Billy Graham does a lot of good in the world. His net worth is about 25 million. It's difficult to write books people buy by the thousands and not make a lot of money. Franklin Graham makes nearly 1 million a year. Is that a big deal? I don't know. But here is how John Piper handled the problem of wealth. It's worth reading the entire article. Here's a taste:

In Piper's last year at Bethlehem Baptist where he preached, his salary had just broken over 100,000 dollars. That's it. Not a million, not a half million.
" If some pastor has ten-times more than the average folks in his church, he is communicating that material things are too important to him. It is a stumbling block."
"Accumulating money, and buying vastly more than you need, does not make Christ look great. It looks like things are great. There is a reason why Paul said, “We brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content” (1 Timothy 6:7-8)."
I think the proof that what Joyce and others like her are doing is at best a problem and at worst pure greed is the fact that we are talking about it and justifying it. God does not want you wealthy. He wants you faithful. When it comes to money, enough is enough.
There are pastors working two jobs trying to keep their families fed. Meanwhile Joyce Meyers net worth is the same as Billy Graham. Something is wrong with that picture.
