DARN IT REBA, ME AND NATHAN QUOTE THIS STUFF. IM THE ONE WHO GOT HIM INTO THAT. AND WELL. poking a jewish culture. we call mountain dew , mountain jew.

One of my favorite Creed songs has some seemingly appropriate lyrics: Forked tongues and bitter mouths will drive a man to bleed from inside out.

As people we won't always agree on things, but when someone cuts us it's only natural to bite back. It's easier said than done, but best not to reciprocate lest we be as foolish as the next person. Love overcomes all. Turn the other cheek and your adversaries will either leave you alone or better yet, do the same as you. :)

Seems I'm outnumbered here, in Oz the GM brand name is Holden as in "Just holden together"

Reba is that 2 door pillarless? Can see it clearly, but I have to agree those were the days when they made cars as art. Not like the shoeboxes on wheels they make today.

Jeff, insanity truly is just that. I just finished writing a review of it fora client, I tried it out so i could write from the heart...nearly killed me and I am pretty fit...least I thought I was until I did that.

Jason ,feel free to useit, anything to the detriment of the general must be a good thing.

also I have to agree with mopar being a giant killer. In Oz we had the E48 and E 49 charger (Not the same as dodge charger) 245ci Hemi inline 6 cylinder with triple side draft Delorto's / Webers (which carbs you wanted were optional) they Killed Henry and the General at Bathurst.
Did you know that the current GTO'S you get in the US were designed and Built in OZ? We call them GTS Monaros. True Story.

We had a driver in dirt track in Perth "Shorty" Ben Ludlow. He ran a gremlin with an All ali Keith Black in it, won the championship for about 4 years running from memory.

NO door post.. no door handles .. when the cylinoid (sp) would go out i would have to climb out the window ... no big deal until i was about 6+ months pregnant .... YOUTH ! :) It had bucket seats... and drank oil

Paul, are you keeping tabs on the Holden Cruze? http://www.holden.com.au/vehicles/cruze

Looks really impressive so far, and completely made in Australia, I believe. Only Holden vehicle apart from the Commodore that's made entirely in Oz.

The Volt seems to be going well for an electric. I don't think the industry is ready yet, but it seems a good leap forward.

Nick, havent kept up with Aussie motor scene since I left. ESPECIALLY GM:D Volt? full electric? I'll hafta Google that one.
My youngest son had a Typhoon....until he lost control of it and wrote it of :grumpy Praise the Lord he wasn't injured:amen

Sadly I'm a rice burner pilot these days. There are a few Aussie fords and GM's in the nearest town though. XR Falcon and HQ Stateman and of all things a HK Brougham all original with the 307 and powerglide.

I think the Volt has a backup system. Not sure on that though.

When did you leave?

Hyundai are getting very popular, btw.

When I came to this forum, I was very happy that I'd found like minded Christian people to share the wonder of Gods love with. And, for the most part that's been true. Sadly there are some who think schoolyard bullying tactics, pseudo psycho analysis of others, spamming a thread with political rhetoric and answering simple questions with demeaning and belittling comments is appropriate. Anyone who is not of their political persuasion is a target and they seem to get away with it unchecked. The final straw has been a new thread someone started about hatred, and the reply from one of the members here was to call for it's removal, followed by more name calling and belittling. When I pointed this out I too was the target of this keyboard warrior.

While I am far from being perfect, I do make every effort to avoid confrontation by using civil language in everything I do. (not so, many moons ago) In the real world outside of the forum these two heroes would be on a fast track to some nasty repercussions if they behaved in this manner towards other human beings.

So in a nutshell , enough is enough. I sincerely hope that the moderators will ban these bullies before they have a chance to attack someone with their insolent manner again. You both know who you are and I suggest standing in front of a mirror, take a good long look at yourself before you again call yourself "men" of God.
I wish every one here the best of the life God has blessed us with
Blessings in Christ to each and every one of you here at CFnet

I hope you stay around, we need people like you around here.

Nick , left 2005, went back for 2 weeks in 2008 but only stayed 6 days before I'd had enough and missed Thailand. Haven't been back since. With Skype, emails and phone, don't have to miss out on family. Hyundais have come a long way from the lemons they were when they first went global. Very popular in LOS

Thanks Lewis, definitely staying, not going to let the other two win.

Ahh Free, great an ally in a very sad (new) Topic:thumbsup Look out you chevy supporters, my back up Starsky's just arrived in the Taurino!!!!! (spelling?)

They might be the new Toyota and Mazda, when Japanese cars used to be known for what Chinese cars are now.

Some of those Hyundais are seriously fuel efficient, like 4 or 5 litres per hundred k's, running diesel.

Nick I agree (Hyundai is Korean tho) they're taking up where Toyota and Nissan left off. Kia is also big here. But I'm sorry to say, theres nothing like a V8 under the hood or a V twin under your bottom.

That's what I'm saying - Korea is the new Japan, although Japanese cars are still good. Kia is certainly gaining popularity.

I think that the huge V8 era is coming to an end and I'm not sorry about that. I see little reason for most people to have such a powerful and fuel-consuming vehicles.

Definitely no need with the advances in technology. But the performance, sound and sheer power stirs something (primitive) in a lot of people,me included.
