What are you afraid of the most?

I'm not completely sure, but I suspect the grim reaper is a variation on this guy (the one on the right).

This old man, whom we see every year in our local newspapers, is actually Chronos, the Greek god of time. He has a sickle, because he was also the god of agriculture. There's someone else who's also a variation on the same Greek god. Chronos was believed to have been the first god. His reign was a "golden age". He was later exiled by the other gods to the uttermost north, but he returned once a year, at the winter solstice, bringing peace and joy to all men. Is there anybody you know of who lives in the "uttermost north" and comes to visit us at the winter solstice every year, bringing with him peace and joy for all?

Like I said, I'm not completely sure about the grim reaper, but it would be interesting if all three of them were related.

Why YES! My Uncle Fero from Whitehorse used to visit every Christmas. Everybody liked Fero and Fero liked his vacations from the cold northern winters!

Well... not exactly... but almost. If my suspicions are correct, they're related. Santa and the grim reaper are both "descended" from Chronos, so they're siblings... or cousins... or something...

Always knew Santa has a dark secret.

He has a skeleton in his closet. But if the grim reaper is in the closet, wouldn't he have to come out of the closet to do his work? Does that mean that the grim reaper is gay?

The TOG
LOL Then I hope the Grim Reaper is male (we don't know, all the parts that define gender are missing) so maybe he'll just ignore me and go for a guy instead. Which explains why men have a shorter life expectancy then women.

Yeah but how do people know that? If there is nothing left on it's body that would define its sex, then does it have a sex at all?
tradition. sheesh its just the symbol of death do we need to be pc about that? now me must have mother age and father time too? or how about father nature instead of mother nature.
