What do you suppose happened after those three days and 3 nights He spent in the heart of the earth???
The "sign of Jonah" was Christ's resurrection!
I'll let others draw their own conclusions about the reliability of your views with regards to the Bible.

Your question doesn't make sense. How would I know except by Jesus?
I was speaking of the Pharisees. Re. The parable of the weeds. Also note Jesus called them plants. 'Then the disciples came and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying? He answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up."
It's not necessary to bold words or make them larger. I can see your words.
I agree you can take it to be his resurrection though Jesus didn't say it. He said as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, he would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
But in what sense was this a sign? Was it a sign he was the Christ. I would think so. Or was it a sign of the times? Mt. 16: 1-4, Jesus speaks of a sign of the times. If his resurrection was the sign, then how was it a sign of the times? Mt. 12 speaks of judgment and condemnation.
I still take Mt. 12 as a sign of the times. So when I see the men of Nineveh condemning this generation, I take it to be a sign judgment is near.

First of all, it's not anything anyone can "take" from the text! Jesus was clear as to what this sign meant!
{10} Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land. Jonah 2:10 (NASB)
Just as Jonah walked out of the belly of the fish, Christ walked out of the belly of the earth! He rose again! That is the resurrection! And His resurrection would be the only sign that evil and adulterous generation - the one that crucified Him - would get!

I said his generation saw him doing miracles and other signs. And many came to believe he was the Christ including the disciples. So how can you say his generation would only get one sign?
And he didn’t say, ‘just as Jonah walked out of the belly of the fish‘. Now you’re adding to his words. And again, how was it a sign of the times?
Why don’t you refute my argument for a change?

Date setters not withstanding - HEY!! I still have my copy of 88 reasons the Rapture will be in 1988 - it proves Biblically, and CONCLUSIVELY that it'll happen in 1988 during the Fall Feasts!!!!

But we've BEEN in the "End times" for 2000 years now, and the restoration of the "Visible Church" that started 500 years ago is progressing nicely. God's schedule for the age is ON time, and In Budget. I personally think there are some things that need to happen FIRST, Paul's "Perfect Corporate MAN" in Ephesians is probably the Culmination of the church age.

the jews didnt go into exile they went to galalee and formed another sandhedrin. the aod is what jesus talked about when you see the ABOMONATION OF DESOLATION as spoken of by daniel then flee to the mountains!
that implies a temple must be built.

ok. most of revalation is about the nations and kingdoms around isreal.
america isnt mentioned, china, nope.
so the coming judgment to them was for that isreali state then not now!
the redemption for the christians was like and old testament style deliverance from an evil nation. all of the earth isnt mentioned there, and those beast in revalation allude to daniel's visions and nearly look alot like.
so when the church talkes about our redemption coming its kinda like this. we are redeemed when we repent. we are going to be reedeem fully when the whole earth is set free from the curse of the adamic sin.
that hasnt happened yet.
but jesus wasnt talking about that redemption in matthew 24 but the freedom from an opressor.
now, this doesnt mean i have got it all figured out. but that is the way i see it.
But the temple was thrown down in 70 AD right? Why are you talking about a third temple? The house of Israel was being led by false shepherds. They killed the prophets. How many prophets can you name? How far back do you want to go? Today there are people who will try to tell you what happened because they know what the 1st century Jews thought. Tell me what the 1st century blind guides thought and I will tell you what the devil thought. It's madness. Tell me they formed another sandhedrin in Galilee and I'll say, Great! a synagogue of Satan in Galilee.

wow,just wow. the inorder for the temple to be like that it has to be there.
because you claimed this generation in the gospel is the hippie generation. and some aod is a nuke thing that is why and im trying to get you to see that aint possible.
the jews were scattered btw but a remnant always stayed in isreal. that is how the modern state claims right to that land.

I see you're looking for an idol and you need a temple to put it in. This is according to the teachings you have received. Jason, Christ was the temple! We are living temples. Those things that were thrown down were only buildings. If you are a Christian then do not go back to the vomit. Don't let yourself be made a prey of Jewish philosophy.
