psychic/paranormal component associated with many, many UFO incidents (including mine). The UFO phenomenon is definitely "spiritual" in nature (regardless of whether you mean "spiritual" in a religious sense or more of a "too weird to be accommodated by our physics" sense). Anyone who has actually studied the UFO literature - and I'm talking about thousands of books and reports - knows this is true. Some dinosaurs like Stanton Friedman still promote the Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis, but no one thinks "secret military technology" explains the UFO phenomenon. I suspect the government does have some startling information on UFOs that even the President or the Director of the CIA will never see, but my guess is that the government is as puzzled as the rest of us. A book by a credible author (or at least as credible as anyone in this field ever is) was published last year in which the author claimed the "demonic" theory is taken seriously by a segment within the U.S. government; I haven't read it, so I can't comment.

I have seen devils Runner, have a scare on my nose from one. They show up as Ghost, pretending to be dead loved ones, they bang doors, and one very common one people say is pull the covers off their bed, call your name real loud at night. Nothing new here. Can they make groups of people see things in the sky? I would not put it past them.

One thing devils don't do, and can not do is validate what they do as truth. They might confuse lots of people with objects in the sky, but that is all they will be. They have no ability to take things to scientific fact, and I can promise that the devil would love everyone to believe that some supreme alien life is really the origin of all of us. They can't get it done.

So we are trying to measure spirit things with natural things, and it's just not going to work out. The government is just as clueless about it as we are.

A whole lot of accounts of abduction talk about a dirty UFO insides, like not clean, Not high tech. Tracking them, they don't go anywhere, they just vanish, which brings up that extra dimension theory. Christians reported they flee in the name of Jesus, and won't come around someone anointed of God.

I Don't Know, but it's not what a whole lot of folks think it is.

That is one thing that we do know brother, is that the aliens or whatever are absolutely subject to the name of Yashua. The unknown details of their origin, modes of transportation and agenda are actually fairly moot. We do not have to fear them and do have authority over them in Christ.

Since scripture does not hint at the existence of beings from other planets, but only describes mankind, and beings of a spiritual nature (both good and evil), and a spiritual war going on, that's all we need to know in order to deal with them if the occasion arises.

The known facts that we do have is that all beings are subject to God, and that our spiritual enemies use deception as their primary tool of war. Any incident or meeting with a so called alien can be expected to be lies on their part, and any alien or extra-terrestrial should be immediately tested as described in scripture.

Could be an interesting topic: "Are aliens sinners?"

Could be an interesting topic: "Are aliens sinners?"

I'd say absolutely. There's two possibilities here, right? Either the "aliens" are demonic, as postulated based on Genesis 6 and therefore sinners in that they are wandering spirits already condemned to hell as sinners, or...they are 'from other planets and star systems' so...we fall back to scripture on that and recall that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and..thou shalt have no other Gods before me. (Apparently, the aliens are taking credit for 'seeding' this planet to make man and so forth, making them liars and sinners)
I don't recall any scriptures which make exception for any beings with respect to the Lord our God who made all
John 1:3
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made./(KJV)

with nothing about except the aliens from beta reticuli or whatever, lol.

So yes, aliens are sinners too. Lying, demonic, spirit of the anti-Christ. :)

That is assuming 'aliens' even exist.

What if aliens don't have hearts? When it comes to internal wickedness and deceit it may seem to me that our internal world may in fact be the most vile in the entirety of all of creation.

Ecclesiastes 9:3
This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Do you think we'll be honest with them about this fact? Or will it just be obvious to them?

The book of enoch? Really?

This is a clear cut case of what happens to people who believe what is on the internet. The U.S has already released all known files concerning the matter.......

I'm assuming this whole post was tongue-in-cheek. But in case anyone took it seriously, for the record I have had a paper copy of the book of Enoch for about 30 years now long before Internet was a common household service. As a matter of fact, the book is starting to fall apart. Yes, the Internet has Enoch on it for newer (younger) people who maybe did not have opportunity to read older paper copies already in circulation, but the Internet was not the initial source of people's awareness about the book. Some groups, such as the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, still accepts it as canon. Other Christian groups, while saying it is not inspired, value it for it's religious content. That's the stance I take. I sheds more detailed light on the passages of Genesis 6 and the angels involved. The bible seems to consider the reader just being made aware of the occurrence, but not to place excessive emphasis on it. However, in end times this seems to occur again as evidenced by so-called "extraterrestial" sightings, and will have a role in the Satanic inspired characters in the end of days.

The book takes what the bible did not mention, and suggests the Son's of God means angels despite the Holy Spirit not using the Word messenger and these spirits created as servants are somehow able to have children with humans.
Also the Word Giant is a definition carry over from the Arabic language. So missing in Gen are Angels, and Giants.

Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
(Luk 3:38)
The Line of Seth, were the Sons of God, coming from Adam, Adam from God.The Line that should have been serving God, did not.
naphal.: means to fall, which the men did who should have been serving God. The Giant part came from a definition out of the Arabic language, not belonging to the original Hebrew. God said all flesh had been corrupted before me, God never said a blessed thing about created servants, angels, or anything else.

Angels would need DNA, they would need to be created flesh and blood as each seed produces after it's own kind.

Men are called Sons of God, not angels.
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
(Hos 1:10)

The Holy Spirit even knowing ahead our crazy doctrines gave us Word to stop the folly of this thinking.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son
, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
(Heb 1:5)

At no time would God have mentioned Angels are his son, Job is the only place it's not very clear who Satan presented himself with, or where He was at.

Enoch might be great fantasy reading, but it certainly does not have a place understanding scriptures.

Mike.

Who said anything about fear? Our own civilization has reasons why we don't make contact with certain isolated tribes in the Amazon for example. Read the article that I site below, but when reading it, think of the tribes as the humans and the outside world as the ET's. This will give you some idea of the issue of contact.
When and how to make contact with isolated tribes is a hotly contested issue among anthropologists and groups that aim to protect these vulnerable people.-ScienceMag.org
In some cases we do make contact with these tribes for very specific reasons, sometimes for unfortunate reasons and at other times to help with their survival. It is not that difficult to understand the value of a so called "Prime Directive" that could be in existence. Also there is the likelihood that malevolent entities would not completely follow such a "prime directive." In this case while they may not completely follow a prime directive, it may also not be in their best interest to completely reveal themselves as it would mean giving up one of their greatest assets, SECRECY. This concept can be understood from a Biblical perspective as well, you know the idea of "the greatest lie is to convince the world that the devil does not exist." Once you are convinced that such malevolency does not exist, it can continue its work in the shadows.

What makes these vehicles antiquated?
So basically, are you using the problem of technology or the supposed scientific impossibility as an argument against the possibility of ET and human contact? If so, it is common knowledge within the scientific community that it is theoretically possible to traverse the universe with (FTL)faster than light travel? If we need to have a discussion on theoretical physics, I am all game. Furthermore, it is not unreasonable to assume that an advance civilization has been able to get past such FTL obstacles.

Oh I see what you are saying. I actually believe that what you have pointed out has and is already happening. I don't think that aliens are our saviors, and I believe an awful lot of shenanigans are going on behind the scenes. There is also the likelihood that there exist both malevolent and benevolent ET's, both of which could be locked into some kind of conflict with each other. What I mean by the reality of these entities changing the world is that, if UFO's are real, and if we have already made contact with these beings than we are aware that such technology exists. This technology obviously does not run on oil/gas. The kind of tech involved would eliminate the need for oil, which in and of itself would turn the world upside down. Civilization literally runs because of our consumption of energy. Currently that energy is mainly oil, and there are few elites that are in charge of that oil. Our global economic and financial institutions are founded in the "petro-dollar" and they do not want to give up that power. Inserting a kind of tech that cannot be monetized by the power hungry and greedy would unsettle the entire infrastructure.
Science would change for obvious reasons I think. Religions would be shaken and would quickly scramble to make sense of it all.
Not to mention the fact that if disclosure were to happen, the world would be furious and would demand answers. How long have they been hiding this from us? How have they hide it from us? Perhaps people would call for "heads to roll" because of such a vast cover up?
